  • I made a survival knife using HSS(HIGH SPEED STEEL). Handles were manufactured using the Hidden Tang method and Titanium and Brass finger protection guards were inserted using Ebony Zebra and Titanium, Water bull's. I've finished with hairline surface treatment.

That's not HSS. You drilled it very easy and
you have filed it very easily too for being HSS steel.

The drill bit is a tungsten carbide bit.

@@artisticson2275 I tried yo use a manual file in real HSS and is literally impossible due to his
heat treatment. How do you do that? Your file is made with carbide tugsten too? Tell your secret please. Thanks! ;) I will try with HSS 135º edge cobalt drills.

I must’ve missed this build. I did see your subs went up. Great craftsmanship but not a true bush craft knife. I built one similar to yours. Congrats and can’t wait for the next one. Beautiful handle

Very nice and beautiful knife but that is not a bushcrafter. Bushcraft blades should always be full tang because of the forces that will act on the handle/blade when for example batoning. A hidden tang blade like this is not strong enough for those tasks. Also the tip is too thin for a bushcraft knife, it would be quite the nice hunter and is also quite a gorgeous display piece.
