- Houston police said five boys between 12 and 13 years old were inside a car that was reported stolen and crashed into five other vehicles during the chase.

For all you know the kid was raising himself while his mother worked 3 part-time jobs for food and rent.
I am clueless on how 12 and 13 year olds can have the knowledge about how to hot wire a car or bypass the fob system to get a car started with no keys or fob.

@@bassranger1054 I wish I can't find the location of the two relays that switch from 2WD to 4WD high and 4WD low for a 2013 F-350 dually. Ford hid them so well even the owners manual can't locate them.

@@merryhunt9153 Criminals are merely businessmen who engage in activities that are frowned upon by society. A 14-year-old has a lower downside risk if caught than a 19- or 20-year-old.
Just spoke with the parents, they are good kids and never do anything wrong.

I realize per their ages they are considered kids. Unfortunately those kids are out stealing cars. Hard lesson to learn. They probably aren’t new to car theft or car jacking.

There are so many reasons why these kids are out there committing crimes and being careless. But one factor is for sure to be the main reason. So many broken families these days. Divorce is skyrocketing, fathers and mothers not doing their job as parents. Kids have too much time on their hands. This is infecting our youth. As a man and father now that came from a broken home I will state that when my father wasn’t present in my life, I looked for attention and wanted to feel that I belonged somewhere and could never find it. Parents have a hard job even if both parents are together and working together to raise a family. Buts it’s much harder when you’re a single parent (mom or dad) raising multiple children on your own. These young kids these days are just looking to find where they belong and what they are meant to be in life. So they look and admire older kids who seem to be doing better than them. Unfortunately they make the mistake of getting involved with the wrong crowd. Not trying to justify any of their actions. Just simply pointing out the underlying issue with our society these days. Parents. Love your children, teach your children to have goals in life and work hard and honest to achieve their dreams. So many parents neglect their children. They buy them video games or the latest technology such as phones and figure that everything is ok. But that’s not enough. You have to be on top of them constantly! A parent’s job is never easy. But I would rather be hard on my children and force them to make better decisions in life before the wrong person does. The streets will NOT teach them anything useful.
