    A4 is definately a powerful high note... Even tenors struggle to sing. To me a good A4 sounds better and more emotional than a Tenor C or High D.

    • @IAmTheRealKen
      @IAmTheRealKen 7 лет назад +29

      Really? I'm a barritone and I can hit A4's somewhat easily enough. O.o Beyond that is a bit of a different story, though.

      Cool comment. many say the same about Bb4. perhaps it's because the male voice maintains its agility at these high notes.

    • @arik0128
      @arik0128 7 лет назад +10

      Ken Hahaha. actually Johnny. but bravo for the easily reached A4 notes for a baritone. im sure you still have rooms for improvement. the secret lies in the tongue root tendons if you are still young, which means the tendons are still too tight. they together with inappropriate stretching neck position hinder you in using your TA muscles fully. i am a bassy singer who sings D2s loud and clear. now i belt out C#5s with full resonance too. practice do change things just like muscle trainings in weight lifting.

    • @arik0128
      @arik0128 7 лет назад +3

      Ken but it takes time and don't forget singing is a breath controlling game. good support keeps your vocal cord healthy and safe from overuse.

    My range has been growing a lot in the past years. In 10th grade I could only hit E4 as time keep passing I started hitting F4 & soon after F#4. In 12th grade I started hitting G4 and soon after G#4 came a long. In these past days I started practicing and I hit an A4 all the sudden. I was shook tbh, and I'm very proud of how my my vocal range has grown, practice does make perfect. 🙌🏻💖

    I might be a teensy bit biased. But I honestly feel like Mitch Grassi should have been in the top 5 on this list. He can hit this note with no trouble at all and when he does, it is is perfecly smooth and almost angel like. But he is my favorite singer of all time so it's likely because of that. He is just so flippin talented it's unbelievable

    Difficult to compare male singers singing high notes,, If you got your technique homed in, the differences on a note comes down to that persons natural fach, a spinto tenor can blend in a lot more chest resonance on A4 than a baritone who would be in head resonance on that A4 note.. The other factor is the color of that singers upper resonators,, afroamericans often have a darker timbre in relation to white singers when comparing singers within the same fach (the pitch generator is from the size of the vocal folds),, It is the larger wider mouth, larger jaw line and wide nose cavity that creates that sound you hear on Lou stubs from the four tops..
    One thing I have noticed is that the heavier/darker the voice is (like a deeper baritone) the more difficult it is to sing connected through the second passaggio.. Is not difficult below like a D4 or above like a F#4 but the E4 is tricky,, 440Hz tuning just kills heavy voices.. Small detune to 436Hz helps a lot for those male fach.

    I wish you had included Jeffery Austin's A4 in Say You Love Me. It was sustained and sounded really great. He was in The Voice.

    Adorando essa fase. Por favor não cometa o erro de deixar o M. Shadows de fora dos próximos! O vocalista do Avenged, ele tem muitas notas maravilhosas.

      ***** Obrigado por dar dica de música kkk. Não aguento mais ficar procurando nota de cantor kkkkkk. A lista já passou de 100 pessoas, fora os que eu olhei e acabei retirando (se contar esses ja foram mais de 120). E ainda vem gente reclamar que falta cantor (quando falam igual vc td bem kk, mas quando reclamam do vídeo por não ter tal cantor, eu não gosto kk). Esse povo não sabe o trabalho q dá pra fazer esses vídeos, só na pesquisa teriam parado, ainda tem a seleção e edição que demora muito tbm.

      +Rafael Araújo eu só gosto dessas do avenged kkkk mas valem 1 cd inteiro. É chato essas críticas né? E depois do vídeo feito fica difícil...

      ***** Chato sim kk. Desde semana retrasada tinha um carinha comentando em todos aqueles meus vídeos de batalhas das mulheres, tipo assim, era em inglês no caso. "O vídeo ficou bom MAS ESTÁ FALTANDO MUIIIIIITAS CANTORAS..." e mandava uma lista enorme de cantoras Filipinas (fez isso até no vídeo masculino do G4 eu acho). Aí ontem eu fui responder (Pq ele tinha falado que eu tinha escolhido notas ruins para 2 cantoras de lá) dizendo que era brasileiro e que aqui ninguém fazia ideia de quem aquelas pessoas eram, também pedi para ser mais convidativo se quisesse que eu colocasse alguma cantora. Porque parecia que ele queria me obrigar a colocar. Pior que os americanos achando que o mundo gira em torno deles, e que tem os melhores cantores do mundo. Depois ele veio pedir desculpa, e que agiu daquele jeito pq lá tem as melhores cantoras do mundo e blá blá blá, não mudou muita coisa pra mim kk.
