Probably the best in depth tutorial i've seen for any beginner!
Lord FRESCO Preciate that. This was definitely for the beginner phase. And to be honest I gave more than I normally would have for the beginner stage, but waves wanted me to give you all detail. Thank you for tuning in for sure! 🙏🏽🦅
Check out helpmedevvon. Thank me later
U need to look into mixing vocals more

A1...you know a man means business when he jumps from the booth to behind the desk to get the track completed #DedicatedToTheArt
Loux exactly another reason I got into engineering too...! Salute... Preciate you watching...
Respect! Rarely seen artists who mix their own songs and do it so well. Simplicity is key!
really? lol
@@mixbymariusmixbymarius1650 the "do it well" part is rare ;)
@@andiherzog No it's really not lol... And if you think this video goes under "do it well" i think you have very low standards brother..
@@andiherzog Don't let that guy's negativity discourage you... I don't care what song you do, everybody is not going to like it. All you can do is produce it, mixing it and mastering it the way you feel it, or the artist you're producing. Enough said!!!!
MixByMarius you don’t have to like it homie. As Demetrice pointed out, everyone won’t like everything. All we as artists can do is do what WE consider good and put it out. Waves audio thought it was great, which is why they wanted me to come aboard. Either way, I appreciate ALL OF YOU for tuning in. PS. Marius I work wit legends... do you? Peace and blessings everyone! 🦅

Makinoize Media Preciate you for tuning in.. a lot of people use their vocal chains differently but as long as u can make it clean... you know how that goes. 💪🏾!
I find with vocals if I EQ before compression then I hardly need a deesser. But either way there's no rules.

@@RENEGADEELREY didnt know u had a channel. Subbed 👍
Ariana Grande's vocals be like: 24 harmony stacks in the hook. I wonder how complicated is it to mix pop vocals.
A lot of times engineers use some type of harmony engine. So a lot artist don't have to actually sing all those harmonies.
@@A_Class216 I know there's vocoders and all that. But I watched a video of Ariana Grande's mix session couple years ago and the chorus was a long stack of individual takes.
@@MilezAwxy oooo. Yea that would probably be hell to mix
@@A_Class216 It mighn't be too bad once you buss them down . Creating the individual balance initially is probably a pain but once its done its done ahah
Grouping is key
it's no wonder that some engineer specialize in mixing vocals only
Nice 🔥
Lloyd Trimble Preciate it! Thanks for watching... 🦅🦅
Dope tutorial my bro. Just a tip you can look into the pre-delay setting on the r-verb to allow for some of the initial dry vocal to cut through first then the reverb kick in shortly after.
Travo DBL fasho! Preciate the tip and Preciate you for tuning in! 🦅 several ways to go about it all. Never too far along to find new ways. 🙏🏽

Thank u
YOUNG ARSON No doubt! Thank you for tuning in.
Excellent presentation. I would argue that these lessons apply to other genres, too.
Also, although Waves plugins work well (and I own and use many shown in this video), one can easily accomplish great results with stock or free plugins.
Love the H-delay, though. The HP and LP filters are great.
Yeah it doesn't matter what brand or type of plugin you use but if you don't understand how to actually use it then it's a waste
MixingGBP Much respect. I agree with you! I use stock plug-ins on the daily as well. It’s all about color and which crayon, color pencil, or other tool you choose to use. 🙏🏽🦅
