Excuse me if I'm wrong... but is this video supposed to show us how "Disney" is quite _literally_ ringing their own company dry? I mean... it _feels_ like it. (And at _Pikachu's expense,_ unironically enough.)
I don’t think the general idea you have is wrong, but I think the message of the video is how entertainment companies as a whole drain their properties dry. The 2 main focuses of this video was Disney and Warner. Disney is seen rehashing their properties with the only big twist of adding in a big star just to draw in money and it somehow gets people applauding. Warner on the other hand is draining the life of their properties even when it’s beyond their prime as the act is still being continued even when audiences don’t relate to them anymore. Entertainment is a scary industry which is what I believe the video is trying to convey and Disney was just the easiest figurehead to explain that.
Sad as it is, this pretty much reflects the mainstream entertainment industry now. There’s so much symbolism in this. There are probably a bunch of other deep insightful comments here, but that ending, hits so hard.... with all of these corporations trying to revive classics to feed on newer generations and prey on the older through “nostalgia”.
A little bit of nostalgia isn't bad. Remakes can be great...but when most of your movies are remakes, well...also, imho, there needs to be a reason for remakes. What Disney is doing is transforming gorgeous movies that still hold up incredibly well, and probably will forever do so, into something that is at best mundane. None of their "live action remakes" have actually been great afaik. "Cartoon animation" is timeless. No need to butcher them.
Diree Totally agree with that. If done right, remakes/sequels can be great. Or at the very least I can admire the effort for trying. As long as they pay respect to the original and add something new to the table.
@@yashuya2022 the problem is often the remakes will be cheaply put together or be pushing political or social ideas. Warner on the other hand is draining the life of their properties even when it’s beyond their prime as the act is still being continued even when audiences don’t relate to them anymore.
Entertainment is a scary industry which is what I believe the video is trying to convey and Disney was just the easiest figurehead to explain that.
@@firewolf950tfwgaming7 I totally agree with you on that. It's a massive head-scratcher (for sure), but that message really was as clear as day. :)
This gave me the chills
After this i can say im going to have very terrible and weird nightmares
True crime > creepypastas, imo at least
Chosen of Khorne what’s creepy pasta??
@@firstfloor_ it's when you find bugs in your pasta
This is not scary at all like wow
glagherty fjfjj is bugs on pasta supposed to be scary??
Disney buying anything just straight up ruins it.
@@yashuya2022 the problem is often the remakes will be cheaply put together or be pushing political or social ideas. Even forcing creator to change their ideas which have worked well for newer idea which often fail. Plus I think what was shown on the video represent how good actor are often force to play good parts
I felt like I was going to vomit. Great work!
Big yellow rodent used Explosion.

Honestly, it's just Heart Breaking because both Father and Son didn't deserve it. I gave a like for the hard work done on all animations. I don't know what to say.
@Otto Coldbeer Yeah, same here
