- Mobius 1967 F-100 Service Truck How I did the lights.
First, RUclips wouldn’t let me post the code in the description, so I posted it in the community section of my RUclips page. Here is a link to it.
/ @grandpamarkshobbies
If you follow the video and copy and past this where it needs to go it will work. I tested it twice.
It did take some time to get the wires all run, but in the end it was worth it.

Thanks, Mark. Your tutorial videos are my favorites. As a guy who hasn't written any code for 30 years, you _almost_ make me itch to get back to it! Almost. 🙂
LOL. Thank you very much. I hate and love writing code all at the same time. LOL
Excellent work Mark happy as a ping in truffles lol well done it really adds to the realism of modeling 👍👍
Thank you very much. I almost didn't say truffles. I caught myself on that one. LOL
That's great Mark, fantastic. Gotta love the Dome lights. They really look like they're really spinning around!! I like the 'double' flashing of each side of your 'wig wags' too. To hide the wires in the cabin I suppose I could thread them through a piece of hollow 'round' stock or 'half' round, but that's no biggie. Thankyou Mark. Catch ya next time, and you take care buddy. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you very much. I left the wires so everyone can see them. Honestly if you aren't looking for them you won't see them.
Great tutorial! Can't wait to see that MP3 player added. 👍
Speakers just came today, I hope to get it installed this weekend.
Absolutely brilliant tutorial video, I'll be looking into this for Australian police 🚔 cars. Nice work, thankyou Mark, 👍 Cheers🍻🍻 KC 🇦🇺🦘🤝🇺🇲🗽🏔🌧🦘
This will work great in a police car. I'd like to see the build.

Great teaching tutorial thank you. Going for a police cruiser as nextbuild
Thank you. The code I wrote will for sure work with the police cruiser. As long as it's not the new Dodge cruiser. LOL I just did an unboxing of that and I am opting out of lighting it.
Great tutorial Mark, I learned something today.
Thank you very much. That means a lot to me.
On your ----- QUICK SHINE ------ I wonder how it would work on one's daily driver ------ you can go out ----- clean and polish ----- but in a few months ---- they are already fogging up ------------ clean the lens up again ----- clean with a degreaser -----tape up and spray with your Quick Shine ------ Wonder how long they would stay clear ------- might even be clearer ---------- The lights on cars is really cool ------ saving this video for doing this ------ Thank You so much for Sharing this with us ------ Hope you are staying cool ----- sure is warm this summer ------- Have a Good Week ------- Rodney
Well, I'm glad you asked. . . I have tried it on our work van's headlights and it did nothing. LOL There is a product out there that you can get that is a 3 part process to do them. I'll let you know after this weekend if it works. I'm going to use it on the wife's car. To do those LEDs is really a lot easier than it seems. Just think about where you are going to run the wires and where the power is going to come from before you start anything.
Super job, you might have run the headlight wires through the engine bay to add wiring details to the engine bay. I'm doing a police car and I can really use your information. Thanks, John
Thank you. I was going to do that, but the way the kit is I had to go under the fender so it was better to run them that way. I'm glad I could help. I also have a video on how I just do headlights without all the computer stuff. It uses a cr2032 batt.
Thanks so much Mark. What a great tutorial. So easy to understand and the visuals are excellent. Thanks for the extra work you did to produce such a terrific video. I'm hoping you had some fun along the way too. LOL
Oh yeah... It's great to see the guy, the man, the legend who does all the work! LOL
Thank you. I really had fun doing it. Learned how to use two cameras too! Friday Night Live may happen this January.
@@grandpamarkshobbies Now that sounds cool Mark!
Thanks Mark for such a awesome video!
Thank you. The speaker came in. I'm going to add sound to this soon. LOL
sweet project and thanks for sharing, if you get bored maybe get some more money shots of the final product. that would be great.
I did a (finished video) on it that has a bunch of pictures in it.
That was great. Thank you so much for sharing that.
Thank you. I was learning as I was going along, so the next one will be a lot better.
Great video, Mark. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you for following along.
@@grandpamarkshobbies When I go to your channel home page and click the videos link, I have to scroll down quite a ways before I see a video that doesn't have a red bar under it.
Thank you. That made my day.
@@grandpamarkshobbies Also, I have your code saved on my computer.
Cool. Let me know if you need anything.
Very cool how to
Thank you very much.
OK, The "light dawns," now I "See" now how you did it. Thanks for the code. As soon as I learn how to spell Arduino and dust off my soldering iron we will be on our way.-sorta
LOL. The hardest part will be running the LEDs. The rest is easy.
I don't see many builders put lights in there models , so this is pretty interesting to me! I'm working on a 57 Bel Air and I'm putting head and tail lights in it. First time doing that with a kit. I'll be watching how you do this truck for tips for my build.
Thank you. Hey I have another video on how I do headlights that doesn't use the computer chips. It may be helpful to you. It is a roadster, but the process is the same and it uses a CR2032 battery.
Well I see you and OBS are friends and you did a great job figuring it out... Lol This is a awesome video and how-to do this and get everything done and working, so that is great... I get the copy "N" past part but I'm sure I will screw it up somehow... 🤣
Thanks again for the video Mark. I think I'll just be better off if I send you my kit... LOL
LLAP 🖖
I am getting it. OBS did an update and now my DroidCam doesn't work anymore. I switched over to another program that works almost as good, but man I really like OBS and am learning how to use it so I don't look like a bonehead. LOL Now I just need to make some camera booms. LOL
@@grandpamarkshobbies Awesome... Hummm, 🤔 mine still works, there again I use Android. Contact the dev and let him know and I bet he will get it fixed up for you.
Hahaha, Called Melp on a Stick...
Stargate Atlantis S02E12 - Epiphany
An John Shepard said it and Rodney McKay repeated it. Melp On A Stick.. Lol 🖖
I found another program that seems to work. I just need to bring my good laptop down when I do recordings. The one I'm using is too old and slow to keep up. LOL
@@grandpamarkshobbies I can relate to being old and slow to keep up. LOL 🖖
LOL.
Nice 😎
Thank you.
@@grandpamarkshobbies your welcome 😁
That is really cool Mark. Didn't know there was a PBR that you could do that with. Not trying to tell my age but the last time I did any programming was using Fortran back in the 80's. Don't know if you have heard of that programming language.
Yes sir I have. I honestly just laughed out loud when I read Fortran. . . You have been upgraded to Space Cowboy status. LOL
Great job. One question where do you get your LEDs from? Thank you for the how to.
Thank you very much. I get my LEDs here www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0993TJBP7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
