ALAMAT's creative director Jason Paul Laxamana shared on Twitter snippets from the first practice of the original version of ALAMAT's "ILY ILY" with the caption:
"Seeing @Official_ALAMAT perform #AlamatILYILY on the @wish1075 Bus reminded me that ILY ILY was one of the early compositions of Alamat, when they were still eight and Lyca wasn't still featured. Here's their very first practice of the song back in 2021."

Just how I imagine the lines of Valfer would be as a Negrense tambien in Hiligaynon...but still Alas nailed it too in bisaya... both lines either bisaya or hiligaynon , I still understand and felt the message of the song.. Madamo gd nga salamat sa sini nga kanta
Typical po ba sa sa mga Hiligaynon speakers na maka understand din ng Cebuano? Ganun din kasi kasama ko dito sa trabaho haha Hiligaynon speaker sya pero nakakapag salita din sya ng Cebuano and Karay-A din daw galing talaga haha samantala ako Tagalog lang alam 😢

For me not all Negrense/Ilonggo can understand and speak Bisaya. But maybe because alot of similar words we share with them that's why we can understand them. Same goes with Kinaray-a which is very similar ( which I can understand and speak a little as well) to hiligaynon. And living in Negros Occidental we speak more on Hiligaynon but Cities near Negros Oriental speaks mix with Bisaya. And It is quite useful and sort of an edge if you can speak and understand both. But it is more important as a Filipino to know how to speak Tagalog. Through this we can talk and connect to our Kababayan eventhough they did not speak our native language. After all Pinoy tayo...

@@catliyamaesobusa558 Yeah I agree, Tagalog is the language the unites us and make us Filipinos. Pero nakakainggit din kasi kaming mga Tagalog yun lang alam namin and English unless na mag effort talaga na matuto ng iba pang language. Ndi katulad nyo na non Tagalog natives meron pa kayong sariling language, parang may advantage kayo kesa sa amin haha 😂

but don't put your self down. Always remember there are always lesser and greater person than your self. To be honest it is also hard for us to speak Tagalog especially the fact that our accent get in the way that you'll know we are from different province. Nakakahilo minsan but g lang.
@@catliyamaesobusa558 That's fine... Everyone has their own accent. We Batangueños have our own accent as well and are known to be the loudest that other people would think that we are quarreling with each other but that is just how we talk haha.
It's already impressive that you can speak Tagalog so don't worry about the accent as long as it's understandable haha. Maayong Adlaw!

I hope maybe one day makakanta Rin nila ito nang buo Sila (with GAMI and Valfer) I'm not quite sure tho if that will about to happen again but I believe in Manifestation.
