I wish they never had broken up, wild orchid was such an amazing group. For sure they were back then. The music was like nothing you ever heard before.
I loved this song! As much as I enjoyed the singles from the first Wild Orchid album, I enjoyed this song even more for certain reasons. This vid is just so good, but that's just my opinion anyway.
BIG D'S ENTERTAINMENT RANKINGS & REVIEWS I agree with you . Love this song it fun and pretty catchy .not there strongest song but overall this album was definitely a bop . . #Fergie
This type of stuff is why they didnt make it, i think they tried to be more fun and pop with their second album, but their first album was good, r&b, Gospel, Pop, Adult Contemporary style suited them, this song isnt bad, but the video is plain cheesy and stupid. Of they were marketed and styled in a more serious way, they could have made it.
I agree. If they had been marketed more towards R&B and Adult Contemporary, their sound and vocals would have been showcased more. Their sound was more mature than teen pop.
biscuitoffme Britney can sing Jive records taught her how to sing nasally because they complained her natural way of singing was to soulful and mature for her age and that her voice wouldn’t sell teen pop records at the time if they didn’t change it to have a more baby voice like sound she was going to do R&B but they were looking for the next teen pop star and when they found out she could dance and was on the Mickey Mouse club they took her
Watched 3 of their videos before this and I am disappointed in this one. Very watered down vocals and this sound clearly seemed they were trying to be the Pop Princesses like others at the time. This didn't work clearly.
Jayvon I feel like if Britney Spears had this song it would’ve been a hit but it’s prob because like in the 2000s every record company tried to get their artist to sound like Britney to sell records they prob tried to get them to sound like the spice girls and it didn’t work out with their original audience being more into the serious R&B pop and stuff i actually like this is great teen pop
The 90s music scene was a trip. Literally.
Pop Up Video Vh1 Wild Orchid Rihanna Arcade Fire Justin Bieber Britney Spears Christina Aguilera Madonna Kylie Minogue Lady Gaga

They had some great songs.
Two of the three were on Kids Incorporated.
Nothing like listening to Fergie's original group in the beginning of 2023!
Wild Orchid's Be Mine is still one of many favorite songs that is very nice to hear.
I remember listening to the song as a teenager I still have the CD I used to listen to the city like every single day I love them
So 90’s
miss this!
Every 90s video turning powerhouse vocal skill girls into Girls Gone Wild ads

0:23 Not sure which came first but this line of lyric reminds me of a few lines from “Never Ever” by All Saints
All Saints was like 97
Cartoon Jam vendetta in January 20 2003
Those shoes 😂

I think Firgie is one Special Woman
My second cousin. Stephanie
I'm just here for Fergie
Harry Potter me too
X3
The other two except Fergie are singing like Britney Spears
But they can sing and not nasally so not sure how Britney sounds like the or vice versa
biscuitoffme Britney can sing Jive records taught her how to sing nasally because they complained her natural way of singing was to soulful and mature for her age and that her voice wouldn’t sell teen pop records at the time if they didn’t change it to have a more baby voice like sound she was going to do R&B but they were looking for the next teen pop star and when they found out she could dance and was on the Mickey Mouse club they took her
Britney and the other two are alto with big voice but they prefer to sing lightly...
This video gave me headache 😂
Is that fergie? ?????
Yes
Everybody moved

@@idonteperfect6943 ironic thing is, this song was released before britney even debuted
Really? This looks like 2000 or 2001 to me?
1:25 Kagome Kagome?
i think there music was too pop for rnb radio and to rnb for pop radio
