Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Drummer Jeff Porcaro was only around 24 at this time, but had already recorded with Steely Dan. Phenomenal talent.
But Deely Stan SUCKS!!
He was 19 on Pretzel Logic with SD. I went to school with the Porcaro boys and Lukather. Saw Jeff with SD 50 yrs. ago. Fire.
Some of the most elite session musicians of that time.
Toto was a group of professional musicians. You cannot go wrong here..........
They were the cream of the crop of session musicians that made great music as Toto. The drummer, Jeff Porcaro, is one of the most recorded drummers of the 70s and 80s. Phenomenal talent.
R.I.P. Jeff Porcaro...
@jimhawkin3897 Just 38 years old, at that. Such a terrible loss.
Of course, let’s make no mistake about it, he made those 38 years more musically prolific than most of us will, even given 100 years. Every beat counted.
Love TOTO. Awesome group.
Whew. What a burner. The musicianship is sick. And the lead vocals were next level.
That popping sound you're talking about is the kick drum and Jeff is so good at those variations on triple kick rolls. If you notice, he really goes off on that at the very very end.
Edit about 15 seconds later: I see you did notice that and you called it out man, that's great.
I was a teen at the time driving either my old Mustang or my dad's new Trans Am, blasting the **** out of this song on the radio! GREAT times. Even better, my girlfriend then is my wife and those high school friends are still my buddies.
It always gives me a good feeling when hard-working session musicians (guns for hire) can come together and form a band and succeed. TOTO, Glenn Cambell, and even
Jimmy Page did this same thing.
Great tunes from these gentlemen..TOTO. Smashing vocals from Bobby Kimball. Steve Lukather, guitar Jeff Porcaro, drums. Others were David Hungate bass, David Paich and Steve Porcaro keyboards. Fabulous music...🎤🎶🎸🎹
Bless you giving drummers some love. ❤❤
Jeff Porcaro probably the finest drummer of his time. The music world is a lesser place without him.
what a fun live band. they really work with the crowd at every show and bring in some great back up artists. There is a longer version where they go into a second guitar riff that blows it out of the water. Jeff Porcaro on drums remember these guys were studio musicians for dozens of other groups and songs.
Jeff Porcaro was a fantastic drummer and his snare work is amazing. I played this album so much I can still remember my younger sister yelling at me to turn it down. At age 61 I still really enjoy hearing this song never gets old. Great Memories!!!
Between the superb musicianship, the hook, and the impassioned vocals of Bobby Kimball, it's almost impossible to not love this song.
Bobby singing up there like he just got off work and is singing in a karaoke bar....king of ad libs!! Killer song I used to jam out to in the roller rink back in 1978 LOL!!
With those drum fills, I think you might be talking about the rapid fire kick drum, followed by a single snare beat. I think. Always love you reactions - you get into the whole song.
These guys played on literally hundreds of records before and even after they formed Toto. In fact, they formed Toto after running into each other so many times at sessions and deciding they should start their own band. Plus, several of the guys all grew up together and went to the same high school in Van Nuys
i just had an EARGASM!!!!!
Once in a while back in the 70's I would hear a song on the radio and decide then and there I had to go buy the album. This is one of those songs. ("I Need a Lover" by Johnny Cougar is another)
BTW the drummer is famous for creating the "Rosanna Shuffle" for the song "Rosanna". It's genius and has been borrowed and copied countless times since.
TOTO - " GEORGY PORGY " (Official Video) 1978 Classic featuring Background Vocals by CHERYL LYNN - also a famous singer with an awesome voice. 🎸 🎹 Recommend this song too
Owned this song on a 45 ,circa 1978! Toto’s first of many hits!
I want my ‘70s and 80s!!!!!!!! ❤
Steve Porcaro kills it on the drums . Listen in particular to his bass / kick drum foot on this song . It is Crazy Good ! 🙂
Wow, such great music from these guys! Thanks Shawn. Blessings all.
TOTO.... Rosanna !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oficial video
To hell with Rosanna, Angela much better
GREAT song! They do it perfect! You were LOVING this one! 😀 And so was I!
A fantastic group that was overflowing with talent! Their songs still play in our home on a regular basis-at high volume of course. Simply a magnificent group!
I still have both their debut album, as well as "Toto !V" on vinyl!!! A favorite band of mine! Impossibly catchy, interesting and ROCKING songs!
I can't even tell you how much I love the ENTHUSIASM you show, and the JOY you seem to be feeling!!! Thanks for the continued great reactions! I look forward to your vids every day!!!
Hope you had a fantastic birthday, from someone who is BOTH a fellow Texan, AND a fellow Cancerian!!! (7/19)
Now this is what you call good music I miss the 80s and 90s
This is the definitive corporate rock song. 🏄♂️
Such a fabulous song!
Much like The Doors, this band has so many talented members that it was destined for greatness!
One if the best oldies ever!!! That piano keeps me dancin! So happy you reacted to this!!!
Toto is so good & this song is great…good choice Shawn!👍👏👏👏♥️
TOTO one of the greatest BAND OF THE HISTORY !!! R.I.P. JEFF PORCARO ( DRUMMER )
All the vocalists in this group were great and they all get turns on many great songs, and they all sound a lot similar,so you switch lead vocals but harmonies will always be great
I always look forward to your reactions! I love them!
I agree! Great reactor! I think the best!
Steve Lukather (guitarist) is the Michael Jackson “Beat It” guitarist and riff writer (Eddie Van Halen played the solo).
First single from their Debut album. What a way to introduce yourself !!
The great Jeff Porcaro on drums 🎤drop.
This band was top notch.
Great song
Great song and reaction
I love Zach Galifianakis playing the piano one handed at the intro !
Lol, lol !
Prayers for Bobby...
My two favorites by Toto are between "Hold The Line" & "Africa"
I LOVED THIS ONE WHEN IT WAS RELEASED!!!!!
Ah. Love this song, it gave me hope that there was a new hard-rockin' band showing up in the 80s. ironically, it turned out to be the only Toto song I can stand to listen to.
❤️❤️❤️
You should check out St. George and the Dragon from Hydra. I don’t think it gets a lot of love but the guitar solo is epic and has always been a fave of mine.
That piano player's arms must hurt like a SOB having to constantly bang on the keys the whole song!
lets do this!
Great song and reaction♥
Check out “99” by them
#bobbykimball🎤
……hard to believe they also have a masterpiece “Africa” diverse band ❤

In my mind this is still the best song they did tho plenty of good ones true professional musicians
Jack Black did a great job singing this.
