I mean, what's the point in asking anything of this company? We ask for Drest nerfed and we got it finally after almost a year and then they proceed to replace it with an identical version. Once again, a PvE trinket is gonna dominate arena. It can deal up to 10k non crit damage and the average player has about 25-28k HP. Insanely sad honestly.

Ya they nerfed them 55% ago in beta and they are still this strong... atleast its off the first boss. Although its a super low drop chance he got extremely lucky.
@@cynergi7498 Itd bugged then. 11k x.55 is around 5k. Pika is hitting them for 8k+ meaning it scales off of mastery and it crits.

The only issue with it is that it seems to not always hit who you're targeting. If there's someone else within range it sometimes hits them instead.
Also, Blizzard knows how to make on use damage trinkets that work in PVE but don't break PVE. Look at Memory of Past Sins (and ignore the weird stacking damage buff part because it's basically irrelevant) - it sims about the same as Skulker's Wing but doesn't give insane burst.

So the autoatack don't break the sap, as the first tick of rupture takes some time to come up, this way he gets more time with the enemy CC'd while setting up the opener ;)

Skulker's is even a gap-closer, op stuff! I need it cuz my spec has no burst. (So the burst is def worth losing the 40% Vers from 2-set PvP Trinkets?)
isn't that just a buff to existing verse, so if you have 10% base verse you end up with 14% verse. or an extra 2% damage reduction.

I got skulkers as my very first weekend event reward! I was so pumped. It hit for exactly what the tooltip was saying. 2 hours later I log back on, try it again and it hits for about 60% what the tooltip says. Same test dummy, same everything. I’m pretty sure they hot fix nerfed the damage literally in that 2 hour window I logged out. I was so sad :/

Idk I got this trinket and was hyped but it's so inconsistent? Sometimes it does 3k critical and other times it does 7 how pika manages to do 8k+ with it I can't understand.

Its not a bonus to vers, its a bonus to the damage and healing, the DR part isnt increased 40%. Realistically all the set bonus does is make the game even more one shot/spiky

pro rogue, but why do you dance during duel? you can use stealth abilities in duel, i know that SD buffs dmg, but you can link 2 dances with a duel to extended stealth time.
Also gain energy from popping dance, and shadowy duel takes 50 energy that’s a lot

@@Wolfgrimm535 it actually allows you to detect stealth players and mobs better so its not useless. Thats why you see pika spamming it so he can sap the enemy out of stealth.

I’ve been saying since pre patch there’s is NOTHING wrong with rogues. No actual rogue ability is hitting this hard, it’s 100% trinkets and kyrian ability.
I don’t think they need to nerf shit, make everything viable, or we’re just going backwards where nothing but 2 classes are viable.
I mean, yes. But they need to nerf shit like one-shot rogue abilities.
classes being able to kill you halfway through a 3 sec stun while being immune to everything isnt exactly something that is solved by "buffing other classes to also have op shit"
everybody agrees that fast paced action is more enjoyable, but the fast pace also needs to make room for punishing mistakes.
ret instantcast healing to full? not a good mechanic for "punishing mistakes"
rogues killing you before cheap shot is even halfway (yes, cheap shot, not kidney)? not a "l2p issue".
kind of a reason why 1700 rated assa rogues from bfa (when assa was probably one of the easier melee classes in the game as well), are now suddenly playing double rogue and stomping players at 2200 mmr, which due to the mmr reset now consists mostly of rank 1 players.
same goes for rets and hunters playing with these rogues.
fast pace is great, immunity while doing unhealable damage/instant cast healing/stunlocking, is however not the right way to go about this
dmg reduction during bubble etc were previous ways to counteract this, but right now, its mostly just that rogue dmg is out of hand entirely, not the design of the class

I mean... Why do you need more vers if you can obliterate anyone in less than 1.5sec with a nice macro ?
be careful it's not 40% verse, it's 40% more effectiveness on your offensive and healing bonus from vers (which is totally different)
