Can get more hairdressing equipment in the back seats and boot!
@@ElectricVehicleMan I have looked on autotrader and a Fiat 500e la prima 42kw can cost £39,495 new. There is an identical one, less then 20 months old for sale privately for £18,995.webuyany car valued it at £14,010.If I had one I would put a load of cash on the back seat and chuck the £294 WEEKLY depreciation out of the window !

£20k - 🤷♂️
And the Abarth isn’t the 500 in same terms.
@@ElectricVehicleMan so how come after 17 years of trading this company has a net worth of £25 million according to companies House ?
@@tonyireland2234 Because idiots exist in the world.
And those desperate to sell asap.
EVs do not need a fake fossil burner noise. Just get on with being FASTER, quieter and better than the ICE version
It’s a Vegan Arbarth. How quick is it when you don’t mention the stats.
I compare this to the original 500e only sold for California etc.
I'd much rather that car. Lighter, simpler, less emphasis on posh pretentiousness.
The California one was heavier, slower, 40% less range, twice slower AC charging and no fast charging.
No mate, all of us hate the fake audio!
This car will be a disaster - 120 mile range and a £11K premium. Not a chance in hell it will sell.
My daughter would wet herself. Lovely colour. xx
Thank you, I've just got a tan from holiday!
@@ElectricVehicleMan Not you, it ! xx
@@ElectricVehicleMan :)))
Same trousers for years !
Look at the car, not my crotch!
Having the simulated engine noise externally, will make it safer for pedestrians and other motorists. Being able to hear something coming is a good thing.
think all EVs have to have sound generators
Still to hear the slightest evidence that a lack of engine noise is a danger.
If you inside it you wouldn’t feel a thing
@@janlojko5228 Again, there has never been the slightest evidence that lack of engine noise has made EV's more dangerous to pedestrians. It could well be that that EV drivers are aware their cars are quiet in car park situations and take extra care (as opposed to assuming you can be heard and the peasants will get out of the way) and anything over about 18mph (30kph) tire noise drowns out engines anyway.
@@mikebreen2890I agree the fact that they can just burst into flames is more worrying 😂😂
Sorry couldn't listen anymore, got to about half way. That annoying noise from the car's speaker was just too much, perhaps next car that has that option, turn it off whilst recording the commentary?
We did.
@@ElectricVehicleMan Oh really? my bad then, must have been a case of once I heard it I couldn't not hear it
It gets turned off at 12:46.
MG4 XPOWER
wtf is that sound on the outside.
Where can you upload your own sounds pack?! TO insert some of those warp reactor sounds from star trek or whatever else you might fancy. There are audio artists that create such things.Jingles, and sound packs
The price is not good
Is abarth actually fiat or is it a sister brand with similar cars? Looks much like a Fiat 500
buy a used i3s instead....
Way too expensive at 42k for the cabrio version..in the real world if pushing it only get 100/120 miles range ..They are apparently getting rid of the petrol version Abarth massive mistake
42k for the top spec cabrio, not just for the cabrio.
@ElectricVehicleMan All models ain't that cheap ..Beautiful car though 👌
Like your vids but why on earth would I subscribe to see them earlier? Fridays fine. It's not a breaking news channel. I had one of the original Fiat 500s. The real one with the 2 cylinder air cooled engine in the back. As wide as it was long. Zero to sixty, unavailable.
Subscribing doesn’t get them earlier, members do.
As well as members only vids occasionally and live stream.
Like anything, it’s optional!
Just what we need, an EV with a really annoying sound, far too loud and I'm sure the perfect car Sunday morning driving to wake up the neighbours and over priced .....
Mini will always be better than Fiat/Abarth and doesnt look like an egg. The only negative of an F56 Mini design are its oversized taillights.
The Mini electric looks like a mini one.
That’s it’s problem.
@@ElectricVehicleMan ..and like all minis, look like they have been kicked up the backside!
Wrong colour. Red or black and the half closed dolly eyes are ridiculous on a supposed hot-hatch.
mg 4 xpower is more of a hot hatch.
Making an EV sound like a petrol engine is so frigging dumb. At least do it with a sense of humour, letting people choose the sound to pretend their engine is cat powered, or a flying saucer or something.
Mg4 easy! 50:50 weight distribution and it's quicker than this 😂. Mg se SR will do 0-100 in 6.9 seconds (GPS) which is quicker than advertised!
Too small to be of any use, for me.
Wouldn't pee on one if it was on fire 🔥,
Which might well happen
MG4X, tweak the handling and regen dialled up for same money
Fiat will literally b shaking in its wake passengered in a std ice 500 fee days ago...yikes, bit like a jelly with little structural rigidity..
Cant wait to try the X after Lichfield or similar do some minor sub £3k tweaks :)
Passengered in a what?

.yes, I know it's not aligned with current testing goals
Kia niro ev that's what you want
The fake engine noise is awful
It sounds like a muzzled bee wearing a face mask.
