    Truly a great example of your workmanship being tested in time. I grow more excited to plan our build with you!

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Год назад

      Hi Jeremy,
      Mechanical things do break, and some things can wear out over time.... and with careful builds and inspections we can proactively try to address them, and make our rigs be more reliable.
      However I think one thing that is important to acknowledge is our customers and owners. When they take possession of our RVHaulers and hit the road in their adventures, they continue to keep an eye on maintenance and safety. They upkeep the RVHauler to quite high standards - we have invested quite a bit of our hard-earned funds in the system!
      Gregg

      Hello Sir,
      There are things in my workday that just give me a smile. Seeing a kind comment from Badger Pa always generates a smile.
      Thank for your unfailing kind words. However, if you ever see something out of sorts, I also have the trust that you have my back, and will let me know if something can be done better. That is what these comments and interactions are for.
      Kind Regards, Gregg

      @@rvhaulers If I could swing it I would already be headed up to look at the truck. I would want a tank to haul fresh water for boondocking otherwise it looks great. I prefer simple and do not need a ton of lights to later repair , etc. I appreciate your time you take to make the videos.

    After 45 years of driving semi trucks, I wanted to go from a half ton pickup to a 3/4 pickup truck and maybe a single axle short sleeper conventional cab power unit. My third pick up truck is a 2013 Ram 2500 4X4 quad cab 5.7 hemi which gets 8-10 mpg which isn't bad for a gasoline powered unit. Even though I am tickling 70, I would like to entertain the idea of a class 8 power unit with 400 horsepower and a decent final drive ratio below 3.73 to 1 on 11-22.5 low profile tires.

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Год назад +1

      Hello Adam,
      Wow, you have hit a few videos! Thanks for commenting and for posing your question.
      Yes, we do sleeper customizations as well. Every one of my builds is custom, and unique for my clients. I take the time to learn how my clients plan to travel, and we build the RVHauler to meet their mission profile. Sometimes that requires some tweaks to the sleeper. Sometimes the sleeper configuration is perfect the way it is.
      It is always cool when I get to communicate with a professional driver. What are you envisioning?

      @@rvhaulers hey hey I am always trying to check out all your videos when I have time. I started driving about 10 years ago and I have always thought how great a semi would be for towing a large 5th wheel and all the toys. I am not even close in getting my own rig but I have dreamed of a flatbed with a lift to maybe haul a small car with a side by side above. Not sure if I’d wanna tow 5th wheel or bumper pull yet. As far as the sleeper I imagine a cool lounge area with a big tv for my wife and daughter to enjoy while I drive 😂. Who knows if this will ever come to be but I can dream and keep watching your vids!

    Hi, what brand/kind of paint do you put on top of the bedliner? Thanks

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Год назад +1

      Hi Ken,
      We use an AkzoNobel Sikkens commerical paint.
      The KEY is you have to apply the top coat quickly after the bed liner. Within 10-15 minutes MAX. This often means you apply some bed liner to a moderate area, switch over to top coat it, and then go back to bed liner.
      Thanks for the question, and thanks for watching, Gregg

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Год назад +1

      Hi Keith. There is a huge range of paint job qualities - ranging from
      quick (looks good from 6 feet away, and don't open the hood or any doors) - about $7,000 USD (or even less) - sorry, not what I do
      to
      Gregg Quality - where we take off seals, mirrors, panels, doors, and any removable piece. Every rock chip filled. You are hard pressed to see a difference between a factory paint job. - about $14,000 USD
      Great question!
      Thanks, Gregg
