I personally hate flopping ,and I don't think it's smart basketball as you said, because there will always be the existence of human error when it comes to the referees on deciding if the call is deserved or not. And the same goes with times where the player actually gets fouled and doesn't get the call
just have to look at the flopping in soccer... it has been over a decade since that started. the nba is just catching up. it a game inside the game. the more bs calls you can make the ref call the more it get into your opponents head... all just mind games
that last one with harden is a hard sell. i was always taught that to be in legal defence you have to be feet first and facing. doesn't include reaching on the side. that's and automatic shooting foul. but selling it that hard the flopper should receive a technical foul on top of the personal. imo
You can think what you want but I’m not flopping, these professional athletes are role models to the younger generation and I feel like they should learn good sportsmanship from their role model rather than just see you win a call. Talking about the flopping fines if a player gets the maximum fine for all 82 games of the season he/she will be fined a total of $2,460,000 and that’s nothing compared to what they earn in a year, if the fine was more than they earned and someone actually rewatches the game to find the flops and enforces the fines then maybe the flopping would slow down but where there is competition people will always cheat
I need honest answers only. Are you flopping?
Flopping just seems like an inevitable thing, plus it’s kinda fun to see them get away with it
It really is

That’s a fair point
Great depth to the topic. I think faster video reviews could possibly catch floppers and establish a pride of not flopping
