Mentawais don't really have absolute beginners spots,but once you can ride a green wave,you can find spots to surf in the off-season, PitStops,Goodtimes, bengbeng, burgerworld , 4 bobs!
Awesome video! Any recommendations for cheap accommodation? From all the research I’ve done it seems impossible to visit the ments without paying 5x the amount you would usually pay in other parts of Indo.

I think nowdays only the big camps arw open but look around ebay homestays.

Depends if you like lefts or right big waves of medium days. Juni- September is big and heavy the rest is more fun. Maybe January is the smallest.
