you so lucky to have the KLEC class Offline, during my time there it was all online , so after the level exam finish, we are meet up together . I was there from march 2020- feb 2022, and i take the KLEC Class in my early 6 months there
Thank you for your vlog! This is what I've been looking for around the youtube. I plan to join the class next year. Do you mind to share a little baout the your studio renting experience? It'll be very helpful for me, since I've been browsing in like the whole month now haha... Anyway what a great video!
Thank you so much! I'll start working on a video about how I went about finding housing ~ thank you for the idea! I hope you enjoy Sogang when you come next year 💛
@@beanjournee a video like that would be so helpful! I'm also planning to attend Korean classes at Sogang University and I'm a bit worried about the whole housing thing 😅
Thanks for uploading - im an Australian product manager who also plans to do the same thing! I want to go to Sogang to study to take a career break. Do you mind talking about why you moved to Korea and how you did it?
Such a cute vlog, I hope you're doing well~ Since I am also planning to attend Sogang KLEC I wanted to ask, do you like their way of teaching and do you feel like you're improving a lot? Alsooo, do you know if they let foreigners join regular clubs? 🤔
Thank you so much! 💕 I do like their way of teaching! Every teacher is different but I've been really fortunate to have good teachers so far. Everything is explained in Korean so it can be a bit confusing at times but the teachers do a great job of adjusting the lessons + grammar explanations to an appropriate level. I feel like I've improved quite a bit since I started and I can definitely say that my confidence speaking has increased. As for clubs, I'm not entirely sure! I know that they weren't opening clubs in my first two semesters due to restrictions. I've heard that for regular (non KLEC) clubs you have to be at least level 4 before they allow you to join. I hope you get the opportunity to attend Sogang! It's a really good program.
Hi! I've been looking on the videos about sogang University korean language and your video is one of the latest upload ive seen.. how are you doing there so far? I believed you are already on level 3-4?
Hi! I'm in level 3 this semester. I'm doing really well and enjoy the classes! My teachers have been amazing so far. Let me know if you have any questions about the program! I'd be happy to answer them for you💚
That's great to know! I've never been to korea but i am fascinated by the country, people and language for a very very long time. Studying and learning their language is specifically for my own personal knowledge or goal. Im just a little bit baffled bec. it's been a long2 time since i was in school or a class and thinking about it gives me anxiety on top of me being a little introvert as well.. so having a personal tutor or teacher also came to my mind. What can you say about it? Thankyou so much.. i appreciate the time you give through the response..
@@kimmieyap127 I often used a personal tutor I found on italki before coming to Korea! I really enjoyed it but also found the good teachers to be quite expensive for 1:1 lessons. 1:1 lessons were worse for my anxiety than a group class surprisingly! I'm also really introverted and most of my classmates are too! It actually makes the learning environment more comfortable because everyone understands that learning is a struggle. Both of my classes so far have been full of really kind, encouraging people. The teachers are also really great! They never put anyone on the spot and try their best to foster a fun and safe learning environment. There are a lot of students who have been out of university/school for quite a while. A lot of my classmates last semester were 30+ and hadn't been inside a school in over a decade! The classes are usually a good mix between young students + older students. I've never found it to be weird or uncomfortable. I hope you get the opportunity to come to KLEC if you're interested! It's a great experience and has helped my Korean quite a bit.
@@beanjournee wow. I appreciate your words.. this helps a lot with my thoughts.. and you are really lucky to have such a great class with teachers and students. Hope when you get a chance to upload again I'd be watching.. if stars aligned for me, i hope I'll be able to go there and study asap.. i know this isnt something lightly to consider. And preparations are also going to be tough. Thanks a lot!!!
hiiii :) I am planning on going to Sogang College of Media, arts and Science. Do you happen to know ayone majoring at Global Korean Studies there by chance?
Is it possible to join extra curricular activities or any opportunities to meet locals as a klec student? do you also think it’s possible to juggle remote work and studying?
Hi there! I think it's definitely possible to juggle remote work + studying. You would just need to be intentional with your time ~ Sogang offers a culture field trip each semester + extra classes but those are inside of the language school. There are plenty of opportunities to meet local students. There is a language exchange board where people often post to make new friends + join meetup groups. I've also seen several posters for joining clubs that appear to be from non KLEC students.
Hi there! I love your vlogs! I'm glad I found you heere! Suscribing~ You deserve much more subscribers!! I applied for the Fall Semester in Sogang. I hope I get in TT Can I add you on Instagram? ^^
