Fun-fact: Apparently, the model used for Shadow in the mid-credits scene for Sonic 2 is a modified Super Sonic one, hence why he has round eyes there.

What you said is true, the super sonic model is a recolored super sonic, it's not that hard to tell
A few weeks ago, both Ben Schwartz and Colleen O'Shaughnessey posted that they were in the recording booths, so voice recording already started about a few weeks ago
Meaning that whoever is Shadow is already locked down we just don't know yet.
I just really hope it isn't Kirk Thorton. His voice is good for Shadow, but they can't just take another VA from the games.

That's great, I literally can't wait. Now we need to wait some time for first trailer to see real Shadow or finally get to know his voice actor. I actually wonder if they focus on events from Shadows debut in Sonic games or they add some events from his own game. I never played any (not every kido can affort console) of them but internet know a thing or two so I also know some things.

Hey GameXplain, maybe Sony Pictures Animation can make a Splatoon Movie with Inking Girl being the Protagonist and Inkling Boy being her sidekick meeting the Squid Sisters, Off the Hook, and Deep Cut.
