Stevie LOVES doing duets---she's worked with some of the best in the business. Just google Stevie duets. But their styles are different, and their voices don't compliment each other. If Rod Stewart wouldn't rehearse, then he wasn't working well with Stevie. She rehearses everything. She's a professional when it comes to her music.

Love them both but separate entertainers Rod is Rod he is hot no matter what he is singing. Stevie is AWESOME love her with Fleetwood Mac!!!!

I have loved both these great performers, and how much their music was a part of my young childhood. But this collaboration is almost shocking in its awfulness, I wish I had not seen it.

I have tickets to see this concert on July 24th. I hope Rod has learned the lyrics to leather and lace by then... Anyway you go about it the two are legends and the mere fact that they still tour and give of themselves to their fans is something to be admired. These two have more musical talent in them than an entire fleet of today's so called musicians that either A) do not write or compose any of their music or B) are so intolerably ignorant that they do not bother to try and be true artists.
I think that Stevie Nicks is the one entertainer in history that has never come anywhere close to making an ass of herself by saying anything stupid politically or getting up on stage and looking ridiculous. What a classy woman.
Aint that something... No one grabbing their crotch, no ones butt hanging out, No one is nearly naked, and the dances are classy, and the song lyrics tell a story, and just 3 line repeats, and the artists are real artists, great.

I do however agree that their performing styles are so different and hard to get that chemistry going that makes duets work, or in this case, not work.
I agree there is simply no comparison of artists like Stevie and Rod when you consider Beiber or lady gaga are considered groundbreaking artists! Very few of today's artists have the talent of these two. Continued below

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this performance from seasoned professionals like this but with some venues the sound can be a problem the give away is the drummer playing behind a perspex screen some venues are just more suited to hosting live music
u no i have 2 say is that at there age we should just be happy 2 see the at all so what if 1 or the other messed up big deal there 2 getter and gave a great show hope thy still come 2 oklahoma we will show them some real love here

The thing is that she don't know how to dance and this is an upbeat song, Rod Stewart at least tries. Also although her style is mixed rock/jazz/blues/ many of her fan base are anti dance like most rock bands when Young Turks came out many of Stewarts fans burned his records they were anti disco dance music, you know Americans only, the rest of the world loved it.
First time Ive seen this clip embarrassing I thought Stevie handled this very well no connection between them at all and Rod far too busy reading TelePrompter cringeworthy.

My rock god and goddess! My 30 year dream to see them perform together, and I had the IMMENSE honor to actually recommend this to Stevie! Never thought it'd happen! Have to say, she puts herself INTO his song, where he looks TORTURED to be in HERS! But it does look like he had to DRAG her out to sing the duets! She really didn't look happy, I'm SURE there is DRAMA THERE. And DON, I totally agree with you. You will also NEVER hear Mr. Stewart mention politics &he is an American Citizen.

Maybe the likes of Adele, Norah Jones and a handful of other singers have this level of talent. Sadly the greatest musical talents of today have not lived to write heartfelt songs and are interested only in the almighty dollar; not the artistry if being a musician/performer. I know my hubby will getting lucky ater we see this show! LOL It will be quite a chemically stirring show even if their chemistry is a bit lacking! :O)
i think they were both drunk or stoned etc i mean look at they're eyes. it could be the lights shining in they're faces etc but the performance was very un professional and the sound quality cannot be desputed as its filmed on a camera etc but i think they are both off they're faces. its such a shame as they both have such proven talent. in my humble opinion and a devoted stevie fan...love from scotland...
