Don't all of your ends get brown shearing them off like that? I have to pinch everything but branches, or I get yellow, and brown needles, wherever I shear.
I move it outside in the winter because it normally doesn't get too cold where I live and indoors (with the heat) will tend to dry them out. During the rest of the year it is indoors. Thanks for the comment! Good luck with yours. :)
Thanks! :) Still a beginner here. As long as the soil is kept at proper temperature (between 25-40 degrees F, from what I've gathered) will it matter if i keep my juniper indoors? I currently have it outdoors at my parents because it isn't too cold, but when i return to school in January i will have to keep it inside..
I find that cleaning off the trunk bottom to top to start with helps. Also cleaning the branches near the trunk helps.
A lazy Susan can be your best friend when pruning.. Nice tree..
