I play this deck for my league Sundays. We max at 10 points per week so I go in and get my 10 points so fast and can move on with my day haha.
As a ruby sapphire player this deck gives me anxiety. Great video.

I played a deck similar to this in the last days of pixelborn and it did pretty good. Still relied on being able to get a fast start otherwise it was toast but had a lot of quick wins.

What about adding Pluto bodyguard? Play like 2 or 3 Pluto 1 drops then have like 1 or 2 of the shift 5 Pluto bodyguard(and he’s also inkable) not only is it a high quest bodyguard 2 quest but high health and he heals every turn and can’t get taken out by Sisu automatically(they would have to hit him with like ice block or bow and they will have to deal with it before going for other cards…
Solid reason but red blue is already very favorable and that would slow the deck down to much imo
Great list! I love Amber/Amethyst and I play it with friends of mine in local.
Anyway, what do you think about a different balance of bodyguards (for ex. 3 Eric, 4 Donald, 2-3 Baloo & 2-3 Simba)?
I'll be taking this deck to a local and make adjustments after some irl games

What are your thoughts on Isabela Madrigal instead of Kida? Mostly because I don’t have the Kida’s, but my thinking was it’s evasive so it’s harder to get rid of and if you are late in the game and have low or no characters out she can quest for 4. She is also inkable if you don’t need her just like Kida. She also doesn’t have the Sisu fears.
Really good card that can close games out for sure. I still prefer kida but if you don't have her it's a good swap
Did you see the kids tournament down in Florida had a purple/red hyper agro deck. I think it was by meta born gaming if you wanted to look it up. I’d be curious what your opinion was of it vs this one.

I’ll be using this deck for set championship. Do you have any videos playing it so I can get more acquainted? My local doesn’t do Lorcana, so I have to travel and can rarely do that.

How do you decide when to play bare necessities vs piglet or Pinocchio on 2? Just depends on opponents deck?
Yeah depends on their deck, if you feel a whole new world, grab your swords and want to stop it. Otherwise I usually use a bodyguard to sing it on 4 if I can wait that long. At that point your closing the game out so even the hand knowledge is very strong
@@TheReal_InkwellGaming makes sense. I haven’t been doing as well with this deck against AI the past couple days. Prior to that I was winning almost everything haha. Seems a little draw dependent but that’s probably most decks. I’d say steel song is the hardest matchup, then emerald steel discard, and then ruby amethyst. It does really well against Sisu and sapphire steel it seems.
Amber/amethyst is my first love lol, but ruby/sapphire has been catching my eye as of late lol.
I’m sorry if this is a dumb q, but how can you plan exactly what you’re going to do if you’re not guaranteed to have those cards in your hand at the time
You just try your best, that's more the ideal play but sometimes you adjust
Build your deck based on it running your ideal strategy/draw.
Can I ask why you would run Wendy over Pua?? I'm sure there is a reason, but not sure what it is 😂
3 will survives more, I have swapped to sleepy instead since most don't have a t2 answer so being exerted is ok
Pluto reducing costs make this faster, also 99 puppies x2 is a great addition
Pluto skips an entire turn and puts your usually win from 4-6 turns to 5-7 Which is very dangerous this format
No baloo body guard?
Nope, as mentioned the 0 strength lost me more games than the 2 lore won me. Think of it this way.....Eric vs baloo. Either way they take out your body guard. Baloo you gain 2 lore...Eric kills their character too so that means you can get 2-3 lore extra bc they lost that threat to challenge your board. Both cards end up getting you a couple extra lore but 1 wipes out their character too

Baloo gets you lore.
@nathanrhoades6504 when they kill baloo that character survives and kills another of yours. When they kill Eric they also die and cannot kill your other character so you still get the 2 lore from that character that you otherwise wouldn't have

@@TheReal_InkwellGaming if they smash Baloo and challenge your high lore babies you get 2 lore. If they smash a 3/3 and challenge your babies you get none. You don’t get lore either way if they use removal.
Doesnt make sense because how do you have enough inkwell to even play so many characters by turn 5
If you hit on curve and have a bodyguard t 3 and 4 to protect just lilo on 1 piglett on 2 = 17 by turn 5. Assuming you have 0 other low cost cards in play
I don’t think it will be useful for me at all…. I have ALOT of emerald/steel in my locals so it won’t do to well.
You can win vs them but yeah might not be the best choice
Emerald steel is the hardest matchup for this deck. Steel song is also pretty challenging.
@@chags3512 ironically people have moved on from steel songs it’s a lot of emerald/steel, Ruby/amethyst, sapphire/steel, Ruby/sapphire and a few Ruby/Amber
@@ElizaShakiraMassani yeah I’ve noticed that. In my testing it seems like steel song is still tough for this deck. That’s against AI though so who knows haha
