    I bought this underrated classic masterpiece in HMV in London in 1996 and now, listening after 20 years it's so fresh and innovative...incredible

      I bought mine in our price in Macclesfield same year but returned it :( I wanted another Gargantuan, I should have stuck with it. A masterpiece indeed.

    In my opinion one of the best, but also underrated first wave IDM albums and just as good as the best output from Warp during this period. Sits in the middle between Orbital and Autechre. Shame it's overlooked by the IDM crowd as its more than worthy to join the ranks.

      yeah, i think it's because they started out as a trance act and it wasn't on a cool label (it was on their own imprint via A&M) so didn't win them new listeners and lost them old ones

      I don't think it's been overlooked by IDM people. Gets a fair amount of mention

      I guess pretty much it was because Guerilla as a Label didnt't had so much impact as Warp back in the day, eventhough Guerilla récords was as transgresive as Warp, I mean they worked with Drum Club which is awesome.. maybe that happened

    Beautiful electronic ping pong, awesome sounds and melodies, sweet transitions, just way ahead of its time, so unique and underrated. ❤
    Not one voice, just instruments

    • @disco3033
      @disco3033 7 лет назад +1

      Nope, same guy, DJ Spooky is somebody different .... Spooky = IDM, Abstract Techno, Electronica, but also did loads of progressive house stuff as well...

      well, it's a duo, and they started housey before they did this. Check Schmoo which was a minor hit.
