I like how LEGO is starting to focus more on the hospital and construction sub genres again cause I’ve always liked those sets, although its a shame that the construction sets are EXTREMELY overpriced (or at least in New Zealand)
This upcoming wave has a couple construction and the +4, super annoying that they mix +4 with regular city sets if you ask me!
@@yetterlingBut I still want police sets back🥺😂😂Lego city is amazing especially since summer 2021 onwards but they should keep atleast 1 police set (not that me Or anyone would buy it but just so that it exists so we can look at it) 😁😁😁
In my opinion, the Lego City sets are getting better in terms of value and build experience because Chris Stamp recently moved from the Lego Speed Champions team to the Lego City theme. By the way, the lego speed champion sets that were released when Christopher Stamp was in charge were AMAZING!
Interesting! I’ll have to do some digging! >:3 I will say I hope that doesn’t mean all vehicles will become sports car/muscle car themed. I personally love when there’s simple average sedans. 🚘 :3
2020-2021: LEGO City Adventures, SO many Police and Fire sets, low piece counts for high prices
2024-2025: More detailed, interesting, and somewhat realistic sets that go well in a cityscape
My only complaint is the 4+ sets shouldn’t count to the city line up and just be its own sub theme. which perhaps I’ll make a video on!
@@yetterling Juniors existed for a reason
@@ManAetherslime14 completely forgot about that, is that why we’re seeing more 4+ sets in city? I’m quite uneducated on the junior stuff
@@yetterling😂
2021 summer is where Lego City started coming back on track to very good sets
Wow when you compare it like that Lego has really kept the value over the years for smaller $10ish sets (non licensed themes)
I definitely think city has improved overall, but yea I don’t have much to say for licensed sets Sense I don’t normally get those.
I really like all the City Sports cars. All the recent cars have been amazing.
I’m warming up to some, I’m more into average stock looking cars c: but this upcoming red sports car is super neat!
Old Lego sets has a soul 🤷♂️
They definitely have character :3
So do the new ones, but I see what ya mean
Lego seems to have had a comeback from 2021-22, the road plates really ruined things in terms of unique design and they were terrible value
100%, i get the idea of them, but like for me it's the size ofthem. Most vehicles they make are generally larger too, the old plates worked well i thought.
@@yetterlingLego has brought the road plates back in 2025, in the bridge racing set. It's good to have them but just that they should keep prices down for them😅
What did you think of the 2012 4431 ambulances? That one was a good design, I unfortunately don’t have that one.
I actually never knew about this one as much as I was out of my Lego phase at its launch. Looking back it seems to be right before they added all the new elements that shifted the designs out of the boxy/blocky look, for example: 60017. From the looks of it the grille is a sticker which isn’t something I’d prefer personally
Have you made South Park characters on sims or only the houses?
@@southparkyoutuber4559 just the houses so far!
