My favorite moment in Doctor strange in the Multiverse of Madness is when Sorcerer Supreme Strange gets stab by a tentacle creature.
The Illuminati
Top 10 Greatest Doctor Strange Villains!
They did the Illuminati dirty
@12:07 she broke his neck you nitwit, not tear his face in half...did you even watch the film?
I think my favorite part of this movie was when America explained the concept of dreaming your alternate selves and Wong says, "So that dream where I'm naked and being chased by a clown...?"
Lmao, yeah, I was in stitches over that!!
I hope that Wong is ok
I was wheezing at that part lmaooooooooo
What clown would be chasing him? I hope it isn't Pennywise, or I'll never be able to live it down. My hatred of that creature is still too strong to let go, even after 3 years..
@@dafilmqueen556 Its the Joker from Batman, everyone would run from that clown
Benedict Cumberbatch did a very good job playing all few alternate versions of Doctor Stephen Strange in the 2022 sequel.
He killed it with the Sinister Strange, absolutely awesome delivery
His American accent has gotten so much better since the first Dr Strange movie.
Facts man Civil War was favoMarvel movie and I think the new Doctor Strange is my favorite
Now imagine if his variants had screentime.
Username checks out
Favorite moment is Undead Strange. From his rise to his cape, it's just metal. Pure Raimi.
agreed
That was totally my favorite moment in the movie. I saw an interview with the screenwriter saying he had to convince Raimi to do it though! Apparently he didn’t want to come across as only doing his same horror stuff over and over, but it was awesome and I’m glad he did.
Me 2 ! 😁
We got that apology from Raimi for that Tobey dance?
@@tianapitesr8553 Tobey dance is no longer a bad thing. Besides, the only apology we're owed comes from Avi Arad.
I wish they included on how Wanda finally saw the error of her ways & her alternate self forgave her & comforted her knowing that the kids will be loved
I know! That was such an emotional scene, watching Wanda realize even her own kids were scared of her, to just kneeling broken down in tears, to her alt self forgiving and comforting, to then her sacrificing herself to destroy the Darkhold permanently. It should've easily been in this list.
that's sort of what she did.. not everything has to be said.. her alternate self knows her well.. of course the kids will be loved! the alternate self is their own mother.. she doesn't have to convince her 'evil' alternate self from another multiverse that she is gonna love her own kids!
I know Multiverse of Madness wasn't exactly what some of us wanted, but if you heard what Kevin Feige said earlier this week, things will start to make a little more sense when he makes the next big wave of announcements
What did he say?
It is exactly what I wanted
I see this movie like taking a break from Villains and let hero's fight each other. But we still have villains. But it's them self's!
Yep. I don’t think it’s as important in the grand scheme of things as we might’ve thought before, but it still dropped some big hints. Mainly incursions. Maybe a little messier than we thought it would be, but I’m entertained pretty much all movie
@@cyborgyAKAJaredN I am the same way, even though the movie had it's shortcomings, it was still really fun
This list made me appreciate the movie more
My favorite was Xavier’s entrance due to the x men theme. Any scene of Xavier in general was great. Also really enjoyed black bolt and reed. Really enjoyed this movie
I loved how when Wanda escaped the mirror dimension she looked like that creature from the ring and when she kills the Illuminati her face covered in blood made her look like Stephen kings Carrie
evacuate the city, engage all defenses and get this woman a reflective surface
My mom called it
Sam Raimi, a master of horror, knows how to pay respect to other legends of horror.
The music battle between Strange and Sinister Strange was one of my favorite parts of the movie
Film director and ‘Evil Dead’ creator Sam Raimi plus the entire cast and crew did a FANTASTIC job together.
Made more than 930 million worldwide indeed.
Probably would have earned more if the Illuminati had a bigger role and consisted of previously established characters rather than reinterpretations
Since it is a Multiverse movie, meaning there were a number of Doctor Stranges, maybe they’ll be another John Krasinski Mr. Fantastic somewhere in the works. Fingers crossed 🤞
Agreed, his performance made me crave a Fantastic 4 movie or show. I need more of his performance, I need to see Galactus, I want all of it. Lowkey hoping we can get H.E.R.B.I.E. if so.
Hopefully, we get Earth-199999 version of the Fantastic Four and X-Men.
I think there is another version of John Krasinski's iteration of Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic
The movie is definitely a 9/10 for me, seeing the Illuminati members killed off quickly really bummed me out, it just would’ve been nice for them to have been given more screen time, and to showcase their development, but it is what it is.
But overall it’s still a most definitive recommendation.
Keep in mind that it's an alternative universe and they'll be back, no doubt.
Plus they’re was other cameos planned which were pretty much all to be cannon fodder for Scarlet Witch’s rage and there was supposed to be a Michael Fassbender cameo that he is 838 Wanda and Pietro’s dad and he had Xavier put blocks or a psychic lobotomy to inhibit her powers.
I remember the shock on my face when I saw not only Mr.Fantastic but Professor X as well!
Me too! 😀😀😀😀😀
Black Bolt was mind blowing
Same. Also, Captain Carter in the film was surprising as well.
@@rexlumontad5644 Right? And that they brought back Anson Mount was amazing
One of my favorite moments was in the beginning when Wanda slips up and reveals she is the main villain. I was stunned to find out since I made it my mission to avoid any references to the movie (especially youtube videos) so I could go in blind. When she transforms this beautiful, serene orchard into a dark, hellish landscape my jaw dropped. I really loved this movie since it was a much needed respite from this horror show of a world we currently live in.
It was cool seeing professor X but it was GREAT seeing his classic outfit and chair (while hearing the theme)
Just seen that Mr. Fantastic introduction still doesn't get old. Best believe that's going to be a most pause moment for me. Or rather the best replayed moment
This installment in the MCU definitely showed alot on what's to come in the MCU. Benedict definitely has done this portrayal of Doctor Strange very well
I gotta say, even after her rampage, Wanda is still my favorite MCU character. How she easily dealt with the Illuminati was brutal and badass and shows how powerful she really is. I don't think we've seen the last of her. I doubt the Darkhold collapsing on her was enough to kill her.
Also am I the only one who thinks Garganto was kind of cute.
Op characters are just the worst.
@@ark1567 ikr this makes me think thanos is just a kid to her
@@elg_eazy3348 You made the main villIain a threat, not an impossible challenge.
@@ark1567 Stfu wanda hater u wouldn't say that about thor, ghost rider, phoenix, superman,dr Manhattan or flash.
U just have a problem with wanda being OP

i love you in every universe scene deserves to be here
I love it when Rebecca talks on watchmojo she along with the rest of the watchmojo crew knows what the people like
I was surprised that Scarlet Witch was the main antagonist when I first saw this movie. I was expecting it to be Karl Mordo since he took a villainous turn in Doctor Strange’s previous solo movie and that he was featured in the promotional art for this film. Also, I like how the X-Men theme was used when Professor X appeared. And I’m looking forward to seeing where Doctor Strange goes from there. Especially since now that Clea has come into the picture.
This happened to me too also back in 2017 when i thought ayesha is the main villain in gotg vol 2
There were literally tv spots and posters that hinted wanda was the villain.
She was literally at the center of every poster
I hope they don't pair them.up as a couple. That will make him so basic.
I loved/hated Wanda in MoM she was so powerful and mind-blowing but they did her dirty by missing up her character development from wandavision. Overall loved the movie and would recommend🤩
they should’ve tidied up the transition maybe have her accidentally read the book in wandavision before actually deciding to succumb to it showin that darkhold was gettin a hold on her
I mean its pretty obvious that she was corrupted but it may have been a bit more helpful if they showed how she was getting corrupted
@@michaelappel103 idk if you recall the agatha say the book corrupts those who read it ?? cause if she didn’t I could see wanda mistakenly reading it in between the show & movie
@@ngin98 Well she did read it in the post credit scene of Wandavision
@@michaelappel103 I meant like did wanda know the darkhold corrupts those who read it cause correct me if Im wrong I don’t recall agatha tellin her that
One of the best moments for me is seeing the actor playing mr fantastic not even seeing professor x in the mcu bt mr fantastic. I loved the ending so much as well as it didn't end in a same vs same battle just depth & acceptance.
I literally yelled out during the "no-mouth" scene...
And Krasinski NEEDS a proper role in the MCU. He was the most likeable iteration of that character ever to be put to the screen.
I absolutely love how Black Bolts suit was ripped straight out of the comics even down to them adding the wings!!!
Yesssss
My favourite moment was undead Strange! It didn't crossed my mind until hi said " How said anithing about being alive?! 😵😱🤯
Definitely one of the best movies this year. I truly hope we can get more Black Bolt and Reed Richards in the future. Really hope this is also the precursor to a new X-Men, would love a show and hopefully some proper character development for Cyclops and Wolverine, because frankly, they were pretty big pussies in the previous movies when compared to their comic counterparts.
Wolverine was perfect, wtf are you on
@@JT-cx2ev Somebody obviously hasn't seen Wolverine go berserk and take on an entire army. Meanwhile in X2 he gets knocked out by a single bullet like a little bitch.
No its not lol
I wouldn’t say it’s “the best”, but I thought it was good (in a way)
@@silashurd3597 its my new MCU number 1, im a huge CB strange fan and absolutely loved the illuminati sequence along with always being on the edge of my seat, most underrated part of this movie is the battle of Kamer Taj
MoM
IW
NWH
The Winter Soldier
Endgame
my top 5
The cold open beast looks a lot like the Alphas from Edge of Tomorrow
My favorite Multiverse Of Madness moment was definitely Wanda kills the illuminati seriously she is so powerful and crazy that she killed the a team of superheros like that!😱😰
They didn't have Hawkeye!
That’s child’s play compared to when she snaps in the comics main example is in house of m when she’s told to put things back. Just before she does she just says no more mutants and shuts down the powers of almost all existing mutants at the time across the multiverse! 🤯
This movie became my favorite marvel movie among ALL marvel movies. Being a Sam Raimi fan, I saw SO MUCH of his other works in this film that made me appreciate the hell out of it, not to mention the sheer badassery of Scarlet Witch. I liked her before, I loved her after this. This is the kind of movie we go to the theaters for!
Vision: “None of this would happen if you never show up.”
Thanos: “I should have killed her when I had the chance.”
When Black Bolt screamed and blew out the back of his head, I laughed so hard because it was so damn unexpected
If Disney didnt own Marvel,Raimi would have a field day with Black Bolt's death
I think the scene where alternate Wanda comforts/forgives The Scarlet Witch (Know that they will be loved) should be on this list, even as an honorable mention. Bear with me Here:
It excellently displayed the two sides to Wanda’s character: the caring, empathetic woman we knew and loved from the beginning (The Hero) and the monsterous, relentless Scarlet Witch (The Villain). All the evil she’s done in MoM (which I personally thought was lousy writing of her character) made it difficult to sympathize with Scarlet Witch, even though we could understand her pain and trauma. Then we finally see the Alternate Wanda, who reminded us of all the good qualities we loved about her that the main version lost, And the fact that after being possessed and attacked by The Scarlet Witch, Wanda forgave and comforted her because it was display of her empathy and motherly love that the Scarlet Witch once had. And that was enough to convince the main Wanda to do the right thing for the first time of this movie.
Simply put, I just found that display of Empathy and Compassion to be very moving
+Hasan
I wholeheartedly agree except for the "Wanda being evil was lousy writing" part.
Her being evil was the natural progression of her character. The ending of WandaVision perfectly set up the fact that she was going to be the villain in this movie.
I love Wanda just as much as everyone. But, damn it, the natural progression of the story is more important than our collective fandom of said character.
Plus, Elizabeth Olsen took joy in being a villain. So, I think any "complaints" about that aspect are unfounded.
@@thealjohnsonshow2188 I see what you’re saying. But hear me out:
the thing is Wanda already played the villain in Age of Ultron, and has since then been a hero, an avenger. Yes she hasn’t been the best one considering what happened in Civil War and WandaVision, but she just needed help. The ending of WandaVision made it look like she was gonna seek help for her mental health and find closure. And if that happened in this movie, then her whole arc of struggling with loss and mistakes would come full circle as Wanda finally becomes the hero many people (us viewers, Captain America, Hawkeye, Vision etc.) believed her to be.
Instead she becomes a villain that does too much unforgivable acts to be redeemed. Sure the Darkhold gave her the push, but she is still responsible for it all. And when Wanda realized her crimes, the only thing she could do to atone is destroy the darkhold and kill herself to do it. That’s how she decides end her pain and avoid facing consequences of her crimes. That sends a really bad message to those struggling in mental health. Plus if Wanda does return, her redemption is gonna be practically impossible to achieve especially after all she’s done in MoM. I call that lousy writing, but just my opinion

I remember watching this in theatres with my bestie. God it was more horror then hero. And I loved it
Always love hearing your wonderful voice, Rebecca.
I love this movie, I especially love that Sam Rami was allowed to go full "Evil Dead" mode. And honestly I loved the cameo with Bruce Cambell more than the Illuminati, it just seemed fitting now that Stan Lee is gone and won't make any more cameos.
I loved the jumpscare when the Scarlet Witch was chasing Strange and co,
Let's be honest with ourselves We All Screamed in joy when John Krasinski became Mr. Fantastic and hearts were shattered when he died.
I can't even count how many times I said "Woah" every scenes just blows my mind especially the Illuminati one and the undead doctor strange because of this I do now have a new favorite movie
I am definitely one of many people that agree that it was disappointing seeing the Illuminati be wiped out so quickly and easily, BUT as long as Marvel Studios brings back these amazing characters in future projects and didn’t just waste them like that then I am completely fine with the decision to kill them off so easily because it’s supposed to establish how powerful Wanda is. But it also begs the question on why not give us a full on action sequence with the Illuminati? Because just imagine how freaking awesome it would have been to have seen the Illuminati vs. Wanda in a full length battle showing all the characters strengths and powers?
But nitpicks aside, seeing John Krasinski finally casted as Mr. Fantastic was a dream come true and to see Patrick Stewart return as Professor X in the MCU was truly epic to see! But in all honestly, what blew my mind the most was seeing Anson Mount return as Black Bolt from the god awful Inhuman series because it was a truly horrible show and one of the worst Marvel adaptions I have ever seen and I would’ve been completely happy to never see the characters ever again after that. But seeing Anson Mount return in a badass comic accurate costume and giving a great silent performance with only a few seconds of screen time makes me want to see a Inhumans reboot with the same actors with a proper script this time!
BTW Mr. Fantastic’s costume design is simply beautiful to look at and seeing the 90s X-Men animated wheelchair is some thing I would have never thought I would ever see in live action!
Not important at all, but I audio recorded my theater reaction to the Illuminati reveal when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness first came out so check it out in my Spider-Man: No Way Home movie reaction posted on my RUclips channel (TIME STAMP IN DESCRIPTION OF VIDEO). Sorry for plugging my channel because I know that can be extremely annoying so feel free to ignore this part of the message and my video. I just wanted to let anyone know if you want to hear my audio reaction because I honestly did not know that the Illuminati would be in the movie or expect the castings/returns! Be warned though, it’s just mostly me and my friend freaking out though lol. Have a beautiful day my fellow Marvel fans. 💙🌻
the iluminatis are just cameos, not main characters
Scarlet witch twisted villain horror #
@@pedroagustin9989 I get what you mean, I was actually a person that didn’t know that the Illuminati would appear in the movie so I shouldn’t be complaining on their screen time, but like I said it begs the question on why introduce the characters with very little screen time especially if this might be the last time we see some of these characters or worse all of them. Like this is the first time Marvel Stuidios introduces the Illuminati in live action and it’s all just for a cameo to please the audience for a couple of minutes in a medicore movie? That’s just MY opinion.
Captain Carter, Captain Rambeau, and Professor X got to showcase there powers and abilities against Wanda so I just think it would’ve been cool and simple to see Black Bolt and Mr. Fantastic put up more of a fight or at least see all of them work as a team as the Illuminati because I definitely want to see all the member’s powers in use and I just want to see all of them interact with each other because I have been dying to see the Illuminati in live action forever! I know it sounds like I am complaining, but seeing the Illuminati in the theater without knowing they were going to appear was worth the price of admission alone. Have an awesome day! 💙✌🏻
@@peaceoutandgoodbye I didnt really care about how little screentime they had since most of those characters like Mr Fantastic, Black Bolt, and Professor X (prolly not played by Patrick) will be in the our universe sometime down the road, Marias powers were basically the same as Carols and it was nice seeing that my argument that Wanda is powerful than Captain Marvel was proven, and then we should see more of Captain Carter in What If? and maybe other projects live action in different universes.
I like zombie defender strange I put him at number two actually switched it around. So meeting the Illuminati was number one and then right after zombie strange. Seeing him wield The souls of the damned as a cape that was amazing!

Great video. Now we need top 10 savage Wanda Maximof moments in DS:MOM
I can finally watch this because I have actually seen it in theaters. Will speak of my ranking after yours
Ok here's my list:
1. Meeting and then Wanda killing the Illuminati (I kind of grouped it together)
2. zombie strange
3. Clea appearance
4. Scarlet Witch destroys the Kamar Taj
5. Wanda escaping the mirror dimension (that sequence was so amazing because she came out to the board in a very horror like way but I like to also the part where she was in the puddles taking down each sorcerer to the point of covering up the puddles)
6. Charles entering her mind (still was hoping for a psychic fight hence why I lowered it)
7. Doctor strange versus sinister strange
8. Multiversal transition. Definitely deserves to be in the top 10 because honestly that was well shot and well edited I put it lower however because I wish they had actually stayed in the dimensions a little longer. 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
9. Beginning scene
10. Gargantos attack.
Her going through the reflections was probably best moment for me. Love the mirror dimension visuals, love her horror vibe there. It’s at least my fav non flashy scene. The music fight, undead strange, illuminati stuff awesome too of course
I have one more thing to say about Charles Xavier entering her mind not only was I expecting a psychic fights it would have been really cool if in that fight we would have gotten to see two powerful people cuz we know Xavier is a powerful mutant an omega level mutant. So something to kind of hint even if they don't reference it that he's actually really powerful himself that he knocks her down and then she finds a way to best him. In other words it would seem like he has won the fight and then all of a sudden she comes out on top in a similar way to how she killed him. That would have been a major hint to say okay he's actually pretty powerful there's the omega level mutant reference without actually saying anything about it. Missed opportunities honestly
Charles was an Alpha level, he’s an omega telepath but not an omega level mutant. It would have been nice to see him battle Wanda, but she was fully Skarlet at this point. It was definitely a no contest win for him being inside Skarlet’s mind. He never stood a chance.
One of my fav director Sam Raimi... He nailed it like 20s Spidey movies
"You've exhausted my patience. But I do hope you understand. That even now. What's about to happen. This is me, being reasonable".
Funny how Scarlett Witch did all that trouble just to be around her kids... Meanwhile Thor just cruising with the gardians of the galaxy after he lost his parents, his brother, his world and lost his eye😂
😂😂😂
Wanda lost just as much as thor
Honorable Mention:
*America Brings Scarlet Witch To Her Senses
-At the climax, Chavez gives Scarlet Witch exactly what she wants, except, it wasn't what she wanted. Billy and Tommy are terrified and try to fend her off when the invading witch attacks the other universe's Wanda. This ISN'T what Wanda wanted, this was what she NEEDED: A SERIOUS wake-up call to get her to see the monster she's become!
In fact, can you put Wanda from WandaVision on "Top 10 TV Characters That Are Actually The Villain?" Because given what happened in Westview, THAT was only the start to her descent.
Mom and I watched this last night and enjoyed it a lot. Lost our mind over the eye thing though lol
The music fight was a delight for me. A new twist for fights
My favorite part was when Wanda was chasing Strange, Christine, and America through the tunnels. She was all bloody and injured, and almost frothing at the mouth. It was creepy and just great acting from Elizabeth. I never cared much about Wanda until ‘Wandavision’. Elizabeth is such a great actress, and she continued to steal scenes in a movie that wasn’t even hers.
I truly loved it, Sam Raimi was perfect for characters like Wanda and Dr Strange with their black magic and Witchcraft with some horror vibe 💯🔥
The X-Men animated series music was what got me on Charles Xaviers entrance......shit was to dope
I’ll be honest I thought this movie was going to deal with any repercussions from no way home but I’m still happy with what we got
Yeah thats exactly what I thought we were going get.
Calling it now, it was Kang that did all that damage to Sinister Strange’s world. When asked by Doctor Strange, Sinister doesn’t directly answer the question who did that to his world. Heard it here first.
Don't refer to Sinister Strange as Sinister. There's already a super villain named Mister Sinister.
490: I applauded for Captain Carter, Mr. Fantastic and Charles Xavier. Totally awesome
This was the most refreshing mcu movie in years.
I can't wait to see more of Doctor Stephen Strange and Clea in the future of the MCU after that mid-credit scene
I guess Doctor Strange 3 will have the Omniverse
I got scared, 3 times when I watched that episode of Marvel’s What If. From the movie trailer, I couldn’t believe it. Seeing the movie two times, it’s so cool
Watchmojo: Sam Raimi was definitely in his element with zombie strange giving us drag me to hell and army of the dead vibes
Me: can't forget evil dead I mean the way he designed kind of reminded me of it too
Not the first time we've seen musical notes being used as weapon. It was also in "Kung-fu hustle"
I was so happy to hear the old x man theme song when professor x Came out
Hearing that 90s cartoon theme rendition introducing Patrick Stewart in the futuristic wheelchair- that was just magical.
And here I am. Waiting to hear the big news "Next Marvel movie. Fantastic Four".
I watched this movie this morning.
"Who said they had to be living?" I love that line haha
8:09 Jim Helpert !!! No wonder.. he was the Smartest man in the paper company office as well ..looks like he finally left the Scranton and joined Avengers now.. go Jimbo🥳
Zombie Strange was simply the best lol.

ladies and gentlemen, the smartest person in the MCU
Not the "First time using musical notes as weapons" please see Kung Fu Hustle (2004) for an epic instrumental kung fu fight
Why is everything crazy always happening right outside the Sanctum haha he always walks out the door like “What NOW”
how convenient 😂
8:15 I still wish other cameos would have showed up like Tom Cruise's iron Man took Maguire Spider-Man etc but oh well
The part I was most happy to see three of the Original Illuminati. made in this movie.
The three are, Black Bolt, Mr.Fantastic and of course... Charles Xavier. Hope soon I know both, X-Men and Fantastic Four are coming, But Plz give The Inhumans a movie as well.
The iluminati should think before they have to fight wanda because she is to op of those hero in the MCU
Really all amazing moments in an amazing movie.
488: This gave me chills but seeing Wanda giving me Carrie vibes is spine tingling
The coolest part when introducing Professor X was the faint 90’s X-Men music playing in the background.
The musical battle reminded me of Kung fu hustle.
Seen the movie 10 times 6 in theaters and it gets better every time I watch.
The dark magic-controlled MCU Wanda Maximoff proven to be a very dangerous adversary.
I was more excited to see Bruce Campbell and the Oldsmobile than the rumored cameos
Number three was such a great scene in theaters
wanda: that doesn't seem fair.
gave me chills
The music fight was my favorite part. That wasn't the first time music has been used onscreen in a battle though. Late in Season 1 of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, there was an episode titled "Mayhem of the Music Meister" that had music and notes being used as weapons.
literally watched the movie yesterday, not what I expected
When DR. Strange went up to talk to the scarlet witch. That was my favorite part
"Know they will be loved" is the best scene for me
7:06 love this line
During #3, I really wish you would have put a bit more emphasis on when Professor X came in. His entrance being scored by the X-Men animated series theme made the cameo so much better.

-Wanda and Strange's beginning scene
-Wanda Attacks Kamar Taj
-Multiversal Transition or Hopping
-Wanda escapes the mirror dimension
