i dont think so. Tsunade with all of her healing powers wasn't able to even reliably treat Lee after using an incomplete gate technique. Maybe Mitotic cell regeneration could work? But I guess the nature of the eight gates and it changing your whole chakra wouldn't work well with the amount of fine control needed? Naruto shows some powers (like creating a new eye out of nowhere) that seems to surpass mitotic cell regeneration. But maybe it could work with partial gate release?

I assume wood release is related or derived from the divine tree. I would think wood release is made up of water, earth, and yang release since it creates life (plants/trees). The chakra absorption characteristic is definitely a plus.

it's not that simple really. it takes skill, and also things like human puppets(sasori) and making a puppet while retaining that person's jutsu including kekkei genkai and such. for example the 3rd kazekage's iron sand and the puppet he had which had the sharingan(one of the hundred puppets he had)
And/or it would be really cool to see him go through all his puppets (counting his Red Secret Technique: Performance of One Hundred Puppets as one) and their origins

The thundercloak was mostly made like any other you know charging of chakra however adding lightning release to it. The lightning surge through their body and increase their reaction time depending on how much lightning chakra they put in it. You can determine by the amount their hair spikes up and the lightning going through it similar to super sayian 2.

Wood release should be kekkei tota of Earth, Water and Yin-Yang releases and a subset of Creation of all things technique. As Hagoromo was able to create things out of nothingness with Yang and breath life in it with Yin release. Earth and Water combined is simply Mud release.

This is a little bit of speculation in my part, but when you think about it, wood release is the closest transformation to natural energy (AKA senjutsu). This is the only nature that is able to create organic structures capable of transporting chakra, which sort of resembles how natural energy behaves on one's body and would also explain why wood release is able to supress chakra. Yamato already showcased that he can create entire ecosystems and landscapes with just this nature, and hashirama can enter sage mode with very ease and use it incredibly well. At least for me, things actually fit well.

im not sure thats true. As far as I know Naruto has two ways of accessing chakra natures besides wind: 1) by borrowing chakra from a tailed beast that is able to use this nature 2) using the sage of six paths chakra manipulation. But I'm pretty sure the second power disappeared after they sealed Kaguya. At least in the Manga you can see both his and Sasukes sign disappear and none of them ever used any technique connected to that again. Probably both of them still have some amount of connection to that power (Naruto through the tailed beast chakra and sasuke through his rinnegan) - but I don't think thats enough for Naruto to just control every element at will.
I think that wood release is a version of the divine tree power. It's wood, and it has that chakra suppression thing that makes me really think it's basically the same, just relative in power to the user

You forgot to mention that Yamato used a tracking wood style jutsu as well that allowed him to track a target down no matter how far away they got or what jutsu they used to stealth themselves. It was that tracking seed and he used it in combination with the literal ability to merge himself with any form of wood, such as exposed tree roots, to be the best tracking ninja. All of this was because of his wood release chakra and did not require much of his chakra to use.

Please do a video on all the Teleportation and speed techniques Characters posses. Such as Body Flick, Kamui, Space-Time Jutsu etc. Characters including Minato, Tobirama, Hanzo, Shisui, 3rd and 4th Raiage, Obito, Sasuke etc.
1:10 I noticed that the only Wood Style jutsu Madara used in the anime were jutsu that he had already seen Hashirama use in at least the Final Valley. The fact that the base Sharingan allows one to observe and copy a jutsu’s hand signs adds to this.
Danzo was unable to perform any of the actual jutsu himself because he lacked the qualities that made the Hokage (in both senses), Yamato was personally trained by Danzo but lacked the Chakra levels needed for the terraforming, and by the time Obito was operational, Madara was dead and the former had to settle for Zetsu.
I guess there’s no beating the real deal.
Wouldn't it make more sense that wood release is earth combined with yang release? Especially since we've seen people combine earth and water to make mud release. It also makes more sense knowing that the Uchiha cast amatarasu by combining yin release with fire

One imbues their calligraphy(the art of writing) with chakra making the words/figures in their writing into a "seal" similar to the way a hand seal works to direct chakra but from the environment's chakra instead of the body's chakra (after the initial investment). The deep similarity between how the written on portion (often paper) conducts chakra versus how different each person's chakra system conducts chakra makes fuinjustu (sealing techniques) closer to a science than ninjutsu which probably changes slightly with each variation of the chakra system (which develops genetically). This can have a big impact on the viability of complex techniques, like space-time techniques (we see kekkai genkai/sharingan and fuinjustu based ones) as most people probably can't get the level of accuracy of chakra without one or the other consistently.

@@virtualify1016 please don't be dumb. Wood release is a kekkei genkai class because it is a combination of 2 nature transformations(water, earth) now when you say kekkei tota it is a nature transformation with a combination of 3 nature transformations. Dust Release for example.
I think part of the reason the wood release as Hashirama was using it was so potent was because it also involved a perfect control of yin-yang release. Unlike Yamato and other wood-users his jutsu usually created actual living trees rather than wooden planks. Needing the yin for form and the yang for life, that could go a long way into explaining exactly why this kekkei genkai is so rare and hard to master. Unlike the truth-seeking orbs though, which incorporate all chakra natures as well as yin-yang release, Hashirama's wood release would only need perfect control of earth and water alongside the yin-yang releases.
Also if you're still looking for topics, you could perhaps do one or two on the different jutsu available to Indra and Ashura descendants. Indra's descendants have the sharingan and all sorts of ocular jutsu, but I think it might just be possible that there are certain jutsu techniques that can be used by others but only mastered by those of Ashura's descent. It might just be my limited knowledge but the only people who mastered sage mode were all of Ashura's descend, aside from Kabuto who basically cheated to get it by injecting god knows what into himself. Another example could be the flying raijin jutsu of which the only two proficient users were Tobirama and Minato, whilst other high-level ninja had to group and take significant preparations just to use it once. Maybe Ashura's descendants have the only bodies that are able to fulfill the requirements of mastering those high-level jutsu?
And yet we still don't know why hashirama is the only one with wood style

Kekkei Genkais don't work like that. The ability to combine nature types is only possible by having a Kekkei Genkai. It's not possible to internally combine chakra natures if you don't have that specific Kekkei Genkai. I hope that kind of made sense.

The craziest thing I've seen done with wood release was in the Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 and 4 video games, but I'm pretty sure that Hashirama could pull this off with his regular on screen abilities as well. It was one of his ultimate jutsu in both games. It's on the same level of craziness as Sasuke's blaze release planetoid explosion in Storm 4. First he beat his opponent down within the bringer of darkness genjutsu. Then, he uses deep forest emergence to trap them within a giant tree. He then proceeds to light the tree on fire and blow it up with his opponent trapped inside. How exactly are you suppose to stop that!
Moegi (Konohamaru's teammate) also naturally inherited wood release without needing Hashirama cells "at least, as far as we know". She is never shown using it but we know she has It.

They don't need to make science the end all be all, but they also neglected its true potential.

Maybe Part 1 Naruto would fit that description better(but not by much), but Naruto doesn't have too much connection(even as exaggeration) with the things you mentioned. The furthest it goes is probably by taking inspiration from those things. Anyway, at the end of the day, it's a fantasy world first and foremost, science always takes a backseat in a fantasy world. Not to mention that it's Kishi's decision at the end of the day as for deciding how things work.
From what I've read, I don't think you know much about Buddhism, Shintoism, and their esoteric extensions.
Everything from Naruto's main story and I mean EVERYTHING is a wrapped interpretation from 3 sources, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Japanese Myth.
Some highlights include but are not limited to:

-The Japanese myths around Susanoo and his sisters are all over the Naruto story line
-The cross roads between Hinduism & Buddhism explain the exact limitations of the rinnegan
You're correct that I don't know much about those religions. However, assuming you do know a decent amount about them, you've just proven me right. As I said before, Naruto has taken inspiration from those religions and myths. If it was, as you said, a "modern interpretation" we'd be seeing a lot more influences from those things. But instead, we see concepts and ideas that are inspired by or based around these religions. For example, Amaterasu(in Naruto) is named after the deity of the same name. The deity is seen as a goddess of the sun and the universe. We see the Amaterasu of Naruto's world take inspiration from this myth by having it's power be an inextinguishable fire(which is obviously based on the sun's properties).
Now, I'd be willing to accept myself being wrong if you could bring up where exactly the religions you mentioned largely factor in the story, and I mean a large factor, not just inspiration.
One thing I've noticed about Wood Release that could explain it's power is the fact that it makes *living things*. None of the other nature transformations do so, besides YinYang. Even Yang Release by itself hasn't actually been shown to do so, only stated that it's based around such a feat. However, this leads to my next point as to why Hashirama in particular was so skilled with it - He inherited the Sage of Six Path's body, aka his "Yang" energy. Earth+Water+Yang=OP. The Yang also besides giving more vigorous life to his Wood Release (basically super MiracleGrow lololol), it also explains his ability to heal so quickly and fully (don't forget his kekkei genkai is life-bearing Wood on top of that so he could "grow" himself back naturally anyways, just as only his DNA could be used to make artificial limbs for other shinobi), AND his Sage mode mastery without any known teaching - because he HAD nature energy in him, much less amassing it into Sage mode (and also makes his Wood, which is obviously part of NATURE lol, that much more powerful when using said Sage mode aka NATURE energy!). I think another interesting aspect is that wood release is essentially an ability to create life. Unlike the many other chakra combinations, such as lava, ice, dust, magnet etc, trees are actual lifeforms. So when Hashirama makes a gigantic tree golem he actually creates a life form to fight for him, unlike when Ōnoki creates a stonegolem that he has to fully manipulate to actually move because stone isn't alive in any sense of the word.
This might enhance their capability.

You would assume so, but in the end all it seemed to do was amp up naruto's regen abilities (as if they werent broken already to begin with)

However Naruto does have the 6 paths power after the 4th shinobi war giving him every element to master and yang energy ( which is kind of essential. ) Sooo in theory he could use wood style but i guess Kishimoto thought it would be pretty op..

This is my hypothesis for how wood release surpresses chakra: Chakra is made up of spiritual energy, and wood release is kind of like natural energy since... well, wood is in the trees and stuff. There's probably enough energy inside the wood wood release creates so it counteracts chakra, therefore making chakra surpressed.

When you get to scorch release, please compare it to amaterasu. I thought amaterasu was the strongest fire style jutsu(not including variations), but scorch release kills on impact. Your videos are great by the way.
What I wanna know is why hashirama is the only one to naturally be born with wood release. It is OP as heck so it makes sense for there to only be one. Also I want to see how he discovered his wood release, like some kind of filler episode of him discovering it.

The reason Wood release is “OP” is and can do the shit it can like suppress Tailed beasts is because it’s the closest thing to Nature(Sage) chakra.
It alone is not the strongest Kekkai genkai. It’s just that Hashirama + Sage mode + Ashuras life energy. Make Hashiramas cells near godlike.
Hashirama himself is the strongest, not his Wood style. His cells are sought after for its strong healing and power boost. Wood style is just a side effect.
Hashirama's type of wood is the same as the Divine Tree: it drains chakra (probably at a very high rate since he put Kurama to sleep in a few seconds)

The reason I've always assumed that Wood Release was capable of suppressing chakra is because that's where chakra came from in the first place, the Shinju tree and subsequently the Juubi, both of which are seemingly made of wood, and since that's where chakra originated, apparently in Kishimoto's mind at least, that means it has power over chakra.
Here is a theory: THe reason wood release is badass and rare is probally something like the woods are somehow connected to the god tree the one kaguya ate the fruit from and the reason its rare is because wood release is probally something like water+earth+Yang chakra. Since yang chakra is physical form something like that. With the yang earth water and some chakra from the god tree hashirama can use wood release...FYI: THEORY JUST A THOERY

Even though this is never stated I always thought it was so powerful because trees are living things which posses a chakara and therefore the wood release has a nutural infused chakara within the wood that is created. It is like a way of creating a sort of life.

It's not that Hashirama's chakra was endless, it's that he was a regenerator and used his senjutsu to strengthen his mokuton.
Madara actually does exceed Hashirama in wood release since he becomes the new sage of six paths and takes complete control of the shinju and it's roots, making them wrap around everyone in the world. He probably could have gone beyond hashirama and used the mokuton on the bijuus as well when he was revived, but he seemed to imply it was ungraceful for he to use it on them since it wasn't his jutsu, which was why he used the Limbo instead.
If you want to know the secret behind mokuton everyone, I'll tell you. It's not written in stone, but is heavily implied that Hashirama uses his life force, aka a third form of energy to power the mokuton. I created this theory out of the fact that the mokuton is alive unlike any other kekkei genki, which would more or less actually make it a kekkei tota. I also believe overuse of either the mokuton or regenerating is either one reason or the sole reason hashirama died prematurely, because he exhausted his life span. Similar concepts surface in the series to support it, including the mangekyou causing blindness and sickness, rasenshuriken destroying Naruto's chakra network and risking his life span due to his rapid healing by kurama, Tsunade rapidly aging and going into a coma from overuse of the byakugou, and of course, the eight gates, which slowly break and burn up the body.
I think due to how powerful it was was the reason Kishimoto didn't give it to Naruto. Plus, he probably wanted it to symbolize Hashirama, and Hashirama's clones and mokuton were used as plot by the main antagonists.
Cool theory, especially in the explaining why Hashirama died prematurely, but I don't see that explanation working very well. Also, technically, chakra is the life force of everyone in the Naruto universe so I guess you're kind of right there. Not to mention that Yang release(or was it Yin) was described as being able to breathe life into objects. I wouldn't necessarily classify it as a Kekkei Tota but I'd say that it's feasible to believe that Yang release is somewhere involved in Wood Release.
I like batman why does it not work? chakra isn't life force, it's a powerful alien energy given to humanity through the ootsutsukis and Shinju that is connected to stamina and life force so if the chakra is reduced to zero, it will take the connected life energy with it. and it seems implied that the shinju created chakra by sapping earth's nature energy and converting it into it.

I think the idea of why wood style is good other than the whole chakra suppression thing is that wood is easier to manipulate than something like stone and doesn’t need as much chakra enhancement to have a lot of force behind it as wind or water. It’s sort of like magnet release but you don’t have to bring your own sand of whatever material you control since you can instead spend some extra chakra to grow the wood
