Maui was such a good boy. Mine would have been meowing non-stop. FYI, ask your vet for gabapentin in pill form that you can crush into his food. Don’t give him the liquid because it’s very bitter. I give mine 25-30mg, 1 hr before vet visits. She’s only 6 lbs so Maui could probably get away with 50 mg. It helps them relax and feel calm. According to my vet it is safe. And for my anxious cat it’s very effective.

Your Dad is cool. You look like you have a very lovely family life. All the best, luv from NZ. Also my vet gave me a script for a couple of the weakest valium pills and told me to cut it into quarters. Worked well for about 4 hours.

I'm assuming it must be different flying with cats vs dogs but I've never needed to show them any vet records or info when flying domestically. They don't even look at him or measure his bag!
I lined my travel little box with a bag. Easy clean up incase pee got to the bottom and clung on. 🤢
