I've never been bought pajamas for Christmas (since I was teeny) but now I really like the idea as I like to wear warm, loungy clothes during the winter evenings.

Jen, someone shared that you donated money to a charity, this is nice but it seems like you have a lot of time. My daughters' and I work at the local mall at their Salvation Army Angel Tree. All you have to do is sit at their booth and explain what the Angels involve. Getting clothes and a gift for a needy child. On the given day our whole family works with distribution, the parents come to get the Angel Tree toys and clothes. It is so rewarding, the recipients cry and the workers cry. giving money is great, but giving time and joy is completely different.

Should've looked at Tumi, bought him a Salvatore Farragamo, replacing the one that I bought him 5 years ago, which is still in good condition. A splurge-y gift that I would love is the Breville one-touch tea maker. Hot tea waiting for you when you wake up! What could be better? Although hot chocolate is also delicious.

There's a great company here in the UK that upcycle old/spoiled cashmere jumpers. They turn them into fingerless gloves, snoods, baby booties, really sumptuous scarves etc. It's called turtle-doves. I know you wouldn't be able to send Don's jumper but maybe there is something similar near you.

I agree, that the Bose are worth the splurge...we love traveling with ours. We saved a few dollars and found them at Bose Outlet for $250.

I love getting my mother in law p.j. Sets from Eddie Bauer. They are very good quality and come in petites. Not sure about tall though. There is usually a coordinating wrap sweater or pullover to match for a extra touch.

Jen, I know you get a lot of comments/questions, but I really, really hope you can take a minute and respond. I am wondering how you like your craft room set up- desk. I am thinking of purchasing the desk for our computer room. We plan to purchase enough to have two spots for computers and then some extra table space. Has it held up pretty well? How long have you had it?
