Bought one of these off someone on OfferUp for $40. It didn't come with a power cable. I had a dozen of old laptop cables laying around, luckily one of them fits and works. Was able to print some cool toys. Only issue is it could not connect to my wifi, its stuck on the connection screen for all of eternity. Will just have to print using the micro sd card. Not bad for $40.

Here's a quick update. Used the glue and got my dragon out in one piece. However, when it completed the dragon it raised the print head to the top of the printer screamed and failed with a failure to home.... albeit in three languages. I tried to print again and it screamed straight away..... I manually lowered the head to mid way and it is currently printing the cat.
I am glad this is an easy to use one! Takes me back to the days PCs had just come out and you were forever dealing with hardware issues.

So, I've watched several of your videos concerning entry-level printers, and I am most impressed with your ability to review these machines in terms that are easily understandable.
I am on a fixed budget as a retiree, and I am looking for your recommendation for a 3D printer that will fit my learning needs yet be able to keep up with my learning. I want to be able to print a few items that are more than just trinkets and expand my knowledge for some custom pieces.
Which printer would you recommend in the $200-$300 price range?

This is identical to the aladdininbox SkyCube because with the addition of a leveling probe. That printer was a QC nightmare but I have faith in mono price because their customer service is A1

Actually it is the same exact printer as the WEEDO Tina 2. WEEDO is the manufacturer of the Tina 2 and the Cadet.

Do not buy this. Trust me, I am a beginner in 3d printing, I just bought my Ender 3 Pro, which is 49$ less than this, and it is way better in every single way.
It takes a few days to get used to the bed leveling, but when you master it, it is no problem. Do NOT buy this abominable piece of junk. This reviewer is probably getting paid by the manufacturer.

So of note for the usb connection. Its a very slow serial connection, probably 9600 baud. Transferring files directly isnt ideal. Overall, especially for a complete buffoon of a noob like me with limited space this is a lovely printer. Wish paper printers were as easy

It is the Weedo Tina2. Monoprice isn't a manufacturer, they have other companies produce for it and then these companies also sell these printers at some point. Likewith the Delta Mini, it is also sold by Malyan as the a300 or something.

Hi, loved the video, bought the printer. I am completely new to 3D printing so your video was great. So far I blew threw the white pla with half a dragon and half a cat. The dragon came unstuck half way through its head. The cat... I ran out of pla. Fortunately I have ordered 1 kg of pla and it arrived 5 mins after I ran out. Ran the dragon again, and it unstuck at the same spot... I didn't want to use the glue so I skipped the dragon and went on to a stl I had. Still working on getting a print out in one piece.
What I can't get to work is the WIFi. I tried this several times and no joy. I also tried the USB but I have not been able to get that to work either.
I also found that putting the micro sd in my pc using the included usb adapter, it was not read. I had to use one of my own Micro sd to usb adapters.
    Still having fun :)
