- A clip of Spiritbox’s set on the 2022 Voyeurist Tour. Filmed in Sayreville, NJ on 3/20/22. Courtney invites local legend Will Ramos (Lorna Shore) on to do vocals for Holy Roller.
Insane to think Will was covering this song not even a year ago. To see him perform live with Courtney is insane!!
So true
I was there. Incredible show especially Spiritbox
I was there! What a dream come true that my 2 favorite artists would come together in the armpit of America
We need a Studip version
Harmonized Gutturals. Hell fucking yea!
Mega Nut
About 75 cellphones would've been on the floor if I would've been fortunate enough to be there. Just kidding, BUT, this is such an incredible moment, and all that Spiritbox and Will see are phones in the air, instead of people going absolutely bananas. I totally get it, and don't want to hate on people wanting to capture a memory forever, but this needs to change. I wish venues would rig cameras around the venue from different, higher vantage points with the sole purpose of recording the shows, and putting it up on their website, where an access code allows ticket holders of a particular show to go in and download the shows, and they can even give non-ticket holders the option of buying certain band's sets or full shows. Theme parks do this, like snapping pictures on rollercoasters for example. I think it would be so incredible, because not only will you get a better quality recording without more arms holding phones in front of you, but you could keep your phone down, and get back to just rocking out and experiencing an amazing show.
i get it totally. first thought that came to my mind. At least here in germany it pretty common at smaller concerts not to take you phone out. (at least in the middle of a song) Ofc you could take a few hots for your sweet memories but since we are talking metal gig there is a big chance you get pushed from behind and drop it. the other way around this would cause nobody to even attemp any kind of dancing in the croud whilst everbody having theyre phone out. For me personally this scene from the movie: Walter Mitty comes to mind when the photographer refuses to take the rare picture of the snow lion just because this interferce his personal oberservance of this beautiful moment. Same goes for a really nice moment of a concert. You wont be able to feel it the same way with you phone out. And your phone or any camera ever will be able to get the moment right just you felt it. In truth it might be destoyed by it. disillusion it even.
Totally agree. Here in Australia you would have the biggest pit lmfao
@@Valnar18 When I saw knocked loose live in louisville I was surprised at the lack of phones compared to videos i had seen online, and it was a sold out show. Me and most people I saw only took clips of some popular parts of songs. Like you said, there were a shit ton of dropped phones in the pits, although lucky for them people nearby would stop for about 60 seconds to look or let them look before they went back to moshing.
I was at this concert and i agree with the phone problem but there were most parts during the set that the video doesnt show when everyone was moshing and having fun.
Hope they're gonna do one or two songs together 🙌🏻
This gave me goosebumps mane
they're voices combining sounds so fucking good
Glad to see this finally happen!
OMG! 🖤
ABSOLUTE CHILLS
Ohhhh heavens yes
Perfect feat.
Dope
Sick
Insano dms 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh my god all my dreams
Fucking chilllllls. So awesome
WOW
They fucking did it!!!!
Fuck me that was awesome hell yes!
LOL I see myself jumping in the front on the rails
Just goes to show how powerful and intensive Courtney’s vox are, Will has the tech down but deathcore vox are just quieter than og false chord screams
Are you deaf bro? All i can hear is Will in this lmfao. Also its all about who is on the soundboard lol.
@@Daniel-vu4qu haha shut up ya numpty, at 1:05 Courtney is huge then when it switched to Will at 1:18 he's really quiet. sounds like they raised him in the mix after a few seconds. then they're about equal from there until he does his gutturals at like 2:25 where it's all her
@@Untoldanimations Courtneys mic is turned up way higher dude.. At one points you can’t even hear Will anymore
Ye bro this was a pointless match up tbh. bring a guest on? Yeah sick no probs just 1 thing tho no one’s gonna hear you. Disappointing 😐
Her mic is just louder.
at 2:14 I got off big time.
Its cool someone recorded this but on the other hand its wierd to see so many people with their phones recording the show....
I’m here to complain about phones on my phone while watching a video recorded in a phone.
Sucks they had Courtney’s mic turned up so much you can’t even hear will
What are you talking about? He’s louder than she is.
@@ericsmith8129 nah bro your brains fried if you think you can hear will except for 1 or 2 times briefly.
I’m assuming Starland Ballroom? Woulda loved to have been there.
The world NEEDS this not live ASAP Courtney 🥴
All these goddamn phones but no pit.
Where’s will at tho?
Seriously those phones...This isn't The Apple convention, it's a fucking metal concert.
I agree to some point. But if there weren't any phones there would be no evidence of this actually happening. ;)
@@speckon Dunno, there could be one pro/semipro filming on every concert and you could get access to it later with a code attached to a ticket or something.
@@1banez I guess most record labels wouldn't be happy about that...
@@speckon Yeah that could be true. Anyway I dunno the solution for this. Maybe ppl who are filming should have their own area or something. Just don't block my view and don't be pissed if your phone drops when I'm enjoying a concert lol
@@1banez I also don't unterstand the phones on concerts. I just live in the moment when I am at a show so I don't care if someone is filming. It is just refreshing when someone "loses" his phone when the pit starts :D
haha is he really that quiet live like, that final scream I can only hear Courtney , cj mcreery, alex terrible, ben duerr, mark poida all are damnm fucking loud live, like fuk man
The mixing for his mic was just really bad
All you people whining about phones.... what do you think you're the videos from?
This sums up how I feel lol
What is this crowd? Put your phones down people
If they did that you wouldn't be seeing this video right now
Not really, pretty much every concert nowadays has a professional photographer / videographer there, no need for cell phone video with blown out audio most of the time.
I half agree, moments like these need to be captured sometimes, and you can't hold out hope that some professional will be filming it for everyone's viewing pleasure. So yeah, if you want to capture a moment, you can do that, should you do it for every song? Debatable, I'd say no, it's definitely harder to have a great time if you've got your phone out at a concert, it's like 80/20, 80% listening, singing and thrashing, just enjoying the moment, and 20% recording it for the memories to look back on one day and relieve the experience.
It's so sad to see so many phones up... FUCKING MOSH GUYS
Insane Performance of Spiritbox and Will, but very poor performance of the crowd. Put away the smartphones and enjoy the moment! Havent we all been through a terrible pendamic? Arent we all full of energy to give back to our favorite artists and show them some love in the Moshpit?!
...You're at a metal show. Put your fucking phones down and turn up.
They're still enjoying the show lmao
But then you wouldn’t be able to see this video and complain about the phones lol
@@fallofshadows2209 it's one thing for a couple people to be recording from the back or sides, but when there's fifty phones where the pit should be, the crowd is ass.
@@StarborneSybil Can't really argue with that. Sucks for the band though.
@@medioxcore I was there and this was probably the only song I saw this many phones out for. I hate seeing that but the mosh pit at this show was pretty damn destructive, especially in this song, you just can’t see it. But I agree, these people should have their own area and get out of the pit
Look at all the phones. So pathetic.
will got rekt apparently by Corteny's power. Keep in mind the mic is too far from her mouth still.
They have Different harsh vocal styles. His style is more range versatile, a little less push and more focus on throat/mouth control. She is the lead, and does clean vox so her mic is gonna be louder in the mix. Power isnt everything in vox, especially if you want longevity in your voice.
Excellent explanation, the difference in their styles is definitely what makes her sound louder imo. I'm sure will could go very loud if he wanted to
@@allshallperish35 indeed. Im a harsh vocalist myself with a lower range. If you watxh will's playthroughs on his youtube channel, you can see where he really goes in. Then those gnarly snarls/lows he pulls back to get that consistant wet sound. Btw, ASP IS THE SHIT! wish they would come out with some new new.
@@ruthlessrog1 Man I dream of new all shall Perish every night, I keep hearing they are making new stuff but I won't believe it until I see a single drop
@@ruthlessrog1 even if they switch mics Will is gonna get rekt again. There's only one male vocalist who can be visible next to her and that's is Alex.
Will is okay if you like his style. Not for me though.
He’s undeniably the best metal vocalist to come out this year. Lorna Shore had allowed him to go harder than ever before.
I knew I wasn’t the only one who felt his style didn’t fit this song. Idk what it is it just sounds so off. Don’t get me wrong he’s a really good vocalist though.
Totally agree! He is great and talented, but I in my opinion Ican't help but feel that his voice wasn't a good match with this song :)
This shot is the epitome of how sad concert crowds have become. Look at all the fucking screens. 🤣
Damn bro you’re only the 100th person to say that what did you expect when something this big happens
Nooooooo what are you doing?! Stop filming and do a fucking moshpit....
