Learned a lot of useful information. Why doing this work in the summer was probably the best. I do this work in the spring because i want the tree to look pretty as soon as winter is over. Makes a lot of sense to let the tree burst in the spring before trimming and pruning.
Another really helpful Video Josh. Can I ask what you've put on the pot in this video please? It's not highly glazed but then again neither is it matt but something in between, what a beautiful finish the pot has.
May blessings go out to those who have went through colvin and survived, and blessings to the family of those who have lost loved ones. Pray for each other, and help each other. God bless all.
Do you have many Ficus varieties at the nursery and some with age as well as starters I know there has been 2 videos with them present but as a Lake Maq practioner and shift worker i concentrate on the hard to kill
Hi, I'm really struggling with my juniper pingii. No matter how I approach trimming I get browning, also what I have now is bifurcations on bifurcations on bifurcations and I feel like its getting out of control with uneven growth. Any tips much appreciated!
@@BonsaiEn Thats odd, the squamata usually has a habit of generating multiple trunks and growing upright with blue foliage, i thought that it looked more like a horizontalis. Ill see if i can find a specimen here to work with because the tight foliage density looks amazing on that thing.
I showed your tree to my tree for inspiration
I should do that too, my two are 3yo and 6 yo. They have a long way to be like that one
Officially my favorite bonsai RUclips channel.
I have a new juniper bonsai and this was the best video to watch, very informative,
Haha, I definitely think that bushy look is great! Good insight as to why.
A more fantastic outcome then that Lego Bonsai, nicely done!
That's for sure!
Great channel brother.

How old is your tree? Very beautiful
What about spring pinching? Would you consider that as pruning, or standard spring maintenance?

Hopefully the jumping spider went back to his bonsai home and kept it pest-free.
Josh what species of juniper is this? PS: Dying to see a video on cedar! (Maybe blue atlas or lebanon?)
This is a juniper squamata. Very very similar to the juniper nana found in USA
