- hi again~ i'm back with a week in me life as a sogang university klec (korean language education center) level 6 student ^^
many people have reached out to me on instagram asking about my experience at sogang so i did this wiml vlog to try and encapsulate it a bit. what do you think? did you get an idea for what it's like? actually, i'm a bit slow when it comes to learning new things and vocab so i have to study every day at least 2 hours - most other students don't usually have to do that, i'm just dyslexic haha
would you want to see a video giving details and more info about my year and a half studying in seoul?

What is level 6 like at sogang? how much assignments, vocabulary, essays or presentations do you have?
This video was so nice to see a little insight to studying Korean in Seoul! I'm looking to study at Sogang university next March, on a working holiday visa! ☺I wondered if there are any school clubs/activities you can join there? Also, from the UK too ✨
hey! aw thank you so much, im glad it could offer some good insight 🖤 i was there during covid so club activities were paused by the uni, but my friends there now are able to join in all the regular uni clubs and are also able to start their own clubs too! when i was there, the kpop dance club was made and they performed at a graduation ceremony too!

Hi i just want to know something if someone can help..i need D4 visa if i want to apply for lamguage course..so when filling application i am selecting d4 ..is it the right thing to do? They keep asking for gurantee letter from a. Korean sponsor..how can i provide that when i dont know anyone there ?

Wow so nice video. I am thinking about going to Sogang language program as well, but I am afraid about the accommodation. How did you found it if I can ask you? Thank you for you help☺️
thank you •ᴗ• i had a very good experience at sogang - it's worth the money in my opinion, 100%! i wasn't staying in the accommodation, but in my own place outside campus near sinchon station.. however my friends who stayed there had a good experience overall ^^ there is a curfew i believe, but it's not too bad and my friends enjoyed their time in the dorms very much

I’m going to be in Korea for three months starting may and I’m so excited. But I’m not sure how I can make friends (especially since I’m not going to art school there 🥲)
if you wanna make korean friends it's possible to go to language exchange meetups (be careful for creeps tho please!!) and for foreigner friends, i had a lot of luck with bumble bff ^^
i'm gunna be back in seoul in july, maybe we could meet up?!

Hey! I really enjoyed your video and wanted to ask if those culture classes at Sogang are opional? I have many people join that and was wondering if I have to take that with the regular Korean class. And secondly, are all of your girlfriends from your class? I really wish to make girlfriends when staying in Korea (From this august), but so far I only met guy friends through language exchange apps. Thank you so much in advance! :)
hey! yes most of the girls are my friends from sogang ^^ they are all so lovely and cute right? please be careful with language exchange ‘friends’ on apps and things.. i heard many people had very bad experiences….
the culture classes are part of the syllabus and on the regular timetable so you don’t need to worry about signing up for special things heheh

@@jenrosierose Oh I'd love to, are you gonna be back in Korea soon? And yeah your friends seem so nicer! for now I will stay there until december but I'll be back in spring again hopefully :) Oh and so the culture class is obligatory? I was a little worried that I won't have much time if there is a daily culture class after the language class...
