I like the way Rob navigates his career, after being a heartthrob in Twilight saga, he took various roles that so different, showing his versatility, not typecasted.
Yup great choice or decision for him but also the huge money he earned from twilight helps him

Zoe is 100% right. It IS because Rob is a good actor. After seeing films like The Lighthouse and Tenet, I was like "yeah, that- He's perfect for Batman!" LOL

@@VaclavSverkos he’s done more than a few and whether or not they were hits isn’t the point. He’s made great choices not just doing big budget films like the ones you listed but actually choosing smaller indie roles so he could develop his craft and show his range (the lighthouse, remember me, good time, high life, cosmopolis)
Yes! And now you see I lot of "ex teen stars" doing the same... Likes Zac Efron doing an thriller now, Dylan Obrien as well.. All great actors, but ppl don't take seriously cuz of previous teen movies or shows. I love see good actors evolve.
Rob finally being recognized for his talent (and his wit) might be the greatest modern real life arc completing before our very eyes. From the globally hated Edward from Twilight to the most beloved latest Batman. What a tour de force by him AND his agent!
Globally hated? Didn't those movies make 3 billion dollars just on the movies alone. Didn't it make him one of the highest paid male actors of the 2010? Didn't it put him on the radar if teen heartthrob? Just curious
also saying he's finally recognized for his talent is a bit of a stretch, i mean to this day twilight is probably his most recognizable role, but since then most if not all of his roles were quite serious, even if you'd think naturally he'd be casted as some fuckboys in romcoms or something like that

Pattinson is literally carrying one of the most important roles you can nab through all this, and still could not be more fun and excited and chill. his happiness with the project is infectious and even after seeing the film I keep coming back to these, because it truly feels like a once in a lifetime combo of character and actor, one that was meant to be. so proud of him.

They did a remarkable job. They made the tension between the two characters feel real. They really did so well and the movie was done right. I know a lot of people are surprised by the performances but I was excited to see what everyone would bring to the table. Amazing job.

I love that Giacchino and his score were brought up in the interview. Usually scores are weirdly absent from most press junkets

I think WB have that ready to go if this film does really well. Rob has said in multiple interviews stuff like "this is a great way to start what could become a series of films"
It has been green light to a full trilogy plus spin-off with the penguin and another show based of the gcpd

I wish I heard more from Zoe! She was so good in the movie! Questions seemed very skewed to Rob. Even the music question had some aspect of Rob in there and she didn’t really get to answer it before they moved on.

I just came home from the theater and my gosh they were both so good in their roles!
Just saw it last night. I thought it was a beautiful work of art. Like a painting at times.. -I thought Robert’s performance of Batman was still, aggressive, thoughtful, and intimidating. The soundtrack was indeed, perfectly theatrically epic and unique. - The whole environment, (Gotham) was so gorgeous and new looking/feeling. - I can’t wait to see what happens next. As a lifelong hardcore Batman fan, I’m thoroughly stoked. There are some really amazing things about this movie.

I wish interviewers would stop constantly comparing Rob's roles to Twilight!! For God's sake he's had so many amazing roles sense Twilight!! And even though I thought that he played Edward Cullen perfectly, that's definitely not his ONLY acting role he has had!! I mean, stop type casting the poor guy!! He's an amazing actor! All his roles he played so well!! Get off the Twilight train!!!

they were joking, but after seeing The Batman, i genuinely want the next film to be called The Catwoman, with Batman being the (nominally) second lead that is integral to her story as Catwoman was to his.

Saw this movie today. Here is my opinion: 100/10! Pros~ a lot of action, Gordon is in it a lot, and it’s a mystery! Cons~ not much of Bruce, mostly Batman, and not a lot of Alfred (me and my fam love Alfred lol)
But, I don’t watch DC a lot, I’m mostly a fan of the mcu, but, this movie was amazing!

@@Mrsjeagerjaques Similar german expressionism to the Burton Batman films, the fact it wasn't afraid to linger on shots despite the average for cutting away is now like 3 seconds, the mirroring of shots of The Batman and The Riddler kind of subconsciously making the comparisons between them that much stronger for that final conclusion Bruce comes to

Robert Pattinson absolutely made this Batman his and the advice he got by Christian Bale was absolutely great especially telling him to ignore the haters and name sayers because honestly he definitely made it his own.
