If Delta is successful, I feel like they could do it as DLC instead of just ignoring it and going straight to PW (Y'know, if they're remaking the games in timeline order)
I could see them adding it as a bonus, but since it’s not canonically part of the Metal Gear timeline they wouldn’t have it as a proper remake. I love Portable Ops for having Frank Jaeger but unfortunately Kojima made it an unofficial game.
@@jammin2575 Its canonicity is debatably, but it is considered still a side game regardless if it is 100% canon it would still be treated as such like how twin snakes by Kojima's own words is a valid interpretation of mgs1 and part of saga it is still sidelined unfortunately
I like Portable Ops better than Peace Walker imo Portable Ops lets me play as Para-Medic and EVA while Peace Walker won't even let me play as Paz or Cecile. It would be really funny in PW to be running around as Paz gunning down guards left and right. She's just peacefully putting everyone to sleep!
In a perfect world we would have a game with the shooter and recruiting soldiers mechanics of Peace Walker along with the most classic gameplay of portable ops, sadly we do not live in that world (we have to pray that in the future they will remake both games if delta becomes a success, or at least a port in the master collection) 💀 edit: I forgot about mgs4 lmao💀

Hoping Portable Ops both arrives in Volume 2 of the Master Collection and then gets a remake to be properly introduced between MGS3 and Peace Walker.

I kinda prefer po cause of the level design, I do like the streamlined enemy recruitment and control scheme of PW tho
