Can you tell us what year was this video taken? If I see good this is a other clinic destance. Great video and thnx! I ask the doctor looks her very young. When I look to other video the doctor looks more expert in wise. Why did doctor bisanga move from the other city to the other city place?

If you need a repair how does it work for hair line and temples. Does the doctor remove the hairs put them in other bald areas then you heal were the doctor has taken the hair that was in wrong position and you have to come back at a later date ?
Hi, yes, usually to remove also takes multiple sessions and 3 months between each one and then finally a re-build. This video is of a recent patient who is starting this process now so may help. Anything else please let me know.

how can one not be suitable but there are times you do repairs for people who didnt qualify for HT.
Improving people who have made bad choices is different than putting people into bad situations. For example we don't operate on under 25 usually but did repair an under 25 year old who had unwisely had surgery that was very pluggy. Had he come to us originally we would not have operated but that is different once they have bitten the bullet and are pluggy. Not operating is not an option then really as it is on a virgin case whom you want to save a world of trouble. Many who have repairs would have been far better off not having surgery at all. It is about then trying to improve their situation that is not the same as offering HT to non-candidates. A good question and I hope this makes sense to you.

Dr. Bisanga is a proponent of oral minoxidil at 5mg dosage daily. Dr. Bisanga also recommends a topical finasteride gel and his patients have reported very positive feedback based on such a regimen. Dutasteride is another option for patients who feel that it may be beneficial. For patients who have interest in Dutasteride, Dr. Bisanga generally recommends a more conservative approach of introducing at weekends in place of finasteride to see how the patient may respond.Side effects from DHT blocking oral medication can be a factor for a small percentage of patients. Each individual is completely unique in terms of their physiology and how they may respond to each medication.

FUE and/or FUT suitability will depend on a patients donor characteristics and extent of loss. For patients with “lesser” amount of loss, we have to question if a linear FUT scar for a lower graft count is the most appropriate approach when we have FUE as a viable option. For patients with “greater” loss, then FUT may be considered if the patient has no concerns regarding the linear strip scar. Scalp laxity is key to ensure that a sufficient surface area of donor can be safely excised using the FUT method, and to ensure that there is not too much stress and pulling in the closure site, that may experience a stretching of the scar. In patients who have high graft demands, and may have experienced loss in the lower crown and potential retrograde alopecia, the surface area of their “safe” donor area will be further limited, meaning FUT may be a more appropriate option.In most patients there is a balance and typically more grafts can be harvested using a combination approach of both FUT and FUE, as FUE can utilize donor areas that can not traditionally be reached with FUT alone.
