As someone who has been in business for 5 years, has a business social media following of 3.5 million, and generates $8 million a year in sales using different sales channels. I can tell you that when you are first starting out a lot of RUclipsrs won't tell you about the marketing side of running a business or having a side hustle. The truth is if you don't focus on building a following and establishing brand authority then it's a race to the bottom because the customer will always go for the cheaper option or go with the brand they are familiar with. You need to focus on building your brand and providing a quality customer experience if you want to have a sustainable business.

I made my first low content book last month. I was so excited. And yes I agree you definitely need a strategy. But I’m glad I ran through the process so I know what to improve on for my next one.

So don't have any expectations for your practice books so you're not disappointed if they don't sell. The more you make, the better you will get at it and the more chance of success.

I can say unequivocally that there is not a better all-around portfolio management software program out there today. IAM handles everything... even those esoteric transactions that no one thinks about talking about in the media. And, Quicken is not sophisticated enough to handle the transactions as seamlessly as IAM. IAM is a GEM⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

However, spending time conducting research to gather data, ask questions, figure out what you want and the logistics of a problem BEFORE you take action is always a good thing. The key difference is all in the ACTION. If my goal is to start a passive income stream but I all I’ve done is “research” then I’ve failed because I didn’t DO anything towards my actual goal. Wow I wish I would have known about this years ago. Went to visit my mom and she had some of my old journals that I created when I looked down at my little copyright date it said 2014 I had one from 2004 one from 2011 one from 2018. Talk about missing my calling now the things are everywhere LOL my first one was called a boss book. And everyone wanted one that I knew but I did not have the confidence or the money to keep on binding it from Kinko's and printing it all up from my home printer.

My books have been on Amazon for 7 months and I haven't had any success because Amazon is saturated with thousands of people who are doing the same. I believe the only people who are making money from it are the people who started before everyone found out about it! Who knows I might luck up next year!
