The chemistry between John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction was priceless. The way those two characters played off of each other was both humorous and dramatic. They lit up the screen.
They reunited in a movie called Basic
Tengo la película , Tiempos violentos me fascina , casi casi tengo la coleccion de películas de Travolta.

John Travolta is just one of the most down to earth genuine actors. His candid Behind the scenes is fascinating. I met him at a restaurant in Los Angeles in 1997 and he’s just the nicest guy
..except for 'living a lie. It's sad that society didn't evolve fast enough for him to feel safe and come out 💔🌈 ..but much luv ☺
@@delg1211 I've heard an interview with an ex-scientologist who knew about him more than the average person and he said John could be bi, but he married his wife very in love and loves her. He said he's not gay, either bi or straight.
@@delg1211wtf ? Come out with what ? Sickness, illness… go take some medication.
@@delg1211Since we're on the topic of "living a lie"
What is a woman?
Just checking.
this man will always be one of my top favorite actors of all time.

Same here ❤️❤️❤️

Pulp Fiction… that was the film that made him a favoured actor for me. I’ll watch anything he’s in, good or bad😂
Momma say momma sah moo macka sah Mike L. Jaxon
What I love about John's movies is that you can watch them over and over again. There arent too many actors you can say that about.
That is so true!!!! Between Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Urban Cowboy, and Pulp Fiction, I've seen them at least 75 times.
John Travolta is a very good actor. He had incredible chemistry with Olivia Newton John. I was disheartened to hear about the loss of Olivia Newton John. What John Travolta movie is your favorite?
So very true I watched Saturday night fever about a million times when I was a teenager 🤗 I still watch it alot besides all the rest of John's movies 🤗💕♥️❣️
False. Loads of actors you can say that about.
Nothing can ever beat Pulp Fiction.
Honestly the all round best movie, the only genres it doesn't cover are sci fi and horror
For a man in his 60s, he sure sounds young.
fr, I just finished watching pulp fiction and he still sounds the same! unbelievable!
A gay lifestyle keeps people young.
@@rabidbigdog That's because they don't typically live very long.
@@rabidbigdog he’s gay?
@@OscarHernandez-il8tv no he’s not, his wife died 1 year ago I believe
A friend of mine, a retired police officer, worked an event where John along with several other actors were present. My friend was working security, it was an outdoor event and he had to spend hours in the sun. Needless to say the rest of the crew and actors treated him like furniture. however, when John came on the side he immediately inquired of the security staff how long they had been there and if they have been given a break while refreshments. When he found out that they had it he made it his business to make sure they got refreshments even going as far as to get them himself and bring it to them. My friend recalls how he treatedHim and his fellow security guards like they were human beings he recognize the stress of the job and how important it was to the production and made sure that they knew how much he appreciated it. That’s what Separates a star from a celebrity.
He killed it on Pulp Fiction, just a brilliant performance. He's a legend for Pulp, Grease, and Saturday Night Fever. Legend.
Barbarino! Legend!!!
I met Mr. Travolta during a TV interview in Hong Kong in the early 2000's. An absolute gentleman and worthy of all the praise.
@@randomcommunist6276 Haha, Marxist 'positivity' at its 'best'!
I really didn't think Face Off, was going to work when we went to see it at the theatre. The premise and plot just sounded too weird, but going to movies was what we did back then. Man, was I wrong. They pulled that off so well, and it was such a great movie.
Yeah going to the movies back then was where it was at. All the steaming stuff is great but not like the old days.
Nick Cage is another legend as big as John. In a whole other kind of hollywood way... Adaptation and Leaving Las Vegas my favorites..
My daughter used to refer to John as the Shakespeare of movies .
It’s evident he’s a person of exceptional character & spiritual growth .Rest in peace Kelly 😪
Thanks for your love and support .

What? How many people do you know that know or have encountered him? Every body I've talked to details how he is a really nasty sexual predator and bully to anyone he thinks he can get over on.
John is a great, humble guy, not pretentious, and a very good actor.
I love John Travolta. He is naturally talented, relatable, and he's not at all arrogant. Can't take your eyes off him.
When John interviews about his movies, even back in the 70s, you can see He’s always had influence on the films, characters, costumes, direction, etc. He Came onto the scene not just a pretty face, but able to contribute to the entire film. He’s also an incredible singer/dancer. What a babe. So hot!
8:24 John becoming Nic Cage again made me smile so hard! Thanks SO much for doing this interview Mr. Travolta!
Amazing 😁😁
My jaw dropped immediately!! I knew Face/Off already but it was still incredible!!
For a second I read it that it made you hard 😄😄😄
This man never changes, he is an angel ❤️

Face off, is the film I realised John Travolta really could act. It is an amazing performance by both of them.
Been watching him since I was a kid in the 70's and he was the biggest star on the planet back then. Nobody was bigger. Thanks for the movies and the music.
Don't know if you saw it but this shows John & John as "The Bomb" couple back then. Gosh, wonder what their kids would've looked like?! #Gold

I searched, “John Travolta cussing,” and got this lol, and I am pleased. I will forever appreciate John travoltnuts’ contribution to film. His characters always had this sensitively masculine, charismatic humbleness to them. Love. ❤️
I searched up ‘John travoulta interview’ because I’m obsessed
One of the greatest actor of all time.
I always enjoy to watch and listen John Travolta because he is so full of life and energy. He does what he loves and and what he's really good and talented at. What a great man.
I'm 45 and finally watched Saturday Night Fever. It had a Rocky vibe to it minus the boxing. Good movie 👍
John Travolta was in so many classic movies, such a talented sweet guy.
The very best interview on John Travolta telling us about his various movie characters ever!!! I so loved this! Amazing video!
I cannot believe he didn't mention anything about Phenomenon. That might be his best ever movie - his performance in that was like the title suggests: phenomenal.
I love that movie.
BLOW OUT is by far his best performance. And apart from PULP FICTION it's the best movie he ever made.
Grease was such a good movie, music wise hard to touch ever!!!
Absolutely!! When it would be on regular cable, if I ran across it, that’s where the tv stayed. Love that movie
Really great that John speaks so openly about his roles - very watchable.
Now he shaved his head, his features stand out. Handsome.
He really does come across as a very nice guy! Genuine.
The Fanatic is one movie I've yet to see.
I was only a kid when Grease was released in theaters yet for 40+ years I have remained completely jealous of his good looks, talent and dance scenes with the immortal ONJ.
7:41, "Face-Off" is one of the most non-believable movies ever made, yet it's one of my favorites 😀
What a great actor. After listening to him, you realize that there is a great intelligence behind his best performances.
He's a cultural icon. For 50 years.
This is a fantastic interview, it covers a lot of movie history
I love him!!! Such a gentle soul. And what a babe- especially when he was younger 🥰🥰😍
John Travolta ..a great dancer! Good Actor!
As a cusp Aquarius/Pisces, & his Mercury & Venus in Pisces, Travolta can transmography himself into being his characters. What a nice guy, too!
I have admired Travolta since freaking 84 when I was 9 years old .
When you look at this review of career (and it missed a lot of movies) you can really appreciate the talent of Travolta.
What a breath of fresh air.
John Travolta, for me is one of those actors that can make a crappy movie watchable. It’s a rare ability, although I would imagine everyone has their own list of such actors who bring the same quality.
Often it’s been the lower budget movies that he can really elevate. Makes sense logically, but not a general talent that a multitude possess.
R.I.P.Kelly Preston .
You get Hollywood stars
Then you get global superstars travolta is the later absolute stellar actor so many iconic roles
He’s a good guy! 🌍
I like that song ''wada wonda da da wonk!'' from the film Greek.
Love you John Travolta ❤️❤️❤️ love you forever!
Its troubling that Hollywood is making Face-Off 2 without Travolta, Him & Cage are the ones who made the original a classic
Very cool humble guy. Nice nice job.
Man! watching him here I can easily tell how passionate he is about what he does
Great interview John , we all loved you in Kotter and all movies you have done , well done bravo!!!!! Margaret Morales of San Antonio Texas huge fan forever
I wished he could have talked about his other DePalma project "Blow Out." One of the best performances he ever gave.
The shot of the shoe up to the window in SNF wasn't John it was a understudy, john was absent that day of filming. Learned that in the 30 anniversary dvd, one of my favorite dvds.
I was NOT aware until the very end of this clip that FRED DAMN DURST DIRECTED A MOVIE. AND JT IS THE STAR?
What sort of cosmic bunnyhole have I fallen Into? # I've got to see the fanatic!
Great video, Grease, Saturday Night Fever- Great Movies.
I really really love this man..
I feel the same way! He is extraordinary & more importantly “has a good heart!”♥️

This was very cool, but I wish he would talk about here being in Hairspray too. :)

He looks great. Glad he in high spirits still.
I can't even count how many times I've watched a given Travolta movie, he is an awesome actor.

I can't put into words how much I love him in Pulp Fiction. He's so goddamn likable.
Amazing charismatics style actor John Travolta
love this interview! great hearing JT talk about his career in this way.
Screen Legend in every decade from 70s onwards
When an entertainer allows himself to be seen bald, I have to admire such honesty. I never saw 1/2 of John's work, but I always admired what he did. He was unheralded in 'A Thin Red Line' but was absolutely wonderful and professional as Navy brass.
I would love to have heard him speak on "Urban Cowboy."
I feel the same way! Loved that movie!
Me too

Nic cage impression spot on
The story about Stayin' Alive is different!! He said in the past that the Bee Gees weren't involved until post production and that he danced to Stevie Wonder and Boz Scaggs!! What is it now?? But he's right : it was a good choice to use it at the beginning!! It describes Tony without any dialogue!! It would have been wrong to use it for the legendary solo dance!! One of my most favourite movies of all time!! Love you, John!!
He was great in 'A Civil Action' ...where he played a lawyer. Very underrated movie too.
That is a good movie.
Very good movie the supporting actor the cinematography underrated movie
Such a good actor!
So wonderful to watch ! Thank you John 😊
"You looking at something friend? - You ain't my friend palooka. - What's that? - I think you heard me just fine punchy." I though immediately of this scene when John spoke of developing a friendship with Bruce. Those guys must have had a hard time not cracking up with this dialogue! It makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it!
One of the best and talented actors going around. Plus JT is a good bloke!
gosh he's the best
BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING WITH A PURE HEART OF GOLD AND INFINITE TALENT IN ACTING, DANCING AND SINGING. MOST OF ALL, AN AWESOME FATHER AND HUSBAND. IN ALL OF HOLLYWOOD HE SHINES WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TOWARD THE WORLD.
Thank you John Travolta for giving me one hell of a great hero many years ago.
A beautiful man.
I love John Traviolta. I love his acting, the way he is with people. There is no bullshit or huge ego. I love his sese of humour. I loved Grease. I do believe Grease would have been nothing without him as Danny Zuko. He brought the whole movie to life. Along with Olivia Newton John. Who has sadly passed. May she rest in peace. But John has so many facets to his acting. That's a mark of a legend right there. I had to laugh at what he said about THAT white suit in Saturday Night Fever. I thought for years it was his idea. I thought he had a lot to answer for cos in the discos that time we had these old men with white suits and black shirts thinking they were John obviously and when they turned around you could see the arse of their trousers hanging round the backs of their. kneecaps.🤪🤣🤣🤣 Not a pretty sight. I thought John Travolta you have a lot to answer for here boy.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And here he is saying it wasn't his idea at all. That he wanted a black suit and a white shirt. That would be more like it. John. All is forgiven. A movie is a movie. But I will never forget the sight of this old geezer trying out Johns fancy steps in this white suit. He was acting like he was a real stud. He must have been at least 80. And many more turned up in white suits the weeks after. I am so happy to hear that John never wanted that blasted suit. 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣. I love him all the more for it. God bless you John. Much love Susan xxxx ❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🤗🤗🤗
"That baby grew up and killed me" 😂
Yeah, John left his mark.
A great all round actor, that must have learnt a lot from his mothers expertise.
Saturday night fever will always be my favourite, I bought the album.
I am a fan, you are a great actor, you entertained us for years! What happened to great television shows that were upbeat that the whole family could watch, to the fantasy world has became the new norm?
I wish he had talked more about Look Who’s Talking. That movie helped revive his career.
amazing 10/10
John Travolta is very good to his fans when they meet him in person. I met him near my home when he was filming Michael and he was so kind, nice and humble. Smiled a lot. Great guy who deserves his success. He signed my Playboy magazine interview with him and he also personalized my Pulp Fiction laser disk cover and gave me the special pen he used and which was needed to sign that material. Wow!
Loved watching you strutt and dance and sing always will
John's the man! He's so laid back. I love people like that. Super swell actor.
Awesome actor!
I love John Travolta's sincerity. And these are great stories! John, you are always inspiring to listen to. By the way, you rock the bald+beard look. You transitioned just after I did! Health and Peace to you!
He Does look Great! I pretty much said the same thing to him in a different video comment...He rocks the look and looks young for his age..its that inner spirit shining thru...
Face Off is still one of the sickest action thrillers of all time.
He’s awesome
As famous as he is, I've never heard anything bad about him. I've always heard he's super nice and down to earth.
Outstanding actor... him Leo and jack will never be beaten
Let us not forget Daniel Day Lewis though either.
