We are Tony and Jane and we are living in and renovating our old Relais De Poste/Coaching Inn.
We live in the middle of France in a region called The Berry.
We have over 40 rooms to renovate so there is plenty of work to be done. We also love to trawl the local Brocantes, flea markets and antique shops for quirky furnishings and furniture.
We love to find out about local history and often visit other peoples buildings including our friends’ Chateaux.
I have been meaning to write to you for many months. My husband passed away a year ago. Tony’s skills remind me so much of him. We, as you also, did many projects together. While missing him greatly, watching you two together has brought me much peace and contentment. Just wanted you to know that you bring joy to many for many reasons. Thank you, thank you. Melissa

I've been watching some of Patrick RUclips when you Tony pop in to see him. I think that must've been lucky day when you two went round there he would be lost without you and I'm positively thinking that Tony is an angel in disguise is something wonderful isn't he? Definitely

Hi Jane and Tony, I really missed your vlogs Jane. I love listening to you talking about your garden and all the different things you plant, you certainly have green fingers and very knowledgeable about all the different plants. You look after yourself and enjoy sitting on your new bench that Tony has made. 😘

Good morning Jane, I was not aware that you were feeling a bit under the weather, I do hope you will recover fully. You should take care, I had the flue and it took 3 weeks for it to clear, plus there were still the odd days when I thought, you were really ill to still have these relapses. Do take care, we only have one life!! Make the most of it!! In more ways then one 🤣I did not think much of the majority of goods at that Brocante. I wonder where the sellers pick up some of the stuff? You have nice ideas re the rejuvenating of the piece of soil, flowers always are a treat to the eye. It is Saturday morning and I suppose I must make a move to get things sorted and done. Oh pansies will also look lovely in the new patch. Plant anything that will not give more work later on. at the brocante where you picked up a dog sculpture.. there was a cow bell, like mine.. Plain rectangular with rounded sided.. with a long strip handle at the top to put the leather through... Try ringing one of those.. you can hear it from acres away!

I’m really sorry you haven’t been feeling well I totally can relate I picked up this little cold and have respiratory issues since. I’ll be damn if I can make it through Covid and a flu epidemic to be done in by some cold…
