The mayo one is because mayo has a fucking weird consistency that causes it to clump in the top of the bottle, with a big air pocket beneath. The other sauces make their own way down the bottle most of the time and only sometimes need to be jostled a little bit, but the mayo you need to fucking whack with something to get the flow going.
Since NL's been talking about subway for so long, I decided to try it for the first time a few months ago. It's honestly kinda disgusting, but I've gotten a Subway sandwich every few weeks since then. It's such a guilty pleasure

The thing about the topping stinginess is so true, when I worked at subway they had a guideline of three or four of any topping (yes, even yellow peppers and olives) and an auditor from the company would come every month and knock off points if you weren't doing it correctly. Also if you accidentally got meat or cheese on the topping side of the bread or vice versa, it was dumb as hell
