Intro Song: Same Old Song - The Weeknd
Outro song: Sunday Morning - Maroon 5 Видеоклипы
Yes, the video is long. But the list had more than 90 singers, and we don't have many high notes battles to male singers. So, enjoy!
Wonderful job tbh
Zenith Zaafir Thx :D
+Rafael Araújo can i be in one of the videos im a high i can sing a d6 which means i sing then all of these me and alex newell would fight to see who sings higher
Uncontained Chaos If you're a good singer I see no problem. If you are not a good singer.... I'm just telling it because I know one RUclipsr that tries to show his range making a lot of battles with him, and he is a mess.
+Rafael Araújo thx this is my account i will be uploading my high note videos from i didn"t start yet but i hope u will watch them. From uncontained chaos
The moment you realize you highest belt note is a middle note for other singers 😭😭😭
Yeah. Sad moment 😔
I WAS THINKING THIS WHILE WATCHING IT I was like let me check the comments to see if anyone else has the problem
+Music Fan YES! AHAHAHAHHA I was like, "why are most of popular guy songs have to be tenor-oriented?!?!?!?!?!?" T____T
It's a middle note for most tenors and for women. Only Baritones Basses and untrained Tenors who cant mix their chest and head have it as a high note.
bad video for baritones hahaha. When I have to go for a vocal battle, I always try to sing notes like F2 A2 because my tenor friends can't reach hahaah.
G4 is a real high note for a baritone like me.
Not for a tenor.
And they're all tenors in this video :')
Michele Panarosa justin bieber is a baritone
Nintendo Style hahHahahahahahahhahah good joke.
Truth will Prevail. He really is now ! Back then no but now he is
@@notbluemi That is not belting. I'm sure you are using strong head voice or face mask. If you're a male, is impossible to belt in the 5th octave
I hate you people so much. Real baritones have no trouble hitting even high notes. I am a bass and my maximum confortable note is a G4. And that’s low fo what most singers should be aiming to do.
Favorites: Bruno Mars, David Archuleta, Mitch Grassi, Freddie Mercury, Jordan Smith, Stevie Wonder, Adam Lambert, Tonex, David Phelps...damn the last two I listed held their notes for so long, I'd never listened to them before but they are GOOD.
The rest are just people I really like
almost everybody man
It's so great you included Steve Green, Wes Hampton, and David Phelps. Often time gospel truly does have some of the best singers. Steve Green, Wes Hampton, Jordan Smith are my favs....
MITCHELL GRASSI PLEASE STOP SLAYING MY EXISTENCE WITH YOUR HIGHNOTES!
Thank you for including Wes Hampton! One of the best tenors in Southern Gospel music today!!
The snippet for Adam Lambert was way to short but the quality of the sound and sustained power he has does it for me!! Best vocalist around!
*Mitch Grassi High Note*
you ain't seen nothing.
+Louise Clayton They literally picked Mitch's weakest G4 XD
+Playlist Ballista ikr? x
+Playlist Ballista LOL. Thisis his best G4 that I saw (I wasted about 3~4 hours to choose his notes). Just give me one G4 better, just one.
+Rafael Araújo wasted 4 hours??! I can spend all my life listening to those notes honey!
+Rafael Araújo BR, olha amei o fato de ter colocado meu amor , mitch 👏🎉💕,e ele é o melhor sorry
Man you`re awesome that you made this and all the other battle videos!!!!))) Thanks!!!
Thank you for support :D
Dude you make amazing videos - really helpful references for aspiring singers like myself
Im all down for Adam Lambert. He can sing so delicately even though hes known as a rock singer :)
I don't know why some of you are mentioning other names, it's not about who you are fangirling over, but who delivered the most superior vocal in this video and it's obviously Luther Vandross, Tonex & David Phelps!
There's so much more for Adam Lambert XD Can't wait for your other videos! Great Job!
G4 is always a note I hesitate to hit, more on the higher notes (but I’ve sustained a Bb4 before)
I can sustain a G4 but my quality is almost always bad kinda shouty :/ Baritone feels 😂 My controlled belts are usually at D4-E4
I was not expecting onew! Oh my gosh
im just here for mitch grassi bc he is queen
same
Me too
of course
Really JUST A QUEEN SHE'S MY LORD
Uh Freddie Mercury is Queen
very nice clip, so helpful for practicing singing.
MY QUEEN MITCH YAAAS YOU HIT THAT NOTE! XD
Daisy Jackson Yes that's true!❤❤❤❤
Freddie mercury ( who have throaty rock Approach ) > Mitch who's more clean and resonate up Bb4 / B4 ... OK !
BAZISSINO 94 I was looking for this…
@Kostadin Kokofrengo interesting you say that...
I was trying to figure out why they seem so comfortable in the upper fourth octave, then I remembered they're tenors 🙄 my baritone chest voice range ends at a G4 on a great day.
+David Vasquez And I'm seeing some people saying that G4 isn't a high note...
+Rafael Araújo the 4th Octave for guys is like the 5th octave for females
David Vasquez Not exactly 1 octave of diference. It's like the female voices are 3,5 tones above the males.
Freddie Mercury rocks
TONEX & DAVID PHELPS!
Mitch is my favorite !
I love him
DAVID PHELPS is the best singer on the planet. I've seen him perform live multiple times and he is literally just as good, if not better, live than in the studio. Check his other videos out. He's amazing.
lol that's to far.
He's a great technical singer but I think I'd get bored pretty quick. He's like an instrument.
Freddie Mercury better
No.
Steve Green is a beast! Plus he can sing high in multiple styles (not shown here) Rock, pop, and opera. Pretty much anything.
Oh my god! It's fetus Mitchy! He still slayed it, even though that's one of his lowest notes nowadays 😂 My favorite, but mostly because I know what he's capable of, haha
@Amore Arusko i see you on every video hating on Mitch, why? Are you that desperate to bash Mitch?I know that is not constructive critisism that is seriously BASHING
Sam Smith is a king of high notes (in my opinion)
Anna Gniada agreed
yep,and i am here for sam smith XD
Anna Gniada no, his notes sounds awful.
Cesar Aranda actually he’s really amazing
vitas say hi
You should do E4 F4 and F#4 too dude. These types of videos help a lot of people on how they should sound. Good day.
You added Tonex, I'm suprised. :):D Glad you like(d) him.
If we go higher with the notes I would suggest you to listen to the Craiglewis Band (especially Jeffrey Lewis), his upper 5th Octave belts are ridiculous!
+urowskiilive They are in the list, but probably will enter in the Bb4.
could you please do a baritone vs tenor battle and adjust the equivalent notes based on their tessitura like you did in your other videos.
I knew Mitch would be here!
lolz same
He's gonna be in every male vocal video lol
CassieJazz96 papa
CassieJazz96 papa
Ikr
This is great to finally see a video about high notes that aren't all about females great video can't wait till the next one :)
+Walcatt It was too hard to make. Something about 40 days to choose the singers and the notes of all battles. Thx for supporting.
+Walcatt And probably more 14 to edit the videos haha.
+Rafael Araújo that's dedication man great job
+Rafael Araújo Appreciate your work man!! i love these videos and i hope to see more of these to do with the male singers!! :D
+andressxpress I will make more male videos. I intend start to work with low notes in the middle of the year (male and female).
I have a new found respect for vocal musicians now.
Jackie Wilson, Mitch Grassi, Steve Green, Brian McKnight, Luther Vandross & David Phelps were my favorites.
+M.C. Lamb i think the same way about phelps. :)
+MrSkinnyJeanz3 Hi! I love your channel and I'm trying to get into pop male vocalists. I was wondering what you thought about the older male boyband vocalists like JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Brian Littrel, etc. 's notes from those included? I think out of the younger ones, Zayn's is supported and Nathan's isn't though.
Kaley Q. Hi, thanks! I'm glad you enjoy. And Zayn's was good, from what I remember, and JT was kinda bleh... he doesn't have the greatest technique. I don't really feel like rewatching it rn for other singers lol but that's what I remember
+MrSkinnyJeanz3 Hi! Thanks so much for the reply. Yeah JT's strain as early as F4 is really apparent to me and my ears are really "untrained." JC's note in this video is @ 2:32 and Brian's is @ 7:04 , if you're able to look. I'm curious about their vocal technique cause with the late 90s/00s teen pop, Max Martin himself said he had Britney, BSB, and NSYNC sing "nasally" and then Xtina and Jessica Simpson also sung with poor technique, so I'm wondering if there's something going on with that era.
Kaley Q. JC's sounded thin... wasn't really feeling it. And Brian's sounded like throat. And I mean, in every era you get messy vocalists, so it's whatever
David Phelps!!!
they all are good ,but mitch grassi , is an angel send from heaven,to sing for us ,so he won
+Brendon Grassi music is my religion I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY USED THE CLIP FROM WHEN HE WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL THOUGH!!! PUT NEXT THESE OTHER PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCES. but yeah he won for sure XD
goldensparr0w probably because they dont know him very well, like we do,but mitch is queen,he won,i think after him ,only lambert and urie!
Brendon Grassi music is my religion Definitely!
Ótima seleção. :D
+Luan Rodrigues Obrigado :D
Who the hell is tonex? He is my new idol now. Those runs woow. And also the last guy.
Tonex & David Phelps GOSH! WHY ARENT PEOPLE COMMENTING MORE ABOUT THEM IN THE COMMENTS. THEY WERE FUCKING AMAZING! I wish I could sing as resonant as David Phelps!
+Nathaniel Schwarzenberg Maybe most of them not watched the whole video.
Rafael Araújo Yeah probably! Keep up the good work btw! Do more do more male singers!!!
4th octave is for male singers as 5th octave is for female singers... male singers to reach 5th octave up have got to use mixed or head voice to get there... and when u're not tenor or "high baritone"... oh, you better start to use it from middle-end of 4th octave.
Particularly, G4 is my highest susteined chest voice, above that, just quick frased notes... 5th octave maybe heady-mixed voice, head voice already or falsetto. I can sustein C6 to E6 through high-falsettos, maybe on a good day a F6.
Tonex & David Phelps AMAZING!
ikr I'd never even listened to them before but they just blew me away!
Adam Lambert and Freddie Mercury❤
Yessss ❤
Phelps' fucking resonance is otherworldly.
YES YES YES YES YES!!! REPRESENTING THE MALES!!! :D
FINALLY SOMEONE DOING MALE VOCAL VIDS!!!
+MimiXtinaChelleKRow You was one of the first who starte focus in the male singers too. Helped me a lot.
+MimiXtinaChelleKRow After this I want to start to do Low Notes Battle. It will be laborious, but will be very cool.
+Rafael Araújo
John Legend, Michael Buble and Robin Thicke will dominate! :D
***** Will be the baritones (and some basses) time, haha.
Thank you! I couldn't agree more, JC's belt was far more resonant than JT.
I like that you kicked off the series with G4. I'm a lyric tenor and I can tell you this is the exact point where high notes start. It's annoying how people say notes in the upper 4th octave are easy for tenors. That's actually the trickiest part for many of us 😭
I'm a "Lyric" Tenor too.
Actually most types of voices struggle with the upper 4th octave belts
Except for soprano's they can easily go up to C5 but I know that Mezzo's start struggling in there too
Mitch 💜
Mitch Grassi = Angel
Kinda miss listening to David Archuletta.. Wondering if he will back and continue his singing career..
that moment when you realise that a g4 is high for some ppl
mostly men
+Sahm Sandersonia yh i commented cuz im a boy and i lose support on G5
I can't hit a G4
I can barely hit G4 lmao
+Glad Drago same lol but I'm comfort range in c4 I can hit higher up to G4 but the most of the time I force it and strain a lot on it :( these singers sing it like its nothing
I'm a Bass, so I'll just take that G4 and feel happy.
i can belt from f#4-d5(eb5) the only thing thats weird is my voice is kind of like talking until an A4 i feel a switch when i sing an a#4 so i think that's when my upper belts start.
ainda bem que desbloqueou o vídeo vou até baixar ... pois estava querendo ouvi e ver esse vídeo e fiquei decepcionado ao vê que estava bloqueado
TONEX SLAYED!
Omg I wasnt expecting Onew to be here
MITCH GRASSI
Nay Nino I love Mitch but I don't think the note included in this video was his best...besides, it's from his high school days!
Yeh, the Queen is here
wow that old video of Mitch Grassi from high school though?! and just so you know that it low for Mitch haha!
+Autumn Griffin 16 yo
Rafael Araújo yeah I know :) haha he is younger than me there! crazy! i'm 17
He was younger than me currently when he was on The Sing-Off he was 19 then and I'm 20
I've found that most male singers are either high baritone-tenor-high tenor not many are low baritone or bass-bariton/bass. My highest note is a F#4, good day is G4-Ab4 and lowest is E2, good day is Eb2. For them hitting G4 is easy, but men! For me it's difficult. My belt note starts at Bb3.
Tonex, Luther, and David. In my opinion!
zayn and bruno 😍😍😍😍 good video!👌👌
I knoow.😍😍😍
Nice that you added Jackie Wilson, he sometimes sounded like an opera singer.
Josh Groban & David Phelps are wow! And I like Steve Wonder.
In my opinion you should add: George Michael, Phil Collins and, especially, the magical Michael Jackson.
Tyrese and Tonex seem interesting, didn't knew them.
So are they hitting Mezzo G4 or Soprano G4?
I don't know some singers here, but are really really good
+Daniela Pg yo tampoco
King at the end of the video
I love that the baritones get to shine here. Tenors cannot lean into F4 - A4 the same way. 8:28 was intergalactic.
Josh globan é barítono e não tenor
That man is a tenor
Josh Groban is a tenor
MITCHIE MOOOOOOO
Mitch Baby Grassi wins
our queen slays 4 ever ~
As a male this G4 note is too easy for me I don’t require so much effort it comes out like it’s a low note
Tenors just don't cut it on this note. It's simple breathing for them. And when they lack the proper mechanics to work their resonators, it's just a boring note. It's not truly "high for a lot of 'em.
Everything above E4 is a high note for 99% of the males, I'm a "Lyric" Tenor, G4 is easy but it is a high note.
Wrong, G4 is a high note even for tenor, it’s easy to hit but it needs work
I'm so jealous,it seems like G4 was nothing for them.I strained at E4 WTF?!
IKR? They're just casually hitting it and I'm here belting it out haha
Rolling Apples I can't even hit F4 properly :/
I can hold G4 for approximately 8-10 seconds but that's without vibrato. Adding vibrato is way too hard on high notes. I can also hit G#4 but can't hold it. Atleast I got my low notes go back me up, I want to belt up to 5th octave by the time I hit 20 (I'm 15). Btw how low can you go?
+Rolling Apples I'm 15 too!,I can go to D2
also my E5 is shaky, when I hold it
What the Song intro?
Adam Lambert!!
So G4 is high note? Wow, i must born to be a singer. Cuz that's in my range. lol Then until B4 i'll sound like someone is strangle me or something.
i forgot how good david archuleta is.. oh my
MITCHY MY BABY
Steve Green man, can't beat that pure quality of sound....they don't make 'em like that any more
There's a lot of cross over vocalists around the world we don't know.
I'm a layryn barritone but I feel it's a little hard to hit some of the G4 in this video. I can belt up to a C5 but it's mostly head voice. I'm stealy so it sounds like Jessie J
I can't go higher than g4. I'm reading seth riggs book but i just can't get it.
Chang Yu-Cheng was the highest male singer ever. He even sang higher than most women.
In my opinión Mitch Grassi is the Best in high notes
G4 is my middle note...
I can control chest up to E5
Wow, Those your top 30, were good. I like them also. Even your 31-33 quite fair, Onew supports up to G#4. Zayn is 20th in my opinion too. He completely resonates it. Not Bad for Justin Bieber, he is just 36th in my opinion.
40th - K-ci (Bad Transition)
39th - Nathan Sykes (Flat on last 2 high notes)
38th - Charlie Puth (Not Bad, you always hate his high notes.)
Also, you should put him in C5.
1st - B.Slade (Long G4, then Phrased G4, he resonates it)
2nd -
Steve green and david phelps son los mejores! calidad de la nota y el tiempo q se.mantiene es lo q vale más.
Meanwhile I'm stuck in Bass-baritone prison. G4s are very high for me.
Me too... Hello!!
Qual é o nome da Música do Nathan Sykes? Que ele canta neste nesse video?
Over and Over Again
Freddie Makes that 'High note' childsplay...and he was a baritone
i can reach F4 is it low for guys? that's the highest that i can reach...
You used very old video of Mitch Grassi.
+Magda Chadaj Is his best G4
I dont know why .. my mixed stop at A4 and when i go higher i feel my throat high too .. i imagining open throat and not being high but i cant(for not being high)
i am so upset
I am completely jealous to David Phelps .. he belted C5 like nothing:"(
That’s because you’re not doing it correctly. I am a baritone and so far my mixed range is up to a C5. You need to learned how mixed voice works. First of all, how’s your falsetto?
jordan smith & mitch grassi >>>>>
Guys...even i can hit a G4...i don't think it's such a high note...Mitch Grassi...OMG !!!
david phelps was amazing, what song/performance is it ??
+Emelie Lindquist Mary did You Know?
does anyone know the title of the song david phelps is singing?
Mary Did You Know?
Nathan Sykes 😍
What is the Bruno mars song ????
Lol I wish I was like that, but hey, I guess I'll stick to being the strange kind of male singer to whom G4 feels like G5 for females...
G4 for men is like a c#5 for females
+Lyric Baritone yeah, when you're a tenor. Im not no tenor tho.
+oTheGalacZo Actually I would go far and say that for high tenors(as myself) g4 for me is more like b4 for females, if you are a baritone, a fourth lower than a mezzo should go well for you, remember this is pop music, in opera things are totally different, there, the male voice is almost one octave lower.
Lyric Baritone Yeah I get you. I'm pretty sure I'm a Baritone, so it certainly feels like a fourth under Mezzos oftentimes, or even an octave under a Soprano, if it's high enough.
+oTheGalacZo I would say that the baritone voice is a octave below a soprano upper belter, the average tenor have a voice a fourth higher than baritones, even tho the male voice can go high, is not good for the voice in the long run, because it will get tired as time passes, is good for the male voice(tenor) develop a solid production up to C5/C#5 and solid low notes like A2/Bb2, for baritones, f2/f#2 to A4.
BRENDON?! Where was he?!?!
Luther Vandross will always be my number 1
mitch💕
