He didn’t get one shot though you can see his health drop to 70% then he gets hit with stun and he’s at half no trinket then he dies from next hit. He died at half health in a stun. It’s not like he went from 100% to 0 instnstly. They just swapped to healer for their go double evoked burst is gonna hurt! And it was good timing on him with no bubble no trinket.
His death was all trills damage, cdew was in a trap/blind. He shot something before dragon breath and killed him in less than 2 seconds, but yes sterges trinket could’ve been held probably

When games are extremely fast hpal is good. Anything that lasts past the first initial set of CDs is bad.
tbh he has all the healers maxxed and is playing them regularely. he even said in stream he doesn't like playing hpal but will do if he has to, so i think theres a reason behind this :D

The problem with burst like evokers is that 50% of it comes in the form of a aoe stun, so the only counterplay is healer trinket.
But the way dmg and Micro cc is atm the evokers teammate i.e. the DK can easily force a trinket with his own shit, making the counterplay never line up.
IMO, cc should never do that kind of dmg.

the literal best players in the world pulling off insane 1 shots will basically always be a thing. having some long CD big damage abilities is both fun and good for pvp, change my mind. rewards excellent timing and setup and punishes smacking every defensive at once.
