Allegedly, Pete Townshend said Reni was the most accomplished drummer he'd seen since Moon and asked Reni to be part of of his band but Reni refused saying he didn't know The Who songs.... Which, if true, would be a huge shame... Because it would have been fucking amazing seeing him playing those Moon riffs...man, what an image...

I was at Finsbury park although i live a lot nearer Glasgow but that didn't matter one of the best days of my life & i'm in my 40's & i've seen a helluva lot of bands live but there's something about the Roses that sets them apart.Mani was brilliant,Brownys charisma gets him through,Squire shocked the fuck out of me he was unbelievable but anyone who knows music will tell you Reni is the best drummer of his generation but thats shite,he is far better than that he's the best simple as that.
