@@kyleflansbury9023 it's not about finding the right tool, to lear something first you need to be interested in learning it and like the subject, I liked Math, Geometry, English and its no surprise there those were the classes I mostly excelled at, while Portuguese or Science, things that became super repetitive and boring, I did not. Video games are a constant entertainment that interests players, so it's no surprise people prefer playing to to studying, there are a few games that help you learn school stuff, but they are boring, because they held you by the hand. In my case, I could already speak English when I was 4, why? Because I played Need For Speed games so much, that I started figuring out what they were saying on my own, that's the major difference. Having a class interesting, fun, entertaining and most of all, with no time limit to any student learn or to have him rush himself to catch up, is a better system that many schools unfortunately don't use, not to mention, games promote communication with other players, so learning becomes even more fluid that way. I apologize for the report letter, but honestly, I needed to vent this out.

Damn. I’m struggling to decide whether I’m seeing something that was built IRL or in minecraft and I’m not even far into the video. Everything just looks so planned and realistic. Hats off, I’m immediately subbing.
Very informative, this video actually educates people about infrastructure of bridges in real life as well. People don't realise how much goes into infrastructure projects. Even something as simple as a passenger bridge, the basics may completely not make sense to some people, and the video said that that was just the basics!
The more he teaches, the more Minecraft kids going to be genius at building and motivate them IRL too. Then this type of content goes trending, which is I imagine it will evolve builders into real builders IRL. xD
I like the small details like the addition of bridge drains. As a municipal Eng myself I would love to keep seeing those little details added and further the realisticness with sewers, mains, power and communications to add an underground aspect to the city as this is Minecraft we are talking about! It's one part of the problem we are looking at. The second is servicing the buildings.... hexk the whole city!
We have a modded Minecraft server with mainly tanks but we are adding in cars here very shortly. These videos of Andea have been a massive inspiration, mainly in regards to just forcing me to think of how I want to plan out my city differently than just a series of small paths. Thank you Alpine!

If you want to get into high-rise structural engineering there is multiple ways to go. It's funny you mention it because I'm in my first year as a structural engineer for high-rise buildings. We make calculations and designs for apartment buildings and tall sky scrapers. (if you want I can PM you our website and see what we do for reference) For you information, I'm from Europe, The Netherlands, I've done two master courses. One in The Netherlands at TU Delft, the basic Structural Engineering master and a grad. at Stanford Uni.. Here I did the Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering grad.. If you know exactly what you want to do in high-rise it can differ on what grad. you want to take for example; are you interested in foundations, the design of the building (modelling), or the raw calculations of the concrete, steel or wood. I assume your faculty knows what after grad. suits best for you because as far as I know it can be different per undergrad. per university.
