I don't really understand why people are getting so upset. Anyone who has seen your videos will know that a lot of this stuff IS stuff you have talked about extensively in the past (Origins, Lush, Bath & Body Works etc). It doesn't cost us anything extra for you to get a commission, so who cares. I could understand people getting upset if you do straight up sponsored content all the time, but these seemed like genuine picks of yours to me.
***** I agree, I don't understand why people get so upset either. Nobody is forcing us to click on links, use codes or even buy any of this stuff. Too expensive? Don't buy it. Don't do gifts for Christmas? Don't watch a gift guide video. Don't like Jen? Don't watch her channels. I do have to wonder how many of her naysayers enter the giveaways. Complaining because she isn't giving away items at the end of this video is beyond petty and greedy.
A. Michele I've come to the conclusion that people who leave negative comments just lead negative lives. If I were her I'd delete their rudeness & block.
Heather L If my friend worked for sigma & told me about their product I wouldn't be offended.And I certainly wouldn't call her a used car salesman. Negative comments = negative life. If you don't like her videos watch someone else.
Heather L I personally think you and the other "viewers" are filled with jealousy. She is a content maker here on RUclips and other social media platforms... Anyone, and just about everyone starts somewhere and ends up being a partner, provided your content qualifies for it... but it's a natural progression... Why is it any different with her? Do you work? If so, why do you work? Why do you get paid to do your job? Jennifer puts an incredible amount of effort and love in all her endeavors and most of which are so much better than contents made of others who came before her... those who have a cult following... she's always been very professional about everything and so, why shouldn't she get paid for that? If you had the chance to expand your network and make connections with all these companies, I'm pretty sure you would do the same. There's really no reason why you would bother leaving such a negative comment, let alone continue to watch her videos... what for? So you can point out everything wrong she's doing? I mean honestly... I really don't bother with these comment things, but I feel like Jen always gets bashed for EVERYTHING she does... and I feel it's because people feel they can... people feel like she owes them something... She owes you nothing. Everything she's gotten off of RUclips, she's worked for. It's almost a new year, I suggest you make it a point to refrain from leaving unnecessary comments that could potentially be extremely offensive to someone.... just be happy for them.
Jen I aspire to be as organized and successful as you are one day. I am working 2 jobs to put myself through school, but I push myself to do so because I want to be financially comfortable someday. Watching your videos helps me remember that hard work and dedication pay off in the long run. You truly inspire me, just remember that.
I'm reading some of these comments and..Let's keep this 100% REAL.... Some of you are Clearly Hating on Jen because you can't afford a lot of these things and she can. In the comment box it does say "Share your thoughts"... Not Spew your Venom, I swear some of you circle around some of these YT's pages like a vulture and can't wait to swoop in and leave some nasty comments. She was just suggesting gift Ideas, and a GUN was not one of them so don't feel like she forced you to watch nor buy. Does it matter HOW she received the coupon code or the EXACT amount the Nepalese women are getting? Send a donation to help out if you feel that strongly, they would appreciate it. I don't know Jen personally, I just like organizational videos, but the cyber bullying is just way too much. If you feel Christmas is too commercialized...why did you watch a video titled Gift Giving?? Be Blessed and hopefully enjoy whatever you celebrate. :-)

Thank you for sharing. It is a shame that people get so upset about these things. If people don't like it, they don't have to watch it. I personally love watching your videos & reading your blog with my daughter. We appreciate the time you take to make the videos & write the blogs. No matter how hard you try there is always going to be the "Negative Nancy's" who have nothing better to do than be a pain in the tuckus. Great ideas! I love those Lychee bracelets. I think I'm going to purchase one! My go-to gifts are from Bath and Body Works. I love to buy their lotions, soaps and candles as gifts. If someone wants a flameless candle I like to get them tart warmers.
Hi Jen, remember this, when you put things out for the "world" [RUclips world], you will get a sampling of the world watching. Unfortunately in this world their are people who are loving - who will be kind to even what so many negatively refer to as "the 1%-ers" - no matter what, because they have love in their hearts..and in fact, will even be kind to their "enemies"..then there is the entire continuum which has on the other end, those who are resentful and jealous and laugh the loudest - and, unfortunately again, will scream negativity the loudest. What a gift to see someone turn their very blessed life into one big "share". These people "go into your home" constantly and watch your bounty and then rip you apart. That's worthy of one big "ignore"! Because of your generous heart and Spirit in sharing your life with us, I pray your bounty and blessings continue on for a very long time. I feel like you share it ALL with the RUclips world, and I feel as though you would hand it through the computer to us if you could.... Happy Advent to you Jen, as we await Christ birthday with anticipation, getting our gift-giving ready as the Wise Men did so long ago....after all, Frankincense, Myrrh & Gold were certainly luxurious gifts, right?!?!? :)
I love all the coupon codes and that some items are handmade aka unique gifts. The touchscreen gloves also show up at Marshall's, Ross and TJ. Maxx pretty often for a discount :)

Great video! Lovely gifts! Our extended family gets together at my dad's and we all buy five 1 dollar items from Dollar tree or Dollar General, wrap them, then take turns picking gifts from under tree. We can trade later or keep our gifts. It is fun and really takes the pressure off of family members who can't afford to spend large. We just all love seeing each other and eating together! I can't wait to see everyone for Christmas!!! :)
Great gift guide (as always ;) I LOVE teavana and that would be a great gift and the hot chocolate from William Sonoma- Ive wanted to try their hot chocolate for as long as I can remember and that is a great gift with all 3 flavors, yum :) Oh and live the jingle intro to the vlogmas videos, something little but so cute and festive :)

Heather L. Regarding your comment about going to your "friends house to sell sigma brushes". Have you ever been to any party at someone's house to sell sentsy, Tupperware, or any item for that matter. Guess what the hostess gets compensated, the rep gets commission. Not a new concept. Almost every store you go in the salesperson gets commission for their work. Commission based jobs are everywhere. What makes youtube any different. I have no idea what you do for a living but if you like getting a commission is wrong you must not ever shop at any store in the US. FYI car salesman are not the only commission based jobs.
I agree with others that the negative posts for Jen are unnecessary. Calling these people names is probably not the way to go. I'm sure I remember Jen saying she does not enjoy subscribers scrabbling with each other. So how about we, who do enjoy the posts Jen puts up support her by only posting positive comments. Hopefully if we ignore the not so nice that they will eventually go away. Jen I do enjoy your posts even though I live in Australia. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing the things you enjoy!

I just don't understand those folks who feel that posting negative comments here , especially in the Holiday season, are at all beneficial to anyone. Having been a You Tube partner myself for the past five years, it hurts when people just can't be nice. I find your videos very helpful, and I appreciate your suggestions. Wow, it's so shocking to see how many people hate/criticize someone because they have 'money'. She's very generous as you can plainly see, she's purchases nice gifts for her family, she gives to charity, she's far from greedy. You people get some spirit and be happy for people... even if they have more than you. Anyone can have what she does... get a job and work for it people. Ugh, I despise lazy slugs who sit and suck the pleasure out of someone else's life because their lives are small and tired. Love the vids, that's why I watch them.

Great video Jen :) some great ideas in there. Every year I normally buy a gift pack of mini perfumes (last year was an Estée Lauder one) and I split them up for little gifts for the women in my family.
