Tab learned from some of the best blues masters in early 70s sitting in with a lot of their sets. I'm grateful a friend put me onto his music about a year ago. Love his take and renditions of favorite blues classics!🤘🎸
Now this is my kind of blues, I grew up learning by listening to Albert Collins, all the Kings, Clapton, the Vaughns, muddy, howlin wolf etc.. Tab hits all those sweet vibes for me man. Just oozing mojo.
Glad "mpharpsax" mentioned the songwriter, Johnny Nitro who was an awesome bluesman in SF bay area....great song and I am such a fan of Tab Benoit, perfect
This song was written by my friend and SF Bay Area blues legend Johnny Nitro (Newton) Johnny passed away yesterday and he will be sorely missed in San Francisco.
Anne Monica Music Gives and Makes Urges. That’s about as concise as English will allow. It’s also the Perfect definition of Music. Music gives and has for centuries been played at funerals, weddings, religious ceremonies of all known tribes of humans. Music existed for thousands of years before electricity. Music had purpose and function. Blues captures all known human emotions. It draws on instinctual attraction. Urges. MM
That's it I give up! Kidding, but these two together are not easy to beat in any sense. Saw Tab in Ft. Worth many years ago and it was one of the best ever live things I've seen and I'm crowding 60. Tab's mastery of a Tele and the whole blues idea is awesome to the bone. Johnny Sansone has the badass tone most harp guys just wish for. It ain't all gear either although a bullet and Bassman is a great place to start. He has the depth at his torso that the old greats knew about and used. I tip my hat to two true blues guys of our era!
Евгений Кириченко tab benoit, not really white. Well nobody from that area is. even the white white guys are so deeply cultured they not really cookie cutter white. but i know blues is typically a black man voiced thing.

Tab, I would love to make dirty dishes with you.
harps don't play over guitars, or singers
What's up with the bass player 😂😂
His name is Corey Duplechin, and he's been playing with Tab since forever. Very nice guy, bad ass player, and plays with feel.
He is the best that I have saw in a while and you can tell that he is having a great time which is very important.
Looks like he has tourettes or some kind of weird facial tic
I smell a rat..from too many dirty dishes
