99% of laptops can use 2 monitors, I hook my laptop up to my 60" TV all the time to watch movies.

It's like 6 million pixels, 2 million (like 1080p) less than 4K. Most of the laptops can easily run 4K (for productivity or entertainment, not for gaming ofc).
You can plug 4 4096x2304 monitors into it. One ultarwide is not much in comparison.

I don't have bunk-beds and there is barely any room in the middle.
This is not only good for dorm rooms. There's also good information for those of us who live in one bedroom apartments that have to cram an office into the bedroom.

I can't believe they make two guys live in that tiny room! My dorm room was every bit of twice that size, I guess each university is different. You've got some great looking stuff in there, but a 55" TV in that size room kind of seems like visual overload to me, but to each his own I guess. Look forward to seeing it "all prettied up!"

Dude this is awesome. I'm a first year at Carolina living in Ehaus right now too and I've got a similar setup-- 13" 2015 Macbook Pro, Samsung 28" 4K Monitor, Logitech 5.1 Surround Bluetooth speakers, Razer Mouse, Apple Wireless keyboard, Xbox 360.
Nice seeing a fellow tar heel succeeding on youtube. I hated the rooms in Craige. Ram Village is definitely more comfortable, I'd recommend it. I have enough room for my PC on my desk, my TV and PS4 fit a lot better on the drawer that comes in the room. But I like how you managed to maximize your setup with the horrible rooms in the freshmen dorms. Although living off-campus is a great choice as well! Good luck in this new Spring semester. Go Heels!!!
Just a suggestion since I've already gone through college. If possible put your bed where your desk is and put the futon underneath your bed then the storage bins on each side of your desk it should give you much more room.

I'm the same age as you and this year I spent a bunch of planning and time and money on building a nice dorm setup. It turned out awesome and then probably about 3 months into my first semester I tried to drunkenly climb into my super tall bed and fell. When I fell I yanked my desk from the wall which ruined all of my cable management stuff and ripped my LED strip on the back.
Also I have that exact same watch box at 1:09

Everyone concerned about the bed and tv, there are bars across the bottom of the beds which prevent them from going too far down. The tv is safe. We did that in my dorm my 1st year at UNC.

Have you reviewed the Philips SHP 9500(S) before? I have two pairs and I'd love to hear your opinions on what some people see as the best headphones for even sub $200 (Z reviews compared it to sennhieser HD 600s). And also pitch it against other contendors, like the Status Audio OB-1 and others. That would be interesting to see.

Why don't you build a PC to go in there? You could do an SFF build in something like the fractal design node 202 and just stick it in that area behind the monitor.

At UNC (where he goes) housing contracts are 1 academic year (fall and spring semester). I can't speak for other universities, but I assume most are like this.
