The gal in the black jacket is singing back up is a Imani Coppola. If you haven't heard of her she releases a lot of amazing solo material that's worth checking out. Her song Catch 22 is one of my favorites.
Actually FNM have covered Ben by Michael Jackson live lol it's pretty amazing hearing Mike hit all those high notes!!! Maybe we can do a reaction to it sometime if I can find a good enough quality live version 😎 Fantastic reaction and good to see you enjoying Peeping Tom!!! I actually prefer this live version over the studio version as well, actually I can say this about most Peeping Tom songs, they just work really well together live!!! Thank you once again, really enjoyed this one ❤️
I'm was ST8 BLINDSIDED Roxi!! Yet ANOTHER 'Thing' that i had NEVER Heard before right now.. I wrote more in my own comment here but DAMN!!!! Simply STUPIFIED!!! BIG AZZ Hugs 4 Ya!! Peaceout!! Love 4 Ya Roxi!!
I loved the reunion tour version... I think from Download Festival? Cant recall, but it was that or Coachella.... one of their earlier reunion tour ones.
@@Mx.RumpusParable I think I just watched them all and they are all good so I can't choose lol what do you think? I like the one at Coachella too, Mike up there having fun gives it a bit of an edge lol
The official is straight fire! The band behind Mike is Dub Trio and they are also fire. Great pick by the great Roxanne I assume, my favorite Peeping Tom track and a great live version.
They also performed Mojo on this same broadcast which is pretty damn good and features some more nice beatboxing. The female vocalist here is Imani Coppola who is on Mike's record label Ipecac. Her stuff is definitely worth checking out. The beatboxer is Butterscotch, I don't know much about her other than I saw her once on some MTV show where she was teaching some girl how to beatbox.
I’ve seen Patton in about ten different line ups live over the years, and Peeping Tom is the only one I ever attended where it seemed like he was having a blast. I wish he’d revisit this direction but it being him, I’m not counting on it!
What about Bungle shows, he always seemed to be having a blast whenever I saw them ❤️ It would be great but I think he's got it out of his system, you know how easily he get's bored lol
@@roxannemitchell4119 To clarify, he always seemed to be enjoying himself, but it was always in a snarky and punky way-kinda the lovable asshole. No criticism whatsoever as I always liked his attitude. The Peeping Tom show I saw though was something else-genuine happiness and joy seemed to radiate from him. It was a trip because I can’t remember just about ANY lead singer seeming so...giddy on stage(Though I did watch D’Angelo giggle when George Clinton once made an impromptu stage appearance during his Voodoo tour). Regardless, Patton is one of my all time heroes, just that Peeping Tom exuberance vibe really stuck with me.
@@frankdiceiii5399 I think he gets such a kick out of trying new things, maybe that's it. Also he definitely feeds off other people's energy live so maybe that had something to do with it, to me he's always in his element on stage so I love seeing him enjoy himself, it's so genuine, which I had seen Peeping Tom live
Glad you liked this one so much! And again, love you’ve a grasp of so much in music and vocals. The rapid flips from head voice/high compression to hard distortion chest voice and back isn’t appreciated enough I think. In any artist that manages such extreme shifts., not just fanboying on Mike here. Been proud of my sister as a metal singer who has been working on extreme head voice and screams down to full chest fry/growls and back and is really quite good (I’m happy to say.... awkward when a friend or family member *isnt* doing well and you have to give them your opinion lolol). Also: I’m another who likes this live over the album so I ripped the audio off YT for my media....
That "clap" is coming from Butterscotch's beatboxing , who isn't on the album (Rahzel is, also partner's on Bjork's a capella album with Patton) but Butterscotch will do things like sing, beatbox and play jazz piano - simultaneously. Whatever weird superpower Mike has Butterscotch has got it, too, it's a profoundly humbling thing watching her do what it should take like 5 brains to do. Peeping Tom is a crazy good album and even the version that leaked years before it was released was amazing
There’s a video of them performing Mojo on this show too! Considering how much you loved that one I’d say it’s worth checking out. The drums are a bit more out there in the mix so I think you’ll really like it! Also I think it’s definitely worth hearing the official version of this song too. Just because some of the instrumentation is much clearer. I will say this is my favorite live version tho!
Another great reaction. Thanks for doing this one :) Another Peeping Tom track worth reacting to is "Your Neighborhood Spaceman ", but the whole album is pure fire, so anything by them would be good to react to.

Hey Jay , if you happen to read this i would like for you to experience something you may not have before. Slash, the lead guitarist for guns n roses, said if all the guitar players in Nashville left Nashville he would be out of a job. Roy Clark does a 3 minute song on the odd couple show, a sitcom from the 70's, live unedited and it will blow you away. A true virtuoso on any string instrument. You won't be disappointed.
Hey Jay, i just heard a song i know you will absolutely love. It is called , pick up the pieces, by Average White Band. I forgot how good they were. No words in the song but you dont need them. Try it. You will be missing some blue eyed soul you haven't heard before.
isn't that BREATHE OUT BREATHE IN part the best though? this is every bit as good as the album version. there's just one thing they leave out here from the album version, a really cool 8-bit noise that lasts for maybe a second at the end of the second verse. it's a small thing but I miss it here.
haha you hit that same testicle/testosterone note at 3:20 - mike patton is the man-, always ranked in top 100 lead singers - he's got crazy different ranges-

Once you figure out how talented Mike Patton is it's fantastic music to listen to.
Great !
Mike Patton's voice in this one changes within seconds, I can't even explain how much I like it!
Mike Patton now has recently sung the new TMNT theme song for the new game.
This whole album is worth your time.. great watching you react!
Check out Your Neighborhood Spaceman for something a little different, same album.

I love the fact that when Patton screams “ Breathe Out Breathe In” the 1st time, you ain’t letting that pass.
The 2 songs they play on the Henry Rollins Show are great recordings.
I really wish he would do another Peeping Tom album!

" Like that shit didn't happen" LMAO! Couldn't stop laughing
Imani Coppola is amazing. The woman doing beatbox calls herself Butterscotch, and she gives Rahzel a run for his money.
