Vulva Valoo a.k.a. Deborah Miscovich, born 1924, died 1962 parents were poverty-stricken immigrants who came to Ohio and eked out a meager existence as haberdashers. Deborah left the haberdashery at 16 in 1940 and assumed the stage name "Vulva Valoo", she never looked back.
She was born in Ohio, but REARED in New York
I had the privilege of seeing her perform at The Dexter Lake Club in 1956. It was the type of performance where nobody left their seat unattended.

Most of you out there don't know it, but Vulva Valoo was also a talented nightclub performer. My uncle caught her famous "Disappearing Vegetables" act in Hoboken, in about '64 I think it was. Hell, he was talking about it to his dying day. RIP to Onkel Heinrich (Uncle Henry) and also to the great VV herself.
