As an ex Smack head of 21 years...He nailed the role. 🤓
Except the 300$ a gram price 😂
Yes he did but 300 a fricking gram?
Quality china white straight from the source will cost that much. Blue magic type shit... Ooyeeaa
But I never seen a heroin addict dance
I'm addicted to pigger nussy 🤠
Samuel L. Jackson is the natural scene-stealer in Pulp Fiction, but John Travolta's performance is so understated and nuanced, it is by far the most impressive acting in the movie for me. Next time you put it on, watch for the slight changes in facial expressions and body language he uses to show Vincent's changes of mood: how chill he is with Jules, how agitated he is meeting Butch, and how stunned he is meeting him the second time, how timid he is at certain points when he's with Mia and how he goes from badass to scolded child when he's with Winston. Travolta at his peak here.
One of the best scenes in all movie history is the drug deal scene in pulp fiction . Once in a while I still smoke a joint watching it .
Is she the one with all the shit in her face??
Gimme 3grand of the madman...
I never knew if he said 3grams or 3grand😄
@@misteranon763he said 3 grams
@@jordanreid4512500 a gram that’s 1500
He and Jackson were amazing in that film. Their best roles in their career IMO.
I love John. Greece, Saturday night fever, Blow Out, Urban Cowboy, Look who's talking, are all classics. He takes risks.
Face Off was his best after Pulp Fiction
@@moesab1281 did you watch from Paris with love?
Greece. Like in Athens?
;-)
He nailed it ,when he was driving to pick up Mia , it made me feel like we was both high on smack lol
So interesting to hear how technically he prepares for the role.
Great actor - a monster of his generation!!!
He totally tried heroin!
There's no doubt.
The scene at Mia's house, when John is shuffling around the living room, trying to figure out what the hell he's doing, is really one of the peak scenes in that movie. John did an absolutely astounding job with Vincent in Pulp Fiction. Just a pretty average goon in LA, yet very intricate and nuanced. Listening to him talk about it with this level of depth is curious. Also kudos for embracing his current look. It really fits him.
I love it when he plays good guys, bad guys, regular Joe's, a ladies man, or just a father trying to be a father man's got range.
Just read Junky by William Burroughs…..
Love Vincent Vega!
Holy shit does Travolta look SO different bald!
he looks better
He looks dignified
Seeing a REAL actor talk sbout the craft is fuckin fascinating. John's honestly not one of my faves but he's veru talented.
Nailed the role
His Beautiful Wife convinced him to take the roll.
May she rest in peace.
Yeah John is a method actor (& kudos to Tarantino for seeing & trusting in his "unpredictability " & brilliance!!).
😘👌😎👍
Travolta is a highstanding member of a horrible and destructive cult. Let's not forget that.
Let's not forget EVERYBODY has demons. You and I are flawed as well.
Can you site your sources??? Been living in Clearwater Florida for 10+ years and they actually do good for the community. No I am not scientologist!!!
All run Hubbard did was apply self-help motivation to a religious background, errr story, or dream... Anyway they're not the only religion that believes a giant space coasters going to come pick them up and take them to the promised planet!
@@Lessenjr I'll bet you every thing I've got my demons are nothing like his demons.
@@1mikewalsh I think you're a Scientologist.
@@stepheninczech I'm certainly not saying everybody's are of equal evil. We just all have them. Point is, we all have a Darkside, but we also have something positive to offer as well. Shitting on others demons at every opportunity is kinda petty. Just my opinion of course. Most other people in this thread seem to appreciate his positive contributions.
Directing is so technical
Nope. 500 dollars a gram is some shit
This is actually Beautiful
But honesty though, when did John Travolta get old and bald?!?
I just tried what he was explaining… took like 5 shots of tequila and drew a hot bath I feel amazing rn😂 only thing I’m gonna change is I’m gonna smoke a joking rn lmao see how that is
😍😍😍
Nice interview. Thanks.
Bruce's scenes was the best Travolta and Jackson is getting too much praise
From Paris with Love. Now that is a badass Travolta movie!
I'd love to read those notes.
Knowing Junkies he nailed the role.
I cant stop looking at the skin in the back of his neck
It’s the lizard gill trying to get out
What a great interviewer.
Fascinating
A master of his craft...
Attica!
He's too smiley about this, he definitely sniffed some. Hes from Hollywood alot of them are " chippers " at the least
I don’t think you can sniff it. I have tried it many times but never really sniffed it because other user’s around me told me that you will die from sniffing it and this was before I saw pulp fiction.
@@Crazysummerdays yes you definitely can sniff it. Mist people do. Shooting up is ten times more potent and dangerous. I'm not guessing here I know this for a fact.
@@Crazysummerdays only tar u can't sniff straight up but u can still break it down in a way to make it snortable. but the powder, Wich most times it comes as, is one hundred percent snort/sniffable.
@@FuckTard-dd1ee I am glad I quit many years ago, many people I know died from this addiction
@@Crazysummerdays didn’t work out too well for Mia Wallace
Using that old rickety makeshift needle that wasn't solid
My English Lit Film teacher in HS said she had a friend who saw Quentin Tarantino in the early 90s just after Pulp Fiction hit it big at some party and that he was on heroin, surrounded by women and he smelled horrible. She said you could smell him from the other room.
There's no way that's true.
@@kayaman4487 I mean it seems a bit out there but she was a pretty critical, no-nonsense type person and really would be random for her to lie about that or just blindly believe her friend with no context.
I don't remember anything that explicitly stated he's done H but it's far from being unbelievable to me. But what about it makes you say there's no way?
@@Ryan88881 Hard to be the greatest director of the 00s and also be a casual heroin user. He's said in interviews he has done soft drugs like MDMA and weed. Not sure how that translates to doing heroin.
@@kayaman4487 You're either 15 years old or trolling... There's no way you're that daft as a legitimate adult or person worthy of participating in such conversations in the first place if you're this far behind. Whether it's even true or not, this amazingly erroneous/stupid premise that you allegedly can't be a great director or screenwriter just because you're using what is merely a morphine-derived opioid is a little over the top even for the internet bro. I think you need to take a trip to the library and/or accumulate some more life experience because that's a little too much ignorance in terms of what I'm willing to even engage with. Not everyone is in the loop but at the same time, there's a limit dude. Ignorance is one thing but antagonizing logic and reason to such a degree is not gonna fly. Not in my discussions.
I thought you would actually have a relatively substantive response to counter what I said but you just come at me with lazy late-20th century pseudo-stereotypes ? I don't deal with people that low on the totem pole sorry. Even for the old-timey propagandists that's not a real stereotype kid. If you gonna talk about drugs at least know the basics. It's a freakin morphine derivative, not datura genius. The fuck lol
At this point I just want to know your age group/generation so that I can take it into context and maybe have some hope that the coming of age individuals these days haven't stooped this low. Also for the record, I never stated that he claimed publicly to have done heroin. That was at least part of the point of my comment. Either way, your first sentence not up to par with even being eligible for this conversation so you wanna try that again?
@@kayaman4487no he definitely could also have been a user. 100% possible, I'd even say likely that he has dabbled in those type of drugs, smack, crack etc. Money, fame, it's the life style they get the good shit not like in Trainspotting.
I don't condone btw fuck that. Just smoke weed and be done with it.
DONT CALL IT A COMEBACK! =)
