Trully, i went out to have some activities going, went back involve in an accident where some bastard vandalized the road signs and happen to be at night. The car was totaled in the end.
Wow, my 100% favourite part of that trip was just having a couple of ladies tackling the tracks in their own rigs like Liv, 100% going to inspire more girls to get out and give it a shot if they keep appearing on the show. Brilliant drives from them 😎👌🏼
@@peterjasperson338 I feel that somehow your comment has negative connotations. Everybody has to start somewhere. I also think those girls have had more experience than you maybe aware of. I am pretty sure I have seen one or both girls on another 4WD video site performing equally well and do some similarly interesting drives. Anyway, it was a great inclusion to include these gals and 10 out of 10 to them for taking on those challenges with the guys. Well done 4WD 24. Hopefully you will include more of the girls in future episodes.
Can't agree more about what it takes to do the HC. I started with a '89 RN105 HiLux Dual Cab, 2.4L carbied petrol/LPG, no p/s, no a/c, leafs all round, split rims with RTs. Tools and dogs in the back, trailer for all the camp gear. That thing went across to WA towing a camper van (early Jayco), beach driving the west coast, Robe to Beechport, and pulled a horse float every other weekend. I remember coming down Billy Goats the first time and it kept popping out of 1st (low) so I had to hold the gear stick and steer with the other hand. Fun times.
@@AdmissionGaming It certainly didn't match my old Fairlane for towing, but yeah, it got the job done with lower gear choices. At least the HiLux leafs stopped it from sagging.
Jock, Pleased to know you have a soft spot for the Defender, you really should do a Defender build some time to really show the other guys what track-bashing is all about. 110 or a 130 would be ideal and you can get some many bits for them. Ok so being in Scotland I would say that but at least you know just how good they really are.
My favorite moment was when you guys kept pushing Liv on the hill when she had that wheel lift and had her push through the fear and drive out of it. She was so pumped afterwards amazing feeling.
That would be a good series. "Back to basics" with the g60, farm truck and Clifford plus one more vehicle that you guys can find and do a trip with Graham, Shaun, Jesse and jocko. And that's the rules. No over the top 12 volt or fancy mods. Just some coolers and sleeping bags and old beater bush rigs.
That was the best show! There would be so many blokes trying to get there girls into off-roading and seeing two strong females drive the wheels off their rigs was incredibly inspiring, I’m hoping that more girls/ my girl get inspired enough to fund their own rigs and I can sit in the passenger seat with a beer and enjoy the ride. Best show yet!!! Tell Steph & Harley to have a kid, we need some young 4wd family content too 😂
Favourite moment was definitely watching everyone keep up the hype and the banter even when things turned south. Just shows that with good mates, it’s never a bad trip
You know it's important when my RUclips notifications wake me up ... Big love from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹... Losing sleep for this lol... It's 345am here
I loved the whole trip especially the Crooked River track. I took my 7 year old son along that track only 2 weekends ago. He loves the show, even more than me, he was very excited we drove the track that Jesse and Jocko did.
Favorite moment had to be jumping on to RUclips to see that the latest video was another Jock and Jessie adventure, Awesome video well done boys and everyone involved can't wait for the next one. Cheers 🍻
My favorite moment of the trip was any time Clifford had the wheels of the ground as it reminds me of one of the first wheeling trips I took in my Suzuki where I had the thing airborne to make it up a hill!
Hi guys. Watching the suzuki go up billy goats was my fav part. Gave me just enough confidence to tackle it in my stock challenger. Certainly harder in person than it looks on camera. Lots of the high country is more challenging than last year. Thx for the entertainment.
Your mate needs a Safety Devices roll cage when he rebuilds his 110, over the years my 1994 300tdi CSW has been over twice and apart from a couple of small roof dents and one in the rear near side wing it’s running fine, original engine 2nd gearbox and third clutch and nearly 750k miles mostly hard off roading through out Europe!
Best part would have to be the big wheel lift liv done. Also think this is the most tame you two fellas have been on video yet haha😂 keep up the good content.
My favourite part of your trip to the Vic High Country was when you had to replace the clutch if Clifford and Jesse standing in the front holding the gearbox and Jocko holding all damaged parts. I found it funny because I don’t think you would be able to stand there in front of the camera holding a gearbox. Guys have some awesome adventures and it was great you had a couple girls join in which be good to see them on an epic journey with all the boys like Shauno Graham and the other guys that normally are in the the group..Because by the the look of it they had a great time learning how to climb over the rocks and Jocko or Jesse helping them on two way radio..Great video guys
Yalwal in our Bundera and Sierra when I was a kid are why I now have a 4wd. My fondest memory is the water flooding in the back during a river crossing (i was on the back seat), and it's probably why we didn't float away
Great episode boys loved every second of the trip but I gotta say my favourite part was in the first part of the high country trip when the sook got sent through that deep water crossing and the fact that it didn’t get drowned and it just started up and hooked in again
I couldn't agree more. You don't need to have crazy suspension mods or giant muddies. I've wheeled all my life in Colorado and have never had a locker.
@@THISISLIVN I would imagine not! I've never filmed my drives but can imagine some of the faces I've made as the pucker factor goes up!! 30,000kgs with rock wall on one side and a 300m drop on the other in full slide on black ice.
My Favorite part was when jessie was slowing going into the river crossing and ended up flood Clifford. by far the funniest part of the episode watching jessie hump into the water. love the content please keep it going
A few mates and I took 3 fairly stock cars into a track and gave them a bit of a workout. A 2004 Mazda Tribute, a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara and a 2006 Holden rodeo. And yes they did struggle and get thrashed heaps. Rodeo which is mine was misfiring heaps bad as well. Made it more fun when the car managed to stall in low range.
Your High Country episode was fantastic viewing and the inclusion of the girls on this type of adventure was brilliant. Hopefully you will do more of these mixed sexes trips to encourage more girls to get out there and have a go. The downside to this episode is contrary to your comments that you don't need much to get out there. True as @jeanmichaelc1 mentions below, but getting back can be a real challenge if something breaks. I don't have the financial resources to put my equipment under such stress. You guys have contacts in the industry, friends able to help seemingly everywhere around the country. Ordinary people like me are in deep "do do" if we break down in the middle of nowhere. For instance, I suspect the recovery of the camera car taking some 22 hours by a commercial towing company would break me financially, let alone the cost of repair for the new clutch and whatever else has been damaged that rarely ever gets mentioned in your wraps ups of the trip. That is not a criticism, but your realties of what costs are involved to tackle the tracks you guys manage is just not in the realm of possibilities for me or many of my friends, even with mechanical capabilities. So, I get vicarious pleasure in fantasizing about being a part of your adventures without the damage or costs to my vehicle or well being. So please keep it up. Great work and include the girls whenever possible.
Favourite part of that video would have to be the clutch change in the zook, that’s gotta be 1 of the last things anyone would do on the tracks, nice work blokes!
Sometimes I really wish I had a car like the zook, I mean it is nice to have off road capability but lately iv found myself getting bored of having such a capable car, been thinking something cheap and basic that you really have to work for to get places is just so much more fun
This was a brilliant trip. I've always enjoyed the missions where a bit of fishing was involved, especially the one where Shauno caught that meter baramundy. Live in NZ and I do a lot of beach launches. I could give y'all a couple of ideas and mods for the boat trailer to make it easier and safer.
I have an 1986 suzuki samurai . 1 owner car that was my parents first brand new car. That is the only vehicle I would never sell .I love it to death. It may be slow on the street. But when u take it off road it's super capable reliable. And just keeps on going

Samurai idea or suggestion. Stretch the wheel base, Toyota diffs, 33, lockers, diff gears, tcase gears and some other upgrades. And go out wheel shauno and keep up with any rig out there. That's how alot of those get built here in the states
No need to stretch the wheel base, big money to do here in Australia since it's need to be done right an you need to get it engineered. Also the short wheelbase is what makes them fun
If you really want to push it. Try a gen 2 RAV4. AWD vehicle. I've taken mine to Condamine river, rainbow beach. I've seen them at glasshouse and Fraser. 2 bucket lists for me. Definitely a challenge for you if you want one 😉
I have heard tell of drilling holes and bolting the pressure plate to the flywheel. But I think using an epoxy to glue them together it's probably easier.
You-all definitely need a get together with old "classics" farm truck, zuk, ect. with all 4 of you driving one. Sadly finding, fixing up a older model and just running trails is getting harder to do "on this side of the pond" as you guys got to see when you were here in USA driving the "tracks" almost everyone here has went mega size tires and like. I started down that slippery slope to find many fun trails became boring to need more crazy trails then exponential more $$$ needed to keep up. A simple, reliable, easy to work on isn't really available now. To many electronics.
My wife and daughters loved having the girls on and my daughters are still young but seeing the girls on and it’s made them even more keen to go out on the tracks and my wife would love to see a female presenter or two on a lot more even showing a woman’s side of it and she thinks a extra few girl power vids as she calls it would be great for the 4wd community
