I think it depends on the type of cleaner you use as well. I love my entry level Bissel carpet cleaner. It’s light weight not complicated to use and i notice a major difference in my carpets.
@DarkroomZombie , I have one Hoover that's about a year old and still working. And another hoover that's 4 years old and still works. The Bissell is still working, too.
Sometime yes. That would be a lot of work. I would need to buy more rugs too. I mean we all know the revolution hydro steam and big green would wipe the floor with everything else. But maybe someday
@@VacMaster1991Bought it today and I am immediately returning it. It leaks everywhere, brushroll spins in upright position and it completely drenched my carpet. I had to use my Bissell to suck everything up it missed. Do you know how to remove the entire poll from the machine to box it back up? can’t forgive it out.
@@VacMaster1991 It was awful like absolutely awful. It wasn’t just the leakage and the broken brush roll motor the entire machines felt so cheaply made and it was so loud. I’m going to try the new Bissell and see if that’s better.
@@ajf2005 . Yes. I stored that in my shower downstairs. We had a pipe backup and the turboclean, Polti steamer, Bissell lift off steamer, eureka fc8 Bissell pet stain eraser where all saturated with poo water and had to be thrown out.
hard to declare a winner at least for one major thing....extraction... which gets out the most water? As I watched the extraction it looked like the hoover was pulling more water up.. hard to tell... So you put defoam in the tanks? That's a REALLY good idea..foam can KILL a machine...what defoamer do you use?
The Hoover power Dash extracts way more water than the Bissell. I have the Bissell right now that same model I have used the Hoover power dash when it first came out and it does a pretty darn good job at extracting the water the model that I have in this video it’s not very good at extracting water, I think the power has like 7 amps and I definitely know the Bissell only has 4 1/2 amps
THE HOOVER IS INSANE!
Yes indeed
Thank you for sharing this video,Very helpful to me 😊
Glad you enjoyed it

Both will clean fine. I just prefer the Hoover features
I heard from many people that their Hover break after only a few months of light useage, was wondering if that actually ocurring or not.

Mine broke
I enjoy these videos 😄
Great. I'm glad you liked it
Thanks for the video... can you share of Hoover's model?
I'm not sure what the model number is
You should do a mega carpet cleaner battle against all of you carpet cleaners to find the best one.
Sometime yes. That would be a lot of work. I would need to buy more rugs too. I mean we all know the revolution hydro steam and big green would wipe the floor with everything else. But maybe someday
How effective are the dry passes on both these machines? Which carpet dried quicker?
They both dried in a similar amount of time
I’m thinking of buying the Hoover for a second carpet cleaner for my apartment since it has a hose. How has it held up?
@@ajf2005 great. I still use it.

Yes. There is a small hole i think either on the back. You need to press a small screwdriver in there
That sucks. You probably got a bad one. Bissell has a new turbo clean with a hose. You can try that one

great review!
@@bunnygodx thanks
Did you keep both of these machines?
Yep. I like both. Great for spot cleaning. Much easier than using a spot cleaner..
@@VacMaster1991Didn’t you have a turbo clean that was blue as well?

Great review, PowerDash Advanced wins! Thx.

The Hoover is 7 amps in pretty sure
I would say a tie for both carpet cleaners
They both did great on the cleaning but the hoover has much better features.
nice background music
Thanks
the bissell doesn't come with attachments
No it doesn't
The Hoover motor does not last as long as the bissell.
They are both pretty similar. I have had my original Hoover power dash for years and it still works fine
Used distilled water and you eliminate 50 percent of your problems from the start
Are you willing to try the Shark CarpetXpert?
I'm going to soon. When I can
Can this be used on a mattress 😂
I wouldn't recommend it for a mattress
@@VacMaster1991 what machine do you recommend for the type of job and upholstery
They look the same
