Countryside Resort Vlog - abandoned children's camp, hunting for berries in forest and date nights

- We've spent several days in the countryside resort here in Russia and I'm glad to share some of our experiences with you. We've explored an abandoned summer camp for children that was built in the USSR times but was closed some short time ago. We've also spent an evening picking up wild strawberries in the nearest forest. There was a lot of good time to enjoy beautiful Russian nature around and we even were able to have a couple of cute date nights. Hope you'll spend a great time with us!✨

Haha yes I was about to respond the same. Minimal Russian Girl being like: 'get rid of your stuff', but also like 'can I take this?' :D I do think we all have this moment, but I think it is also because else the toys are wasting away and no one is playing with them, so people taking them will make sure they have a use still.
And i Swear your husband TOTALLY ruins the stereotype of Russians NEVER smiling. It's great to see a happy family these days
They don't smile because of the Northern urban greyness, but once in the wilderness, they reconnect with nature and it soothes their hearts ;-)

There was almost nothing to pack because Agatha’s diapers took third part of the suitcase😅 Maybe if we’d go to a longer trip I’ll film something like that because it’s a really good idea☺️

The old houses looked like they would have been great fun for children to play in , such a pity that they have been abandoned, I wonder why they were 🤔
Maybe safety issues.
New owner doesn’t organize camps here. The resort is becoming more glamorous and they don’t need these houses anymore. As I know, they are going to demolish these buildings to make glamping on that side of the river. Very sad actually but understandable😔

@@VictoriaTerekhina Thank you for explaining. Oh, that is such a shame! Kids could have so much fun there! And at night it would be scary. They could have a "haunted house" type thing for the older kids. Sad!
It was really nice to see the different trails that were interwoven within the camp-styled environment, somewhat in a way of embracing the countryside beauty rather than be completely urbanized, which I am sure is enjoyable for a person that may arrive from a large city.

In my opinion (I‘m from Germany) there are so many negative aspects presented about the politics of Russia in the news of western countries and so it seems like the people here are getting an incorrect view of your country.

That was incredible to see! I've worked over in seasonal childrens camps in Belarus a couple of times and your video reminds me of one of them. Was an amazing experience. One year it was with children born with birth defects and making them smile was so rewarding.

thank you for sharing, the wild strawberries are called Alpine Strawberries here in the UK, they do grow in lots of places near me, I live on the edge of an ancient forest that has been preserved and it cannot be touched, its a wonderful haven and lots of wildlife, from Badgers, rabbits, many bird species and a few herds of Fallow & Red Deer wandering about. I also live near to a small river that has lots of wildlife, otters have been spotted there in recent years………

That was very interesting. The woods, lake and fields look very much like here in Canada. I think because I live in a newer part of the world where we are accustomed to public buildings being new and/or repaired to a high standard (partly for fear of the business being sued in case of accident), seeing these old, dilapidated houses open to the public is surprising. I have to admit, I felt nervous that stairs or a floor would collapse under you. But the scenery is lovely. The birds are singing and it is so peaceful.
One of my favorite treats in Russia is the wild strawberries! They're so delicious! They taste like sweet strawberries with a touch of honey to me.
It's nice to know that Russia isn't always covered in snow either lol

It’s amazing how much there is to see and do in the areas that we live in. All it takes is some quick searching, planning (or not, if you’re the spontaneous type), and getting out and exploring. The world is a bottomless pit of adventure, but one doesn’t have to travel far to have amazing experiences and make life-lasting memories!

Nice resort. Looking at the old, abandoned part of the resort, all I could think was - why don't they recondition those old buildings and rent them out as well? Pre-Soviet style Russian folk architecture is so charming!
the resort needs this land to expand, so it will demolish these old houses- she explained it in a comment.
Wowwww! That was so interesting and cool! Your cabin where you stayed was absolutely lovely, and those old play buildings were amazing! So creative and unique and artistic! I hope someone invests in rehabbing them to make them usable again as playhouses, but keeps the original fun and artistry. Really, really neat! Thank you so much for sharing something with your viewers around the world that we probably would never be able to see in person. (Although I hope to some day visit Russia as a tourist - when the world is healed and back to normal).

Such a beautiful and magical place! Every country has it's own style of wilderness and rural areas. They differ, but all are places of beauty. I would love to spend some time in such a green and pretty area.
