I couldn't agree more! I definitely like this series "It Started With A Kiss" and "They Kiss Again" more than any other version of Itazura na Kiss. Joe Cheng plays Zhi Shu fantastically real, so you can see Zhi Shu's personal & professional growth throughout both series, especially in this episode (11) where he comes to grip with his true feelings for Xiang Qin & his jealousy for her. And Ariel Lin excels at bringing Xiang Qin to life & maturity, especially in this episode (11) when she finally confronts Zhi Shu with his seeming indifference & lack of love for her. Ariel Lin is a MASTER at REAL tears! They were both able to bring vulnerability, stubbornness & real humanness to their characters - which I felt were lacking in other versions. This is just my humble opinion. Thanks for reading.
It is what should've gone down in the Japanese series, but they completely blew it off. Kotoko was treated like trash the whole time and even her own friends and family members didn't respect her enough. But I love how this scenario was treated in the Taiwanese and Thai series both.
I actually like how Zhi Shu A Jin become friends from love rivals. One more great thing about this drama is, every boy or girl who enters their lives find their true love and go away. No persistent annoying villains like short dramas❤

I think i watch this for 20 times for the past 11 years
The japanese version was satisfying when Kotoko screamed at Naoki but here the father beat up the husband which is more intense!!!
